    Do you bag any for acclimating?

    • @WindowsillNepenthes

      No, in the grow tent it's already super humid. And for the windowsill I don't because I'm as lazy as patient... I'm ok if the if the plants recover slowly. 😂

    i want to get a nepenthes that is fine with mostly indirect sunlight on my windowsill ( cant say if it gets direct light there ever as I wasnt at my new place for an entire day to tell) and thought about getting a "gaya" do you think that will be ok or can you recommend a different one ?

    just bought a bicalcarata and an hamata a few weeks ago, i grow them togetter along with other intermediaire and low land, took about 2 days till they start growing and now begining to both pitcher...was kinda scared cuz i tought it may dont work in my intermediari grow tent, but i have a mirabilis x rafflesiana that does great and heard that i could grow hamata in intermediari condition so i tryed cuz condition are their limit of mine, but they seem to thrive! for now, a few weeks is very short, but if they would have to had a problem, they wouldnt thrive as fast and as soon as they did! finger crossed for them to continue to thrive

    It would be so cool to see cork bark backgrounds up the walls, in between the windows. You can make them with pieces and fill in the gaps with coco and moss.

    Does anyone quarantine new plants before mixing them im to your collection, and if so, for how long?

    • @WindowsillNepenthes
      @WindowsillNepenthes  Год назад +2

      I didn't but if I wasn't sure I would do it. FYI quarantine comes from quarante meaning 40 in french. So it was done for 40 days.

    Not sure why bu the burb x petiolata is *pissed* lol. It hasnt unfurled a single leaf and its been 4 months. Meanwhile the rajah x mira has 4 new leafs and is pitchering on every leaf. Theyre both given the same conditions too.
