I've been pounding the pavement for about three decades and this young fella is a bright spot in a sea of turds. I see him thinking about things that guys 10-15yrs into it generally don't apply thought to. He thinks like a pro. He's gonna do just fine.
That place looked familiar .... I think. Anyways, agreed. I have 15 years behind me and he has clearly had a good start to his career. His mention about walking around first jumped out and impressed me. I have seen too many drivers get into trouble not doing that. I did a dedicated route delivering to dialysis clinics (which ones changing a bit each week). I learned very quick to walk and look first as every times things could be different based on where cars parked.
one shine he’s doing just fine without the truck . You want to try it yourself one day. I’ve done it for 20 yrs until recently and it’s great now being home everyday after work instead of out for weeks
Vasiliy and everyone else - I found an app called "Dock411". You are supposed to put in the address of where you are going and information uploaded from other drivers will help you with approach, parking, access, attitude of the employees, forklifts, how many docks there are, restrooms, food, etc... I have only recently just started using it; most of my stops are repeat stops so I am familiar with them, but I have checked out other places before going there and find it to be quite useful in preparing myself for what to expect at shippers and receivers. A handy dandy app to download!
Crazy delivery places go along with the super nice ones, part of trucking, good for you to see it all. You handled it with grace and maturity, good job dude.
I think that place accepts delivery from miniature toy trucks or maybe play dough trucks..lol that is just crazy.. hope it all worked out okay for you..
Hey, I once had to go to an adress with only one small box what easily would have fit in the cabin .Also had to go to a small book store in the center of Lyon,(France) believe me Old cities in Europe are not build for big trucks. It was a nightmare. Greetings from a driver from The Netherlands, Europe.
couldn't imagine. there is a huge difference in room in the United states. on the east coast where everything is older, you will go under bridges that are 13' 7" all day. 1 inch clearance. in the wester u.s. you hardly see anything under 15 feet. could not image Europe where everything is even older.
I just noticed in trucking your alot like me when it comes to being safe and knowing the roads and checking in advance about your customers for parking and truck route ways to get in and stuff I like seeing that I kinda wish you'd go back to trucking I just found your blog this morning lol
Check out the Twin Arrows Casino in Flagstaff, AZ off the i-40. They give free $ for slot play for all CDL drivers, plus $3 steak and egg meal, plus 10% off the gift shop, plus 50% off the room rate, plus a free $3 value gormet coffee. Of course they have plenty of truck parking.
Just started following your channel, fascinating stuff. When you said you stopped in OKC I wondered where. Looks like right across from the outlet mall. I live downtown-ish so you drove right by me.
I did that and had rent a cops banging on my sleeper at 4am and I was out of hours so I didn't leave. They threatened to call the police and I said please do. Nobody ever showed up but it ruined my sleep I always called ahead to ask or stayed in truck stops after that. However I did park my bobtail on the curb out of the way at a small truck stop in Fontana once and the owner came and gave me grief because I had not paid him to park there so I found a side street luckily I was bobtailing. Parking wars is one thing they don't teach in truck school.
Bo Darville lol yeah I don’t get why people bitch about y’all parking just as long as y’all don’t block people it’s fine with me. I have a lot of respect for you truckers.
If you frequent the Fontana area I’d be happy to tell you where there’s legal street parking for trucks. All truck stops here are pay to park and they’re jam packed every day. Being a local I know of many, many places to camp on the street perfectly legally. I hate truck stops anyways. Too many awful humans there.
Really do not say rent a cop it's very grating on a security guards nerve. We use it as a derogatory term for guards who think they run the place. You truckers sling it around to much, got called a rent a cop and cussed at for waking up a driver who was parked at the wrong docks. We needed ours open for shipments and all he had to do was move 3 slots to his clients. Anyways, some places guards have to pound on your door due to clients wills, or more annoyingly liability issues. Been to four places that semis were unable to sleep just because their insurance said they couldn't. Honestly most guards I know would rather let you sleep. We know you drive long hours.
