    Thank you. This was exactly what I needed to start. It was also helpful to hear the different uses of each!

    Need to set stones in 5mm tennis chain, which burr do I use?

    • @JulessaScofieldMetalsmith
      @JulessaScofieldMetalsmith Год назад

      For a diamond tennis, I’d use the 90 degree hart bur to set the stones. Use a bur the same diameter as the diamonds.

    Are those 45,70 or 90 degree hart burrs? I'm looking to flush set and I'm not sure which degree is the proper one.

    Are ball burs and round burs the same thing?

    Thanks! I'm having a hard time finding bur sets with the right sizes. Any suggestions?

    • @JulessaScofieldMetalsmith
      @JulessaScofieldMetalsmith 3 года назад +1

      In the sets you’ll get burs close to the sizes you’ll need. To get closer sizes you have to order than individually and even then they don’t always have, for example, a 3.0mm instead of a 2.97. So, always use a bur slightly smaller and open the seat to your needs to keep a snug fit. It takes some practice but you can do it! 😉
