Hi Iftibashir. Thank you for this comprehensive review. I have two questions:
• Since by default it's an omnidirectional mic, would people's voices around me be audible enough if I use this in a hybrid meeting where others are listening online and the J12 attached to my shirt? OR better just place the mic on the middle of the table for all voices to be heard by those listening online?
• Have you tried using it's USB-C version with the native Samsung camera app? Does it work? If not, which free app would you recommend that's compatible with the mic under the Android OS?

I'm afraid I did not have access to the USB-C version at the time of the review, and I'm not an Android user so am not familiar with apps, however, I would personally place the mic in the centre of the table to pick up all voices - should work perfectly fine......
@@iftibashir Thank you for your reply. A YT reviewer commented on my inquiry that the Approximate audible pick-up proximity is 20cm. Or under 8-inches. Hence, such a device isn't recommended for hybrid meetings. Thank you.

Im curious if anyone can help me with the charging. Whats the indication that the box is fully charged? The color indicator shows green for a sec then it went off. What does it mean? Help
Thanks as always for the great review. One critical question when recording to the iPhone. Do the two Mics record in stereo or mixed mono to the iPhone ? I have a DGI Mic on order but the big problem with that is the iPhone adapter only records in Mixed mono to the iPhone . rode wireless go 2 can do stereo via lighting adapter. I believe the Ulanzi is Mono only also. Stick with the DJI Mic - its great!

Yes, it works just like a standard microphone for general audio and voiceover use as well.
I ordered the DJI wireless mic 6 months and still don’t have it. Maybe I can get the Ulanzi. My only question is can I use the lightning connector with an iPhone case?
I used the receiver with the iPhone in an Apple MagSafe Silicon Case and the fitment was fine ;o)
Can you use it with headphones? Would I be able to use it to video chat with someone through FaceTime for example, while still using headphones to hear their sound and using this microphone to pickup my sound?
Can’t you just use regular Bluetooth earbuds instead?

Yes can be used with apps a the smartphone just recognises an external mic.
I don’t think this is available, yet. All Ulanzi will give me is shipping cost and not the delivery date estimate. I can’t find it on Amazon either.

Yes you could use the USB-C version - you would still need the audio adapter for the action camera though......

@@iftibashir Hi. Curiously, what do you mean? This will work with a GoPro 10 IF you attach the GoPro audio adapter and then connect the J12's USB-C receiver there? Hoping that you'll try and see if this works as I heard from other reviewers that it doesn't work with the GoPro 10 with the J12's receiver connected DIRECTLY to it's USB-C port. Thanks in advance.
💸Overall a nicely produced video, but unfortunately, this is more of an ad or walkthrough than an honest review due to the affiliate link. He has a nice speaking voice.