Lol did a coast to coast run with 1 20lb crate. I didn't even put it on the trailer because then I would have had to tarp it. I just buckled it into the passenger seat. That was an amusing load. Had another load that was literally just 3 boxes of wood moulding in a 53 reefer trailer. Had to get loaded on the street then unload on the street. Couldn't get the truck into either location.
Ever think about using camera glasses? Love your style. I wish you luck with your RUclips Channel. It makes good documentary. Too bad I lost the passion to make Vlogs, I'm into VoiceOver and Commentary now!
These planners ought to look at these facilities through google maps before assigning these loads to us, and then when you thoroughly look over the assignment and look at these facilities through google maps and ask questions, and then they all say the same thing "yes we get big trucks in here all the time!"
If you had to go outside to relieve the bladder, remember, a lot of those places have CCTV cameras looking over the lots. Did you keep the truck between you and the building? ha ha (Good vid, as always)
Best not to Urinate in Public dude. Keep a piss jug with you. Some states consider pissing in public a sex offense (look it up). A LOT of A-hole cops out there....lots of stories.
Use a laundry soap with a big round pour spout cut the spout out use dish soap to kill the smell I can use 3 time in a night and have to empty until I see a storm drain or walk out in the field 30 feet and empty it I also use dawn dish soap in windshield washer fluid I put a little to clean the bugs off when they hit
Here's an idea. Why not call the customers to see if you can park there overnight and where to park over night instead of assuming you can and finding out you can't and have to go back to the truck stop. Plus it gives them a heads up your coming so they are prepared for it and maybe can give you instructions on where and how they are going to unload you
I've done round trip deliveries from montreal quebec to moncton newbrunswick with 1 empty blue chep pallet in a 53 foot drybox because company was contracted for 2 shipments a week
In my case I am a company driver so the company pays for fuel and repairs because it is their truck. But if i was leasing a truck from the compnay than I would be responsible for all expenses.
hey vasiliy, im starting school last week of april and i want to video tape the trips when i get out on the road for multiple reasons. maybe if we cross paths you could teach me how you do it in ffwd and to music,
I asked myself the same question. Even found myself making comments "ohh that's a great idea, why didn't I think of that?". I've never driven a truck in my life. Haha
20 years old looking to start driving, any advice on getting started? I Know I'm unable to go over the road but would like to start getting experience under my belt, thanks
I would suggest getting your permit and then signing up to a local company you can drive within the state until you're 21. Just google local trucking jobs and see if any companies will send you to school. Truck drivers are in high demand these days
Hey man on the give me make a suggestion on the driving part of your videos you might want to not fast forwarded play music all the time because people want to see what you're going through as you're going through it so leave the camera recording talk through the videos as you're driving let people know what you're going through instead of fast forward in playing music all the time
Tire kicker If he just kicked tires with kiddy shoes he doesn't care about the Antifreeze coolant levels until the idiot light Gos off and his employer has to pay a road call
Andriy Stasyuk I mean I could have named it "guy eats dinner" but that's not a very interesting title haha. Nah but I was paranoid the whole night that someone was gonna kick me out of there. I was definitely not supposed to drive back there with a semi
pretty sure you're just jealous this kid knows the ins and outs of the trucking business, knows how to drive a trailer and actually gives good advice. hipster or not he's able to do something most people wouldn't want to do. your ad hominem attacks makes you look ignorant buddy.
I've been pounding the pavement for about three decades and this young fella is a bright spot in a sea of turds.

