Great video. Very well done. Very informative. I'm 63 yrs old & I've always wanted to visit Glacier. My birthday is in Sept. So I think I should treat myself to a trip to Glacier. Thanks.
Wow, we came up here and had some friends that were planning the whole trip for us. They had an unexpected issue and couldn't make it so we were left wondering what do we do? THIS video.... I love it. We had pre-looked at some things to do but someone reccommended this video and I'm SO GLAD we checked it out. Great video. And I love your suggestions and thoughts as you go through the video. I know this probably took a lot of effort and I am grateful for all the time and energy you put into it! Thanks! We are heading there now!
Hello? The Glacier National Park are so nice. This hiking trip have an amazing scenery. Thank you so much for your hard work and the wonderful sharing! Have a great day 😊👍🏻👍🏻
At Avalanche Lake, you can take the trail all the way to the back of the lake and walk through the streams from the waterfalls pouring into the lake..the lake is much deeper at that end and the water is freezing! :) Iceberg Lake is my favorite and we saw our first grizzly there! Looking forward to hike Ptarmigan Tunnel when the snow melts! Thank you for the video!
Excellent video and information! Thank you for sharing and giving such detailed descriptions. My wife and I really enjoy your videos. We have been to Glacier twice before and will be visiting the park next month. Grinnell Glacier hike and Highline trail hike are at the top of our hiking to do list.
I was in Glacier in late August into September of 2021 as well, maybe we saw each other:-). I have been to the park many times, 14 I think, and I will never tire of it. This is a great video and I'm sure it will help many people with their planning. Happy future travels.
Thanks so much for your comment! Wow 14 times!! I wish we lived closer and could visit more often, it is an incredible park and I don't think I would ever get tired of it either!

A bear's olfactory sense is 1000x more powerful than that of a bloodhound! I don't think I would have the guts to have lunch out there! All it takes is one very hungry bear 🐻 . Beautiful video though!
Yep those grizzly bears have strong noses! We saw a few of them during our time and they left us alone. It is a very wild place but beautiful! Thanks for your comment!

What a great place! Thank you for this gorgeous views and very useful information! I really hope that some day I could visit this Park by myself :) Thumbs up!
I have been researching GNP for a few years now. Of all the videos I have watched this is the most informative and easy to watch video I have seen. I’m looking forward to our trip to GNP this fall! Well done! Thank you!
When we were visiting last year, it seemed like the best way to get a ticket was to book online in advance a few days before you want to ride. glacierparkboats.com/tours-rentals/many-glacier Here is the reservation info!
What you refer to as 'Pretty Lakes' is officially referred to as 'The North Fork', named for the river that forms the western border of the park (North Fork of the Flathead River).
we hiked the trail of the cedars to avalanche lake stunning. at that time they were warning about a mountain lion. this was years ago. its achievable by most. did in July. cheryl coleman.
Absolutely stunning park! I’ve never seen a grizzly bear in the wild, I would definitely be a bit nervous too. I’m a huge fan of the alpine lakes, I definitely need to plan a visit next year

Just watched your video. We’re going to Glacier next week for the first time. My wife and I are healthy 70 year olds. We plan on taking a red bus and a boat tour. Are there any easy hikes to one of the lakes? Anything else you might recommend for us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and Thank You for the informative video.
Thanks for watching, have a wonderful time in Glacier NP! If you are on the western side of the park, you might enjoy the hike to Avalanche Lake (about 6 miles roundtrip, 757' elevation gain)! www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/montana/avalanche-lake--6 From Logan Pass Visitor Center in the central part of the park, we enjoyed the 3 mile roundtrip hike to an overlook of Hidden Lake: www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/montana/hidden-lake-overlook In the western side of the park, this trail looks nice, but we have not personally hiked the full route: www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/montana/johns-lake-loop (It also looks like part of this route may be closed to fire right now). Absolutely Fabulous Video work and editing Would love know what software you used. I been doing the types of videos for years, but have not posted anything
This was a great and very comprehensive video about this wonderful National Park, my dear friends. 👏👌 I love all the breathtaking views of the mountains and all the wildlife that can be observed there. The Grizzly Bears were for sure a highlight, but also a bit intimidating. 😉All these lakes are so beautiful that it is difficult to pick a favourite one. This is one of the best Parks I have seen thus far. And you are doing a fantastic job presenting all of them to us in such an exciting way. See you in your next video. All best wishes, Michael.
Hi if I purchase only vehicle pass , can I enter park before 6am without the park pass ? We did that in Rocky Mountains I wonder if that is possible at Glacier Park. Thank you
We saw grizzlies almost every day on the eastern side of the park, and encountered one while hiking in the Many Glacier area. It seemed like the grizzly bears like the area east of Logan Pass and the black bear are more commonly seen on the western side of Logan Pass.
We’re staying at West Glacier RV park mid August 2022. What are your thoughts about my wife and I riding our ebikes on Going to the Sun road? Something I’ve always wanted to do. Some people say it’s way to dangerous but some say it’s great. Your thoughts?
Hi David! That would be quite the workout and a fun adventure! There are some restrictions for the time you are allowed to be on a bike on GTTSR - here is a link on the park site with more info if you haven't had a chance to check that out yet: www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/bicycling.htm There are a lot of winding sections with steep drop-offs with no shoulder (particularly from The Loop to Logan Pass), so just be super careful when you bike! I also remember seeing bicyclists putting their bikes on the shuttle and riding the shuttle back after bicycling part of GTTSR - so that is an option too! Have a great time and be safe!
You broke the park up into 6 sections. When I go to a park I generally do the same and spend a day or so in each section. Are there any sections that you would devote more than a day to or combine to do multiple in a day. We like to explore
Thanks for your comment! I enjoyed the Many Glacier area the most because there are a good amount of long day hikes in that area, so when I get the chance to come back I want to spend a few days there.
Having watched your celebration of the Glacier National Park I am pretty sure that the list of great things to do there could be a lot longer. It looks like an awesome area and watching gives me wanderlust and the wish to visit the area one day in the future. The idea that you can easily spot bears is quite a thing! So a well made movie about the park and quite an inspiration to watch - it makes the mountains in my area look not so impressive:-)
A well documented video of Glaciers NP. We're planning a trip here this coming June 2023 and this definitely helped. Thank you!
