Edelman was a great player, no doubt, but not a HOF player. Not with a mere 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns over a span of 11 seasons. For comparison, Henry Ellard had over 13,000 receiving yards in his career, and he's still not in Canton.

@@AfricanIceCream As a Patriots fan who literally idolizes Edelman, I don't think he will make it in the hall. But even with his lack of stats, look as his resume. there have been a looooooooooooooooooooot of great players that got recognized for their ability but never got a ring but julian got both, him with Amendola and gronk later made a real powerhouse.
Everyone keeps comparing him to a outside WR. He’s not 6’3 who runs a 4.2. He’s 5’9 and ran a 4.6 and always went over the middle. You can’t compare a hammer to a screw driver or a FB to a RB
EXACTLY, Julian was a more agile Wes Welker or a faster Wayne Chrebet , I always loved Eric Decker in his prime to.....Tyler Lockett in my opinion is overlooked because of Seattle...These are called slot receivers people, they are a different breed of player
Even though I don’t think he should be in the hall of fame (especially since Cliff Branch is still not it), I know this video will be epic like they always are.
Just because other receivers aren't getting into the HoF doesn't mean Edelman shouldn't. Just because we believe he should be a HoF doesn't mean we think he should get in before someone else. You can say someone should be a HoFer without saying he should be first ballot or get in before someone else. His career is HoF worthy. That's all that's being said.
@@SeaGLGaming I understand that, by no means was this an attack on Joseph Vincent or anyone else who shares his opinion, I love the guy and his videos. I honestly felt that I was making a point that even though I disagree with the core message (or at least the title), I know this video is going to be awesome and it was. The Edelman HOF debate is going to be interesting for the next 5 years. In my opinion, he should be remembered as an awesome story and a clutch performer, but he should not be put in the hall of fame. It’s that simple, I am not going to whine when someone disagrees. Also, the point with Cliff Branch was to illustrate that a player that I feel is way more deserving (when he retired, Branch was 2nd in playoff receiving yards, he is now 4th, he also has more pro bowls, all pros and career receiving yards and tds than Edelman, Swann and Stallworth) is still not in the hall of fame.
@@SeaGLGaming he statistically shouldn’t be in the hof, there is literally no argument for him being in, he’s just a product of the patriots dynasty that’s it. Epic! Maybe not in the hall as one of the greatest RECEIVERS. but for sure as one of the greatest FOOTBALL PLAYERS. Absolute beast, love that guy.
Edelman is so underrated, glad you guys show him love. Maybe a Zach Lavine or Klay video next? They're pretty underrated also.
klay is walking history by himself already, lavine is story in the making at best.
Levine could probably get a joe Vincent film if he wasn't completely allergic to defense. I think he's rated pretty appropriately lol
Levine is becoming one of the forgotten stars of today's era. He needs to at least make the playoffs first.
Fun fact: Julian edelman has less yards than Chris collinsworth
@@thetf8142 But, if am not mistaken, he is only behind Jerry Rice in playoffs yard.
I think it’s time to start thinking about Joseph Vincent as being the greatest documentary producer of all time
"You ever hear of Wally Pipp" is my favorite BB quote.
LOL Wes Welker with his cocky, no. Little did he know Bill was trying to tell him the GOAT was on the field.
He really should.
Not only did he have solid general numbers, but he was nails in the playoffs, he was a complete players with blocking, running, catching, special teams, and even a little defense and QB.
Add that each of his yards were tough gritty yards that moved the chains, and yeah.... by pure football metrics, he belongs in the Hall of Fame.
Julian Edelman is forever one of my favorite players. And I love Brady too. This all from a cowboys fan.
Before I watch this: This is the first feature I have EVER seen on Julian Edelman. I already know it's the best. Love your work, Joe!
I'm a Dolphins fans and to see how many times this guy changed those games and broke my heart it goes along way for me to say that he definitely belongs
Keep 'em coming, Joe! Edelman was definitely under-appreciated by too many. What a beast!
imagine someone making a joe vincent film about joe vincent - this man is a legend
Joe needs to be in the HOF with all these NFL videos produced. Does a better job than NFL films.
He uses their footage to do it.
@@PaulGaither 😂🙈
Edelman was a great player, no doubt, but not a HOF player. Not with a mere 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns over a span of 11 seasons. For comparison, Henry Ellard had over 13,000 receiving yards in his career, and he's still not in Canton.
@@TheStapleGunKid He said Joe not Julian
@@TheStapleGunKid not about the yards it’s about the impact he had on the league I mean he won 3 Super Bowls that alone would get any quarterback into the hall of fame why not a receiver
You just completely changed my prospective on him. Wow, you got a way with what you do keep it up🐐
Fk yeah Joe! This video gave me chills. Edelman fought for every damn yard he ever gained, and sacrificed more than most, to be an example on how to stand up and deliver for the good of the team. Tom wouldnt have 2 rings without him IMO.
I watched the Edelman video you uploaded a few years ago and now I’m back. It’s crazy how just you grew
BOOM
PERFECT TIMING ⏱
People hate on New England but gotta give credit where it’s due their dynasty run was amazing
As a kid growing up I hated the patriots , now I respect all of there players and tom brady
yes, he was good more like ok player, but I sure wouldn't call him great player. he only has 3 seasons with 1000 yards. for his career he doesn't have 7000 yards receiving and never been voted to probowl. you need HOF numbers to be a HOF player.
@@funtyes1970 I never said he was a HoF lol shut the fuck up he was the 2nd best post season Wr ever
I’m so excited to watch this my guy Edelman deserves it thanks for the video bro

