I have an alata variety that I keep outside year round (the beauty of south Florida) and it is MASSIVE. It definitely loves the humidity.

Incredible plants! You inspired me to try Nepenthes in my apartment, and I'm excited to see these little plants grow.

Amazing video! Thanks for taking the incredible effort to show 1 year ago vs present across so many diff plants! I recently purchased some Truncatas and a Robcantleyi and have set my expectations very low for their slow growth rate haha

Yes, expect them to be very slow and you may have a nice surprise later when they get older 😉

Within a few years, you won't be able to see through the windows :)
Cool video how the plants evaluate after one year.
    Thanks Remy.

Hey Remy! I saw your video about feeding seedlings with fish food. Can you do a test with feeding osmocote and orchid fertilizer (liquid) for smaller seedlings? I saw people talking about it in CPs forums, however I’ve never seen someone try and post results. Would love if you did it, comparing the results 🌱

I always use orchid fertilizer once a week on each plants including seedlings (after the first pitchers arrive). But osmocote are too big for small plants. Or maybe they dilute them into water?

@@WindowsillNepenthesyeah, I was thinking the same. Here in Brazil where I live they sell a powder osmocote-like product. I got a 20-20-20, but a little scared to feed it to my seedlings. You have to dilute in water. One spoon for a liter of water. But hey, do you have more success with the orchid fertilizer or the beta fish food? I’m feeding these really small fish food to my Neps, but interested in trying something else if it’ll help them grow faster. Do you use the orchid fertilizer on the leaves, soil or into the small pitchers of a seedling? I bought a foliar orchid fertilizer as well, but unsure how to use it. Thanks for replying. Love your channel.
