Hey Mark, ha ha thanks! The reality is some weeks it’s works and others it don’t but that’s life! I will take it anyway! Did you get your worktops done?
Hi Frank. Obviously it’s hard to say but they rarely have dust on the top and the filters are always full so they do something. The one above the panel saw is purposely for mdf dust excess and i would never move that. The other one should probably be two and then I think I need two high up on each mezzanine. If you have high ceilings I would look at making your own(Dave Cullen on instagram) has a video on it and I want to do it at some point. He is also really friendly and helped me out before with something else. The remote and timer are handy too. I would recommend them but look into filter costs and how to make your own filters as that’s something I still haven’t done but wish I had! Thanks for watching
Hi Jonothan, thanks for watching It’s the itech Eb401. Yes it’s pocket holes on mdf or ply drawers with False fronts, there is previous video out there that shows me making a drawer this way. I will try and find it! Kreg foreman is as follows Accuracy 8/10 Reliability 10/10 Dust collection 10/10 Value for money 11/10 😂 It feels cheap as hell when you get it but I cannot fault it. Matt
Hey Matt, the table top edge bander - would you recommend it? Got a job coming up for a bench & sideboard in birch ply but they don’t want to see the layers so I’m looking into options.
Hey Pete. I would recommend it. It’s from Scott and sergeant all though It’s quite similar to the Chinese ones it is german and well built. I have done 1000s of metres with it! For small amounts an iron works really well tho or you can just use mine if you can make a visit north work.
Ha ha. Tbh for your set up the festool one may work. For me the it’s 4k with festool mft!I would rather get an automated edgebander for a bit more and not have to deal with trimming. Just remember the festool one sticks the glue to the tape and not the board so it can be quite messy if you use a flush trimmer I did a load for a company once and spent longer cleaning glue off the bearing guide then I did trimming and also the glue pucks are quite wasteful if you switch colours (wouldn’t bother me too much as I mainly do oak or painted edging. ) Not hating on it tho as I know it’s a quality product I just don’t think it’s that much quicker or better and when i do curves I just do them by hand.
I've been really enjoying your weekly videos. Hope the new venture works out for you.
Cheers mate, means a lot 😀
Thanks for watching

Nice I’ll take a look at that. I was hoping you would say it’s ok but you would have gone for the Festool one, would have given me the go ahead 😉
