It a beautiful dial, and is reminiscent of the art deco period style which I love, but to my eye (and this is of course a matter of personal preference) it looks chunkier and larger than I think it “should” be for that style. My two cents.

11:41 I might disagree. The case design might need some refinement of differentiating finishes as how its based from. I have the silver/opaline dial version, the one my model based on was the first early 40s 32mm coin edge Longines, which has polished bezel while the lugs was brushed. The black one came later around late 40s in 35mm, which has polished lugs plus bezel side while the top bezel itself was brushed. So what I might tweak about the case finishing for the black dial was polishing its lug and bezel side while still keeping the top portion of the bezel bezel brushed.

Excellent point. Although I do like the all brushed look, this is something they could consider doing.

    19mm is a deal breaker

      It definitely impacts strap options

I’ve had a grand Seiko that was 19mm lugs and currently have a Reverso with 19mm so for me it’s great as I have 25 straps already.
But it comes on a nice bracelet and a 20mm strap only needs 1mm squeezed on which is easily done.
I think what’s a deal breaker for you would be a trivial issue to the rest of the world 😂

Why - lack of replacement choices?
