Then you'll have over 350 more National park locations across the country. Thanks for taking us on the hikes as I am disabled and unable to hike myself
Good video! I had the privilege of driving Bus #86 back in 1975. The buses had manual transmissions, no power brakes or power steering. And we used hand-held microphones. The current drivers have it a lot easier than we did. BUT, Best summer ever!! I return whenever possible and just did back in July.
I worked on wildfires for over 30 years in the Pacific Northwest. I have been qualified for many positions on the fireline and as part of a fire team. From 1985-2018.
Debbie is my mom!! They love doing these tours, she told me had been on your video. Great job and thanks for giving her son another chance to see her!! :)
We loved spending the day with your Mom!! She's so talented! So glad you were able to see our video and virtually hang out with her 🥰🙌
I stayed at a cabin at Apgar village for almost a full week in 2022. I did avalanche lake, trail of the cedars, red bus ride/ going to the sun road, a boat ride on the east side, etc. , I can’t imagine just spending a few days. I love the places you featured. I did not want to leave.
Thank you. Breathtaking scenery.
Thanks for another great video. ❤
Those are some beautiful views.
great informational video as always. Thanks Don
My favorite National Park!! ❤❤
That place looks gorgeous!!!!That red bus tour looks so cool!
Your guide was excellent!!!
Great video! I love Glacier, it was fun seeing all those beautiful spots again, and the awesome mountain goats.
Nice video of your Glacier visit. Thanks for sharing.
Love seeing our national parks through your eyes. We had the pleasure of backpacking to Gunsight Lake and watching Grisslies on the mountain side as we ate our dinner. Lookig forward to more of your videos.
Still liking this series. Another great episode. Thanks From Wisconsin
Once again well done. You covered our favorite NP perfectly. I LOVE how you include special meals too. We always stop to enjoy a meal too and it really shouldn’t be missed. Thank you once again. Now we are off to Maine!
We were surprised to hear you are returning the Vista so soon! More info!coming soon?
And we are LOVING this travel series!! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!! ❤
Can’t wait to hear why you are going back into your camper. We misunderstood and thought you had the national parks addition RV. For all national parks. At any rate we love how you deliver the story line and how you teach us all these wonderful things about every place you visit. Stay well and we can’t wait to see much more. ❤️
Very pretty! Thanks!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching! 🥰
Yes, I remember just how beautiful Glacier is, and you’ve really reinforced it! Thank you! Can’t wait to return some day soon. What I remember is pulling off the road where everyone was obviously looking at something…an absolutely HUGE Grizzly bear in the distance, BUT, he was so big he just stood out so clearly…especially when he stood on his hind legs, sniffing the air. He stood half as tall as the trees around him! Such a majestic animal. Oh, you two are having so much fun! Wish we were with you, as you take us to so many beautiful nd interesting places…plus, always giving me my big, silly Sunday grins! Take care, many thanks,& love to you, Virginia
Just found your channel, and am a huge fan already! You two are excellent vloggers! Positive, informative, and overall just a great video! I subscribed and will be checking out your other videos. Thanks for sharing!
Love this park! Thinking we have to go back after watching your video! Thank you for sharing!
It's amazing! Definitely a park that you can visit multiple times and find something new to enjoy. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
those buses are amazing, I think there are some at gettysburg too. thanks for a great video, hopefully one day and not on a train we will get there.
This is truly a Grand park. I have been twice but going to the sun road was not fully open, either due to snow or road work and the red busses where not running either time. Im trying to get back late August this year. Always interesting videos. Also on my avalanche trail had a black bear cross the trail in front of me. Thanks
A friend from 1st grade on camp hosts at Apgar! That lake, the waterfalls, the water color - wow! But that road… 🤣
OMG so so beautiful. Actually brought tears to my eyes. ❤
🥹❤️ it really is that amazing!! So glad you enjoyed this one Dave! 🥰
@@NewstateNomads it was awesome. Thank you❤️
Glacier National park is beautiful!! I absolutely love the red buses. Who doesn’t love goats 🐐❤️❤️. You are a great driver Howard, that was a tight squeeze. The marmot was too cute.I never knew about glacier dust, and it makes the teal colour!! Unfortunately we know about the devastation of fires, still many burning in Quebec, and many other provinces. Very glad they have recovered from the fires.Such a beautiful area,so many things to do.Thank you for this wonderful video. Take care.Big hugs for the puppies.❤️❤️🇨🇦
The goats were amazing and so cute. I didn't get to see the marmot until I reviewed the footage Howard shot and omg he was so cute too! Ah yes, wildfires are so scary 😩 last time we were at Glacier, it was so smoky from fires out west! So glad you enjoyed this one! 🥰❤️ -Katelyn
Great video!
Thanks so much for watching it! 😊
Lucky for you the wind didn't start blowing as close as you were to that tree
Great job on a brief overview of one of our most amazing national treasures. Just left there myself and could almost never pull into any of the pull outs on the GTS road. However, we went back in the evening hours and it was much less crowded. FYI: it doesn’t get dark until almost 10PM !! Just curious how many months ahead are you guys having to book the parks. I have yet to get into one for camping !!
Our favorite park we love the trail to Iceberg Lake!
We definitely wish we had time to do that hike, it looks amazing from the photos we've seen! Next time 😍
That’s a great looking park. Definitely seems worth the tour, I’m not sure about that drive up in my RV 😂. Yeah that was a tight spot but you made it work 👍🏼 great video 😊
It really is amazing! 😍 Haha well they have a length restriction of 21 feet. I can't remember your exact length but if you're over that, you don't even have to worry because you can't drive it 🤣 they do have free shuttles as an alternative to the Red Busses!
That bus has my name wrote all over it. My next daily driver.
Very nice video. Was the Park Smokey when you went from all the fires?
Great video. Love your upbeat vibe. A couple of questions related to dogs. I travel with 2 big dogs. Do you leave your doggie in the RV for 8+ hours while on the tour? And can you mention whether the trails you are recommending allow dogs? Thanks!
I SAW YOU I WAS THE teen next to you at the overlook
That's awesome! Which overlook or timestamp of the video? Glad you found us! 👍 -Howard
I was at the Logan pass it was on my my to the over look of hidden falls
Tight campsite equals pull out the chainsaw. I am sure they wouldn't mind. Thanks again for sharing.
I'm surprised that you had nothing to eat with Huckleberries. And FYI, Wild Goose Island is near St. Mary, not West Glacier.
Given that you guys were on the “long trip”…what did you do to protect your dogs?

if you play yahtzee, there is a national park game.
I’m only here because of The Shining
what would you say is the best time to go.
Mid July to Mid August
Can you bring kids in that red bus? Thanks!
Yes! They have a cute "Junior Jammer" program for little ones. Similar to Junior Rangers but Jammers are what the drivers are called. ☺️
🏔️
Am I mistaken, I thought the NPS made filming in NP's illegal without a permit? Hopefully, that law was overruled, or the NPS thought better of their decision.
She mentioned getting permits in a prior video, along with her process & spreadsheet keeping track - can’t remember which video it was in though.
@@TravelSmallLiveBig thanks, I'll look for that video.
@@RocksOff72 it was several videos ago - maybe around their Joshua Tree visit? Wish I could remember! But they do get permits.
Anything over 27ft isn’t going to fit easily in the NP
