Can you use reason for R&B, funk, soul, gospel, hip hop? Yea, but they don't treat these genres like an afterthought. Mean while the *sound banks overwhelmingly cater to the more electronic digital genres.
Same with the video content.. It's predominantly eltronica artists, sprinkled with a "black" rapper or hip hop producer here and there. Like that's all black folk do lol..
Where are the black vocalists? So many dope producers that make Reason work in those neglected genres. Where are they?
(in general) Where are the actual instrumentalist that use Reason?? Jazz, classical?
Not just a white contemporary guitarist lol.
Ijs the genres they've neglected are much more impressive and have much richer history, and contribution society..
Reason isn't just a "workstation" anymore. They transitioned to DAW, but they haven't quite transitioned from there native genres.
Have u hit them up to ask them? Have you sent any feature request?
You right abt certain things and its a few you missing the point on of Reason
@@LossLeadas Shalom. I did a whole back when they had the forums, but now there's really no official outlet to drop suggestions, or even if they're open. Unless I'm missing somethin.
As far as the point of Reason, am I missing?
It is bro..i talk to them all the time...let me help you
Go to reason site..go to HELP then select CONTACT US SOFTWARE FEEDBACK
Here you go again… Making ALL KINDS of sense .. 👍💯🔥
🤣
I wish the sidechain option wouldn’t be as an extra rack device but instead integrated in the new tool window, let’s say, your on your bass track and you select in the menu wich track will sidechain the bass like a scroll down menu with all the tracks and get automated routing. Less space on the rack, more accurate sidechain in a split second. Also, like you said, gain is on the Ssl mixer, top knob, why an extra device to gain stage? Stereo imager? I already own a bunch like the great Izotope one, not a new feature I’m looking for. I can see how the new sequencer might enhance the workflow, but to me it’s basically just adding the tool window to a track. We will all see what the Beta will bring us, keep up the good work brother
When i was on video with them..the only good thing about the gain tool...anthing thats MONO you can make it sound bigger using the spread on it...sound good......whats crazy i already sidechain with SSL...i run my vocal bus to the beat and set the compressor and sidechain
Wtf they do this all the time...I think that's it for me after 20 years with reason🤷
But I won't use the vst plugin version of reason in another daw.
Reason Studios just doesn't really listen to what we want and takes far too long to incorporate good stuff...if at all.
Exactly man and people trying they best to convince me differently. I'm always welcome to any feature or effect but only add with important stuff people asking for.I think they make Reason for them and not for consumers and I'm not mad.
i def don't care about using the VST in other daws..I might as well use that daw and their instruments lol.
how did you get a copy so fast
Who said i got a copy????
@@LossLeadas I thought You did since you are already working with it in this video
although I did rewatch the video again I assumed you had a beta copy my bad I see now you were just reviewing the he video on line.
@@dj2bklyn 👍🏿
You finally seeing the bs they always doing
I always see things but i have mercy when i pay my money for it.....i stop using it for alot of years...so trust me im with u
Reason 13 is a waste of time. Can we at least get more than 3 themes and ability to create more color tracks?
I agree
I'm still on Reason 10. Reason 11 wasn't worth upgrading to, even at 50% off. Reason 12 wasn't worth upgrading to, even at 50% off. I switched to Studio One 6.
Reason 13 is looking like another bag of nonsense. These improvements are so basic you'd expect them to add them in just a regular update, but somehow they have the nerve to sell a whole new version upgrade off just these few improvements. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for just basic workflow improvements. Maybe I'll buy Reason 14 when it's 50% off in 3-4 years from now. Screw these scammers.
Yea u right...im in my S1
To me being a Reason user since version 6 ive paid for almost every upgrade along the way, it really pisses me off they have the nerve to give this away to a new customer who just hopped on Reason THIS YEAR! Yet a user like me who been faithful and PAID to upgrade everytime get screwed, no free upgrade for me since I purchased my v12 upgrade back in 2022. How in the actual hell is that even sounding legit to these kooks? This may be it for me, I been waitin to switch to Logic, im pissed at them for this
@@mr_unsane yo stop crying on my page about reason..i dont own reason.....u never paid for no full version. U paid a upgrade fee...only $100 and something dollars which aint no money
@@LossLeadas it sound like the only one "cryin" is you lame! You makin 50 vids on this Reason 13 and complaining the entire time. Ive owned and paid for this shit Since V6 and they gonna give a free upgrade to someone who just bought it after Jan 1 this year? Nah that aint it. I was gonna sub to your channel but you lame AF , I guess only you can complain about Reason Studios huh? Whatever bra, make your little beats
I tried beta now and this browser is really really really bad
Oh yea!! Breakdown in detail
@@LossLeadas this shi# opens even when you want to choose redrum sample and sample loading takes ages not finding folders properly. You can't now create any custom folder with RE or VST, this browser is downgrade not impomvemnt. Of course there is now fixed RE/VST seqrch by reverb, stereo, delay, distortion etc but you can't set your own set it always shows all re/vst
Hold up..u cant create FAV folders?
What do u mean by it opens when u want to choose redrum sample
@@LossLeadas you can create FAV filder but only with samples no VST/RE.
When you want to add in ex. samples to first chanel of redrum this browser opens and it's floating on screen. You will see soon what I mean. Previous browser, in my opinion was better. Now you do not have this left navi with folders and RE/VST the new browser take care of every browsing.
Again..no mpe no bye 🤷
Damn i forgot about that...and MPE is important man and that's for producers
Reason 13 = 💩 💩 💩
why you say that? just curious