One day, I would like to shake this guys hand, and thank him for his heart. The day he gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, I WANT TO BE THERE. He's a perfect example of a winner.
I am a huge patriots fan and I’m short for my age. He inspires me to be a tough reciever and never give up
I can't thank you enough. This is my fav player

Trust me buddy don't waste your time there's no unconvincing me
Once again Mr. Vicent you created a masterpiece, i bet Jules is sitting @ home and watching this over and over again! I know i did, do and will do! Thank you!
One of my favorite players to watch. So many amazing plays, so many memorable moments. Julian Edelman, the Iron Man. I hope he gets into the Hall of Fame.
I don’t think he will bc he only had 6,000 career yards
@@AfricanIceCream Yeah, I know. But still, I hope he does.
@@beninmalgaard9836 if he makes it then so should ocho he’s one of my favorites and is so iconic
@@AfricanIceCream As a Patriots fan who literally idolizes Edelman, I don't think he will make it in the hall. But even with his lack of stats, look as his resume. Julian was the number 1 receiver on a team that always had a top offense, and always was in title contention. People 50 years from now could look back and be like, "hmm lets see who made this Patriots offense back in the 2010s so good for so long. Gronkowski. I know that guy, freak of nature, and Jul-- Julian Edelman? Well he must have been a helluva player for them to win so much." See what I'm getting at here. Edelman might be a receiver who will end up being more memorable than Odell, Julio or even AB.
@@elliottpierce9823 yeah I’m just saying the impact they had cam be incredible but I feel stats are gonna say majority of it when your trying to get in the hall Julian had longevity and was always reliable especially in the clutch hence sb mvp but underwhelming stats that’s why I brought up chad. Incredible player always looked open had a huge impact and brought something new but wasn’t brought it bc of stats if they didn’t matter so much edleman would be a sure fire hall of famer
Jules will go down in History as the most underrated receiver in NFL HISTORY!!!!! Heart and Soul left out on the field every game he played 🙏🙏🙏🙏We will always love you Jules !!!!
Forever a PATRIOT 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for the memories JEWELS 🙏🏽

This is soo heartwarming 💕 💖. JV's videos usually are, but his style combined with Edelman's story is unbelievably uplifting, inspirational, and really hits in the feels. 😢 😢 😂
wow his voice makes a lone company sound awsome
Hey man, glad to see you’re finally getting payed for these awesome videos! Might catch some slack for the adds but you definitely deserve compensation for your all the time and effort you put into your videos. Cheers !
I was at the Divisonal Game against my Ravens and when Edelman threw that TD, we just knew the Patriots were gonna win.
Oh man, as a Pats fan that game surely took some time off my life. The Ravens have always been a thorn in the Pats side, they always play then tough.
This video, like all the rest, is most excellent. And moving. Sure am going to miss watching Jules play, but man is he ever the inspiration.
Joe Vincent videos now with 20% extra added goosebumps!

