Your photography is excellent per usual! 👌 I'd have a hard time choosing with just 3 days in Glacier. I've been six times, and hiked 72 miles over seven days in 2022 --including two summits-- and still have multiple bucket listers I've yet to check off (Gunsight Pass is near the top of my list). You'd need two weeks minimum to see and experience every incredible hike this park has to offer. I've been to Banff, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Grand Canyon, North Cascades, Mt. Rainier, Sequoia, Smoky Mountains, etc. All are special. None can top Glacier. It will always be my number one! 😍
@dr.dylan123 Most would rank Banff over Glacier. Banff is amazing, no doubt. I'm still a Glacier guy. And I've never done backcountry hiking in Glacier. Research Stoney Indian Pass, Cosley Lake, Margaret Lake... Brown Pass and Boulder Pass. 😍😲🤯 Mind blowing mountains!?! 🩵
@@greatestshow99 Yeah, only mountains I've ever been to were all in Colorado, so I haven't been to any of those national parks you listed, but Glacier does look to be possibly the best from looking at photos and google earth. I will go to Glacier someday though, and I'm going to North Cascades next summer!
@dr.dylan123 Nice on the Cascades! That park is in my top five in the U.S., along with Glacier, Yosemite, Yellowstone, and the Tetons. I would say the Cascades are the most unknown and underrated of all of the parks! If you're able and they're not already on your list, research Sahale Glacier/Cascade Pass (super strenuous but mind blowing) and Maple Pass. Enjoy!
Some of my favorites! If we had better conditions at Iceberg Lake I might choose that over the Cracker Lake, but tough to say because we didn't have great conditions at either
Mill Castle Trail looks like such a hiden gem! The rock formations are really unique, and the whole area between Gunnison and Crested Butte is just stunning. Beaver Ponds seems like a great spot too - definently adding these hikes to my list if I'm ever get to visit Colorado. Thanks for sharing! What a lovely video 😍
What is “booking in advance”? I’m planning on going sometime this summer around the first week of June is that enough time? I know parks like sequoia and Yellowstone. Can take up to 8-12 months
gotta put that reservation in the video for going to the sun road I drove up there from Denver not knowing you needed one only to find out you have to reserve 2 days in advance and you can't buy there
This national park is beautiful but since it has unpredictable weather patterns , tricky accommodations and closing off some roads discourages me to explore it since have never done camping in the wild
How early should I arrive at Logan? Pass? Are shorts appropriate for early morning hikes or is it cool in the morning? Leaving next week for Glacier...
It's so hard to say an exact time. When we did the highline trail, we parked at Logan Pass at like 415am and we were the first ones on the trail. I'd say before 8am you're probably good to find parking, but the earlier the better to be honest, plus you'll avoid the crowds. Also, I'm not an afternoon hiker, but I imagine the parking has open spots in the afternoon after the morning hikers have left. I wore shorts on the highline trail but it was during a heat wave. Check out mountain forecast for your hikes the night before, I hope this helps!

Wow! Even chose it over Banff, awesome haha we're lucky to have this park in our country then!

@greatestshow99 okay awesome thank you!
personal top3 trail: highline、grinnell glacier、cracker lake must go: many glacier hotel

Mill Castle is so awesome and underrated! Thanks for watching and enjoying the channel!
Awesome video and beautiful cinematography
Thank you!!
Kevin coming in for the clutch just before my upcoming trip in September 👌
Love to hear that! Have a great time!
Loveee Glacier!
It’s the best!
I will be eager to explore the best parts of Utah you explored like bentonite hills , factory buttee, Bryce national park , etc
That's going to be an awesome trip!
Such a beautiful park !
Great memories there and the KOA campground haha
Cool informative video. Still though, a trip to Glacier National Park without doing a summit like Mt. Siyeh would be a fail lol
It’s on my list! I really want to climb Siyeh. Thanks for watching!

So sorry to hear that. There are some loopholes like getting in the park early or non-peak times/locations. I should have added you're right
Nice, but isn't there a timed reservation for going on the sun?
Yeah for crowd control. But it opens up like 2 days before your intended arrival so you will be able to get in at your preferred time.
Thanks! And yes, just needs some planning ahead of time, and it's worth noting that it's only for certain hours of the day
For sure!
This national park is beautiful but since it has unpredictable weather patterns , tricky accommodations and closing off some roads discourages me to explore it since have never done camping in the wild
Fair enough, the weather can definitely be tricky up here. Worth it though!

Great video, but you forgot one crucially important and pain in the ass aspect, timed entry vehicle reservations.
Definitely, we have avoided this on our many trips here, but definitely a head ache during peak season and peak hours
Cracker lake trail is ruined by horse crap
Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge!
Ruined is a very strong word. Minor inconvenience. That hike is all about the destination! 🩵