Thank you very much Sam I appreciate it
I totally agree with you Sam I Am.
We need to get him back in a truck

Dude I dont even know how I found this channel, or that trucking was interesting but count me a subscriber.
I’m here 4 yrs later enjoying V’s videos 😎
This guy is smart and always being proactive.

I think that place accepts delivery from miniature toy trucks or maybe play dough trucks..lol that is just crazy.. hope it all worked out okay for you..
Haha yeah that's what it looked like to me!
Brokers never ask the questions that matter. I have dealt with this many times. You automatically expect this stuff when you get an LTL delivery.
you make great videos man, Hollywood quality! thanks for taking us along your ride :o)

I gotta commend you for presenting the issues involved with trucking exactly as they are.
I just noticed in trucking your alot like me when it comes to being safe and knowing the roads and checking in advance about your customers for parking and truck route ways to get in and stuff I like seeing that I kinda wish you'd go back to trucking I just found your blog this morning lol

Thanks!
Gotta love the sketchy places hahah
Minel Fazlic yes without them, truckers would just be bored hah

Seems like if its a empty space you should park when ever.
If you frequent the Fontana area I’d be happy to tell you where there’s legal street parking for trucks. All truck stops here are pay to park and they’re jam packed every day. Being a local I know of many, many places to camp on the street perfectly legally.

To be fair they dont teach much at trucker schools. You have to learn on your own. 😑
Over 40 years and a few million miles .... we call this just another day on the job

Great stuff, great sense of humor!
Just a heads up that suction cup on the windshield will get you a ticket in most state's
as an LTL driver tugging around a 40' liftgate, that's my everyday hahah. Which is why I want to get into something more relaxing like OTR.
I was waiting for the vid where you stop at a country pride...my fav place while on the road
God thing you went into that delivery at night. Thank you for the video..
If you had to go outside to relieve the bladder, remember, a lot of those places have CCTV cameras looking over the lots. Did you keep the truck between you and the building? ha ha (Good vid, as always)
rich b hahaha that's exactly what I did!
Best not to Urinate in Public dude. Keep a piss jug with you. Some states consider pissing in public a sex offense (look it up). A LOT of A-hole cops out there....lots of stories.

Just hop up on the rear deck and let it go.
Here's an idea. Nicholas Remarcik few more years out on the road and maybe he will learn these things
@@budstephens7239 few more years?? Lmao he's not an idiot im sure after this he realized
A forklift will hoist a hand jack into the box. You trundle the pallets to the end and they fork em off.
I’ve been watching these vids for about 2 hours and they are great they are very cool and interesting keep up the great work
I've done round trip deliveries from montreal quebec to moncton newbrunswick with 1 empty blue chep pallet in a 53 foot drybox because company was contracted for 2 shipments a week
Wow man! Awesome video’ always entertaining and so funny!
Hey my grandpa was a truck driver and died from Front tire blew out so just drive safe
You should get a light bar for your truck at the bottom
The broker and receiver should get a talking to
Looks like the T/A paved their lot. I was there in 2007 and it was mostly dirt.
I enjoyed the video! Keep it up!
You should try ltl trucking. That's where real experience comes from lol
That broker made some money off you getting you to split that load like that. Took advantage of you.
Who pays for the gas? The trucker, the company if employed by a company, the contractor or the intended recipient of the goods? TIA
In my case I am a company driver so the company pays for fuel and repairs because it is their truck. But if i was leasing a truck from the compnay than I would be responsible for all expenses.
Are there benefits to owning/leasing a truck? Sounds like you get shafted if you do because you have to pay for the gas and repairs.
dfshjb44 bigger payout in the end.
Miss your blogs good luck
hey vasiliy,
im starting school last week of april and i want to video tape the trips when i get out on the road for multiple reasons. maybe if we cross paths you could teach me how you do it in ffwd and to music,
Do you ever pull into a truck wash? I just recently quit working at one and I'd love to see it from a driver's perspective.
One it's pretty well lit two your alone no weird truck stop stuff and 3 it's quiet best night sleep you ll ever get
Happy day brother be safe
The Trucking Review Channel thank you :)
I would have just stayed at the TA until morning. How much time are you saving really.
I am just getting into trucking and was wondering what company you worked for?? Your truck looks pretty nice
Im not even a truck driver why am I watching this
Anthony Vargas you find this entertaining
Cause everyone enjoys a good vlogger who takes pride and purpose in his vlogs and editing
I asked myself the same question. Even found myself making comments "ohh that's a great idea, why didn't I think of that?". I've never driven a truck in my life. Haha
Sorry to say but please get your headlights fixed. Nice driving tho. 👍🏻