Man this voice is so amazing
I would love to have a voice like that
One of my favorite players of all time. I love that he walked off under his own power when he tore his ACL!
Lets go I am so hyped for this one Jules is the man
Thank you for making this video. #11 Jules had the greatest catch in Super Bowl history against the Falcons, and he MUST be enshrined in the Football Hall of Fame.
Watched his whole career greatest catch I ever saw...absolutely amazing 👏 I'm absolutely shocked he isn't in Tampa Bay right now beating down the bucs facility doors
He explains that his right knee is bone on bone without enough cartilage to run without pain is the reason he retired. I wonder if he got a titanium knee replacement if he would give it a go for a year with TB12 in 2022.
Damn bro I love all the random commentary from Bill Bur and others, and all the random quotes from LOTR. Plus all the buildup of his character and his journey from high school. As a Steelers fan my respect for Edelman just grew a ton.
there have been a looooooooooooooooooooot of great players that got recognized for their ability but never got a ring but julian got both, him with Amendola and gronk later made a real powerhouse.
I was waiting on this one... Excellent work as usual, got a little misty eyed a few times. I miss that Pats team!
Incredibleman!
AWESOME DUDE!
He played 52 percent of his snaps outside tho his words
Even though I don’t think he should be in the hall of fame (especially since Cliff Branch is still not it), I know this video will be epic like they always are.
Agreed
If Lynn Swann is in the HoF, Edelman should be.
Branch is getting robbed tho
He has no personal accomplishments, 0 pro bowls, horrid stats (when compared to some wrs that aren’t even in the hof yet), is a literal downgrade of Wes welker in every statistical category (someone who isn’t in the hof yet either and probably won’t be)
He doesn’t deserve to be in the hall of fame, hell Chris Collinsworth has better stats than Edelman 😂🤦♂️
“The story of the NFL cannot be told without a chapter on Julian Edelman” Exactly why he should be in the HOF. Ultimate gamer. Guy was clutch when it mattered most consistently.
Joseph Vincent - The House Of Documentaries. Each one of these videos give you goosebumps no doubt.
best part of the video is the wife 's face of Atlanta's owner when she finally figures out they are not going to win! now that's priceless!
This video makes me so sad he retired
Was never big into following football until the 2012 season when I started to catch games by the Patriots on tv. Their offensive lineup just astounded me! Aside from Brady, Gronk and Welker. Jules was so fun to watch and was equally as important for me to become a Pats fan 🙂
That MVP won me $900 on a $20 bet. That’s good enough for me.
Probably one of the most undeserving sb mvps ever, it really should of went to a defensive player if we’re being honest
@@thetf8142 With defence it is difficult to single out one player. You would need two spectacular turnovers and some tackles to justify MVP. Most QB MVP's are undeserving. This is a deserved MVP in my eyes. He made the plays that won the game. But I would not begrudge a defensive player that spot either, but who?
Every video just keeps getting better.
You. Are. The. Man. Joe V.
Hall of Iron, thats where the man belongs. The brutal hits he received, and kept on going, this guy was amazing. Clutch player, versatile, left his heart out on the field every single time. You don't need no Fame, when your will is made out of Iron.
Very true
This was Dope AF. Well deserved and you did The Man his justice. This was top notch , Bro Bro.

Edelman adds a whole new level to "little man syndrome"!!!
Its because of these kind of videos that i've fallen in love with the football. All love from 🇫🇯
It's good to see Edelman get the respect he deserves. The reason he never made a pro bowl is that he is too real. Hopefully he makes the hall. Definitely deserves to be in the Patriots ring of honor
if he makes the HOF that means so do literally hundreds of other players. this dude was only special because of the dudes around him
About the best tribute vid I've seen for Incredelman yet. Thanks, as always, JV for exemplary work!!
Thank you for this! It would be a criminal act imo to keep Jules out of the HoF
His numbers not hall of fame, maybe If he was in that 12k or 13k yard club and had 100+ TDs
@@spence_903 He's got something better than just numbers, playoff receiving records, championships, and a superbowl mvp, and just consistently being clutch af in big games. Numbers only matter when a player is on a team that doesn't have the stats that actually matter -- wins.
@@bullionsean456 Players are enshrined because of their ability and individual stats, not because they played on Championship teams. Edelman is a good player but not a Hall of Fame caliber player!
@@seveglider8406 He's got stats and he was a sb mvp. He was so clutch in so many playoff games and superbowls. The catch he made against the Falcons was one of the best ever in the superbowl. That's when the true legends of the sport make their name and show their grit.
@@bullionsean456 Edelman was an average receiver, with average stats who did make some great catches. @@nathanmckenzie904 Yeah lots of people like you say he is not a HOF, why?
@@themrkoxi8334 his numbers are not good. And if you go by post season stats only then you're basically cherry picking stats to make him look better then he was.
Also guys like Michael Crabtree has more post season tds then Elderman and Elderman played in way more games.
If you only guy by yards (cherrypicking) then all that tells me is he caught a bunch of dink and duck plays thanks to Gronk drawing most of the coverage and couldn't make guys miss for YAC.

Homie is 5.10 how’s that short
Average height in the NFL is like 6'2 I believe. QB is one of the taller positions normally
This guy is 5.10 trying to cope 😂
Short by NFL quarter back and outside wide receiver standards. a little under sized for a slot receiver.

Greatest Patriot of all time. The only guy that stood up for the "Patriot way" when every former Patriot shit on the no-fun mentality. I'm paraphrasing but I believe he wrote on the white board, in response to all that noise, that "winning is fun". He did everything it took to win besides driving the bus to the games.
