Here is a quick instructional video on how I modified my bench to support a ring mandrel, to help with stone setting, hammering, engraving, etc. Hands Free!

Thanks for the great tip 😁
Deborah, you are welcome.
I did the same - I heat the mandrel to size wax rings
You can also drill out a small hole for the small end! While you're at it, drill holes in your stump too....you do have a stump don't you?
No stump for me. :(
Thank you for all your quick tips! I really appreciate them! I noticed you have wintergreen essential oil on your bench. Is there a jewelry use for it? I personally love the smell, so if I can use it in a new way, that would be awesome!
WhereIs TheFire , You are welcome and YES, I use Oil of Wintergreen as a bur lubricant, and it does smell wonderful.
Do you have to pickle after annealing every time before rolling again in the rolling mill?
You don’t have to, but I do out of habit.
Thank you
