How to give a Uniform Texture to Jewelry

  • Here is one of many, many ways to texture the back or front of a piece of jewelry to give it a uniform look. I do this on some pieces that I don't want to put a lot of polishing labor into, it saves me plenty of time to do other things. I use a 1.2mm ball bur in this example, but you can experiment with different sizes of burs.

    Great idea. Thanks for sharing. I'm a newish jewelry maker and learning about the different flex shaft burs and want to add some texture to some pieces. Next I want to get a hammer hand piece.

      Sambora Jewelry sterling stamp was purchased from Stuller and I made my maker stamp.
