"West Ruth Ave" might be the single catchiest song I've heard all year. No joke, this is like beyond Gotye levels of catchy! I'm hooked.
The song is by The Night Flight Orchestra, the new "classic rock" band featuring vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid from Soilwork and bassist Sharlee D'Angelo from Arch Enemy. It's cool to hear Strid's voice in a non-metal context; he sounds just as good and distinctive. And the band is absolutely slammin'.
