Thank god your mom & you are safe from harm from what's happening in hk . Next time bring along some wet wipes to clean the table tray lol and any other things you would touch & hand sanitizer too , next time if i were you i would ask them to use bottle water's for coffee's & tea's cause the water on the plane's are contaminated cause the pipes below the plane are very close to one another yucks i meant the loo pipes and water pipes .

Nice review, Jayden! The food offered in the lounge looked so mouthwatering! AA is so on point by putting the charging plug in front of the seat and not under the seat like the others. I believe they are improving on service and product offerings, if not they are missing out.. Wishing you safe travels!

Great video, as always! American Airlines long-haul product looks not so bad! I also love the GE90 sound when starting-up! Btw. I agree with you, support a smaller channels is a good choice, only sometimes I'm sad when small creators doesn't appreciate it, doesn't response to comments etc.. :-/

Great that you enjoyed your flight on AA. When I last flew AA I was in college that's decades ago! I do agree impressive when economy one gets hkg milk tea although I am no tea person...but a 3 4 3 configuration is rough for a long haul...thanks for a lovely video..u can be a little cheeky haha...
Hehe 3-4-3 is indeed tight but tolerable for me. I did fall asleep and unfortunately the proximity to the lavatory didn't bother me.
I got up grumpy and with a headache but your video brightened my day...thanks Jayden. The main meal didn't look generous or inviting but you said they were tasty and that's the main thing. 17" seat...ouch...but that said, so is Emirates and their seats are ok, maybe because of better legroom. Hope Air China on which I will be flying still has 3-3-3 configuration. Great legs btw :). Keep safe. Oops nearly forgot ...3 cups of tea lol

That row is great for the two seats. Con which is huge for me is that it's right by the lavs. And on a long haul like this no thank you.
Thank you for watching! For me, the galley light was more annoying than the lavatory (the crew didn't pull the curtin), I sat at 30C for half of the flight and found the lavatory not disturbing at all as people wait behind or inside the galley.

Thanks for taking us international this week Jayden! I`m always surprised when an American carrier is rated satisfactory or better, but then I`ve only ever flown AA on domestic routes. I`m not sure that I could sit squeezed into such a tight space for a twelve-hour flight though. If I heard correctly the flight cost only $US400 return which is phenomenal value.
thank you for watching Pierre! I actually like AA! They offer so many food on long haul flights and also a wide variety of drinks (better than Cathay, Qantas, Singapore etc). Cathay is currently offering $3300 HKD return to LAX! (420USD)
I agree, Pierre. Jayden must have an eagle-eyed travel agent to get that kind of bargain. The best I could find for the last week in Feb. on AA was 866USD and 766USD on Cathay. Happy travels!
What a great report I’m flying with American in November in their premium economy cabin from Miami to Heathrow and have heard very mixed reports. The crew on American carriers never seem very smart, they always look a bit scruffy albeit they seem friendly enough. Thanks for sharing

wow the milk tea really looks yum! I flew AA 777-200 before from NRT to LAx and it was a very old config (2-5-2) with a very poor IFE but very generous legroom. Food looks better than before though. Great review as always. So u had immigration at T4? we exited before at TBIT instead of T4.

The food all looks great, although small portions from the looks of it.
Only real complaint would be the tight seats, shame to see they installed 3-4-3 on their 777-300ers, which seems to be the norm at airlines these days..

Yeah I didn't have much expectation when I booked my flights but they all turned out to be quite good, just that the domestic catering for economy is very limited but it was expected in the USA. Agree with the tight seats, it was tolerable, but it will be a lot better with only 9 seats per row

If you were to flight this route you might be better off with CX because of better product in all classes. Bonus is that you can actually tag on the Philippine cities of Cebu, Clark AFB & Davao City on CX & KA from LAX that will actually allow you to avoid the Manila transfer on PR.
I flew AA because it was the cheapest option for onward connection to Miami haha. Thanks very much for watching :)
I flew with AA from LA to PEK last Thanksgiving and was impressed with the amount of food served during the 12-hr flight. But now the meals look so minimalist (even worse than United Airlines). Maybe AA is cutting their meal budget.

Oh no... not another 10 abreast 777! I flown with Emirates with a 10 abreast 777 before and I have to say while it is not terrible, you can certainly notice the difference. The A350 is certainly a more comfortable aircraft with wider 18 inch wide seats, though unfortunately there are rumours of new 10 abreast configurations being implemented on the A350. Still the 777 is a lovely aircraft with that GE90 startup sound. As ever, great video!
Yep I noticed then difference too. That was the first time I flew on a 777 with 10-abreast. It was tolerable but could be much better with only 9-abreast. Thank you very much for watching!

hahaha you make me wanna fly with TK so bad! Yeah much cheaper to gain emerald with QF. Need 1200 for emerald. When she flies Qantas to Australia in business (HKD 20000) she earns 680 points. Plus, other trips like this one earns her the remaining 520 points :D
She is flying MH next month to Adelaide, HKD 9900 earns her 240 points!!!

4 Cups of tea later not bad not bad 😉 I am impressed with the full size cans of soft drink on the flight and the snack galley, some of the Ang Mo FA's on AA need to lay off the snacks and Soda though yup l said it!! All the American Airlines would be my absolute last choice in Economy for a long haul flight. Whatever happened to Greta?

I was on their 777-200ER on a domestic DFW to MIA and they did the same thing as well.

I had a bad experience with American from BWI to DFW than to PEK a few months ago in premium economy. The food was awful and there were basically no service. I would always fly Cathay over AA.
Thanks for watching! I've had another person telling me that PEK DFW flight is less appealing. Perhaps HKG got CX and AA codeshare with them so AA needs to offer better service like CX

@@JaydenWong Water is cheap in Italy. 2 litres of Aqua Di Panna is €1. Mainly due to the tap water being undrinkable. However Italy does have freshwater from taps on the street. This water you can drink. So if you visit Italy and see water from a 3 foot fountain on a random street corner and you are thirsty. Use it, and they are everywhere. It is of the best quality, straight out the ground, Romans built the infrastructure. My mum never buys water, she lives by a lake where the local Italians drink the lake water it is so fresh, she buys quality local water for 5 cents for 2 litres.

John Symons haha yep, I can assure you Indian airports would look like a daily protest if non-passengers were allowed to enter the terminal. Especially Mumbai, where I fly out of the most in India. LAX, my home airport, could definitely benefit from this however I go a lot as a non-passenger as well so I’d be a sad one :(
