Gl1200 carbs are easy, seems hard but not so much. Tuning also, just a different set of skills. Ease of maintenance is why I stay with the 1200. But all are grate.
My dad has a 85 Limited Goldwing 1200 first year they did fuel injection it has been sitting for about 10 years I would like to get it going again but parts are hard to come by
I just love this bike. Love your videos with that huge mic. Yesterday bought an 85 for 4 hundred. Fixing it up now. What tires do you recommend? 404’s… Commander III, Elite’s ??? So many to choose & they all claim to be the best. What ones are on that bike?
@@guymersh3148 this guy is cool, maybe not in the same way Parker meant, but he's kinda awesome in an ironic motorized version of Glenn Danzig kind of way...
that bike looks amazing with just the winshield chopped just opens it up and take a bit of the dork factor out of it what a great machine!
these heavy tanks you can buy allday for under 2 grand they might have a shit load of miles on them but they run forever
I just bought GL1200 Aspencade 84 with 111000kms on the clock. GL are very reliable bikes, 1200 version is much more easy to work comparing to 1500

"...do a line...." LOL that was smooth dude, very Lettermanish.
All it needs is a bigger wind shield...
Absolutely badass bike
Very cool dad had won not sure what year in 80s.
I remember this spot from a Honda shadow
Can anyone give me any info how to get spark to my coils I have the same bike and model
Where is the windshield ????
You would rather have bugs on your helmet visor then have to clean your wind screen.
This guy the coolest carry gun and a knife
Cool? Seriously?
