thank you so much for this clear explanation about reason studios . i learned a lot from this video , may God bless you my bro and keep up with more and more video tutorials
I love Fl, Studio One and Live 12 for straight hip hop, trap and reggaeton beats. But when I want to do sound design and just vibe with ideas, Bitwig is dope!! For some reason, I could never get into the workflow of Reason and with the points you made I kinda see why. Great video brother, stay safe!✌
Bitwig definitely good for sound design just reason...both don't accept video to add the sound too. Which is weird..but atleast reason u can use as a vst to create around videos
facts...im getting to a point im about to be done with Reason Bc they tooooo sloooow adding certain features Studio One has...i need them now not tomorrow bc im an all-arounder...plus im a one daw do everything they work remarkably that way
Damn Homie… you said what I’ve been saying for years…. To me, Reason is NOT a DAW and I never wanted it to be one.. I thought it was the best beat making/production program… I think the “people” backed them into a corner… I wish they would have stuck with beat production and only improved on that.
Peace...so I just found the VidPlay VST that supposedly works in Reason pretty well. That solves the scoring problem for Reasoners. If Dolby or even waves made an Atmos plug-in that could be used in Any DAW, or Reason made a Rack Extension for Atmos, that would be dope.
I copied the link to your video and posted it on the latest video from reason studios. I hope that they take what you said and fix those issues and make reason better. I like Reason because it's easy to create a redrum and start making a beat. I guess it's the ease of recording in blocks and how easy it is to make arrangements. I recently got the artist version of studio one. How difficult is it to learn?i also have Cakewalk by bandlab and fl studio. My reason studios hasn't worked since Friday. It won't open. I guess it's a sign that i need to learn something else. Which daw is going to help me grow the most and make the best music? Thank you.
I truly don't understand why u think studio one is difficult. But if you only coming from a daw nothing like it..of course modern daws will be a little weird.....but let me help you studio one has the best workflow than any daw u can think of... DRAG AND DROP GALORE......I love reason but they don't add nothing for a guy like me and based on what I do.
@LossLeadas ok.thank you.for some reason I didn't even think about reinstalling it.but I will. As far as Studio One goes, I recently got it.i haven't started using it yet.i haven't made music in many, many years.i am having to learn everything all over again. So,I guess it's all the same. I considered getting pro tools for the ability to take a track to someone else to get it mixed and mastered, or to record vocals with better mics and quality. But I am at a beginner stage honestly. It's time to learn every skill from ground up. How should I go about it?thank you for your help.
my bro i got question for you.. i converted vst-i plugin so that i can use it in reason studios 12.2 yes it works well but when i export my son that sound from vsti plugin is not included please help if you got solution for that.
@LossLeadas I understood him when I hit the translate to English button. But you're right, it's weird that a person will listen to a video on English and respond in a different language.
Yes REASON my main DAW i do everything in...im just a realist.
i already subscribed to your youtube channel, my name is Fedu Elle born in Mozambique in Africa currently living in south Africa .

Far as beat making no daw can touch Reason creativity
Great points you raised here, maybe I should try Studio One, because I mostly only use Reason so I don't know what I missing.