Was u able to cross state lines when u were 20??
What program do you use for the road?
How High is your Blood pressure after all the coffee you drink a day?
20 years old looking to start driving, any advice on getting started? I Know I'm unable to go over the road but would like to start getting experience under my belt, thanks
I would suggest getting your permit and then signing up to a local company you can drive within the state until you're 21. Just google local trucking jobs and see if any companies will send you to school. Truck drivers are in high demand these days
My grandma lives in okc
i know bro tight spots are the best for truckers. lol
Those headlights tho .
Hey man on the give me make a suggestion on the driving part of your videos you might want to not fast forwarded play music all the time because people want to see what you're going through as you're going through it so leave the camera recording talk through the videos as you're driving let people know what you're going through instead of fast forward in playing music all the time
That's a good idea, I'll give it a shot, thank you!
3:59 watching Casey Neistat, this guy knows whats good.
Some places are cool and some places are uncool to park...
My dad was born in Mexico.
Liked!
Voice is low then bass hits hard with your music. :(
Lol vice made a good docu ab a very sketchy truck stop strip club in Moriarty
Hey what do you mean by pre trip?
Tire kicker
If he just kicked tires with kiddy shoes he doesn't care about the Antifreeze coolant levels until the idiot light Gos off and his employer has to pay a road call
Sir I will have you know that my shoes have a built-in tire gauge
How much do you make in a mounth
Oklahoma City!
git used to it. if you stay in trucking you will see a lot of those places.
Gotta love Oklahoma
Who did you work for
As you were trucking across I 40 why wouldn’t you pick up the phone and give your customer a call ??
Because he's driving 60,000lbs, he needs to focus on the highway.
I’m a new sub to this channel what kind of truck do you drive?
Thanks for subbing! I drive an 08 volvo but Ive been promised an upgrade so ill be changing trucks soon
"Check some other stuff", make sure no asshole pulled the 5th wheel pin
Cameras you use?
Why do truckers thump their tires?
gale212 checking to see if you have a flat tire. I carry a soft hammer to hammer them with. Part of your pre trip inspection.
I wish my truck could.go that fast. Lol. Just kidding.
Do truckers pay for their own gas?
If you own the truck then yes but not company drivers, we get a fuel card
Wrecklesseating music
Are you seriously kicking the tires to see if they are inflated. Invest in a 🔨 to hit them. Kicking them you could barely tell anything
What a clickbait haha I thought they will kick you out from there or something
Andriy Stasyuk I mean I could have named it "guy eats dinner" but that's not a very interesting title haha. Nah but I was paranoid the whole night that someone was gonna kick me out of there. I was definitely not supposed to drive back there with a semi
Vasiliy Agiy hah I'm just messing with you dude, good stuff
Vasiliy Agiy where u in anybody's way in the morning? Or no one bothered you and you finished your delivery?
What are you watching at 3:57
I think that was Casey Neistat
Just curious lmfao
Ur face looks like u hauled them two pallets with it.
We need more of you and less of lil dawg, Ike stephens, etc. Those guys are scams and cancer for trucking.
Lil Dawg has been very pleasant with me so there's nothing but love from my end :)
Vasiliy Agiy little mutt is worthless
don't watch it then.
I have them all blocked. They truly are worthless humans, all of them
its hilarious watching the hipster who weighs 30lbs try to pick his plate like a chicken plucking corn while avoiding the food itself. sad.
Whoa big guy, what's the problem.
i aint wrong am i. this all moot anyway since he moved to being a coffee boy anyway. starbucks fits him better
pretty sure you're just jealous this kid knows the ins and outs of the trucking business, knows how to drive a trailer and actually gives good advice. hipster or not he's able to do something most people wouldn't want to do. your ad hominem attacks makes you look ignorant buddy.
okay boomer drink your prune juice.

NOON AND AFTERNOON ARE THE SAME THING!!!!!
WHAT YOU ARE SAYING DIES NOT MAKE ANY DAMN SENSE!!!!!
Huh?
