Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse Funhouse) joins us this week to give the ins and outs of what it’s like to be one of the forefathers of modern cartoon voice acting through classic recognizable roles in Balto, Aladdin, Winnie the Pooh, and more! Jim pulls back the curtain, sharing unique tools to the trade that helped advance his career; plus the secret to his tenured success in this industry. We also talk about the inspiration for memorable characters throughout his career, the nerves of working with Steven Spielberg on Balto, and the origins of his legacy as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.
Kudos to Lou. In the 70's it was a great time. Kiss, Foreigner, Journey, Eagles, Ac/Dc , etc. Too many great bands, so little time.
Peter Criss used a deep snare on Love Gun and Alive 2.
I didn't know Lou played drums. That's freaking cool. It'll be great seeing the band together at the Hall of Fame induction
I think we need another comment pointing out that Kiss was on Casablanca, go…!
lol right and Foreigner was on JET RECORDS
kiss was on casablanca records not capitol
On Casablanca until 1982. Mercury after that, starting with the Lick It Up album in 1983.
@@Michael----- congrats you’re a KISStard.
@@Michael----- That wasnt his point tho
Thought KISS was on Casablanca Records, not Capitol.
Caught that too...
They were. Lou got it mixed up.
At 1:32 Im pretty sure, he is referencing Simon Kirke from Free/Bad Company who was put in the band (drums) because he could sing. Frank Walton, their original drummer was replaced (and he put Kirke forward for the group).
KISS was never on Capital Records
Lou Gramm is a legend! 🙌🏽
Thank goodness the band was ok and in retrospect Lou’s destiny was on another trajectory🙂
Kiss wasn't on Capitol Records. They were on Casablanca Records.
So call the HOST😏
Hi Michael, just watched this clip at 12:42pm, Sunday, August 25th. There are 6 comments, and 5 of them are bots, thought you might be able to address that with RUclips.
Point them out 😎
Great story
you should interview billy squier. on how that one video ruined his career. never been anything like it
Kiss was never on Capital records. He meant Casablanca
I like the interviewing style of the guy sitting on the right. Just listening to Lou and not blurring out little inflections like Yeah Right... or That's Not Happening... This guy didn't even know Black Sheep had two albums.
Great Studio 👌 What's the deal with the guy in the corner 🤔
He's useless. Just a BUFFER
.. had a 16 inch Tom tom, ..
..Gene Simmons had a sixteen inch Tongue tongue, ..😂
I love your podcast… Lou Gramms a legend and the camera is off …. Nobody checks the equipment before the interview unprofessional… I hope you have him on again 😞
Is your name a Jerry Lewis Disorderly Orderly homage?
Boston Orpheum Theatre. Not Academy of Music.
Must of been the Alive Tour.
Very similar to Chris Cornell.
What's up with Capital Records? Why in the world couldn't the label get Black Sheep rental equipment and instruments while the insurance company worked everything out? The fact Capitol couldn't solve the issue so Black Sheep could continue opening for KISS is beyond stupid. You know damn well Capital had so much money and connections, they could've replaced ALL their equipment in a heartbeat.
Not sure what lessons were learned, if any, but even so, nothing about learning some kind of lessons had anything at all to do with KISS.
Kiss had great opening acts. Were very nice to them all
I must've missed the lesson learned
Hahaha standing ovation at a kiss show? Kiss was on Casablanca not capital.
The lesson learned here is never judge a video by his title
I didn't hear any "lessons learned." Did I miss something?
Sorry Lou. KISS was never on Capital Records. Casablanca.
“Lessons Learned Openeing…”??? Click bait Bullshit. Please.
Kiss sucks.
You suck 😂
Snzzzzz man he is boring¡!!!!!!!
KISS was on Casablanca Records. Not ever Capital Records. Fact
What about all the criminals Trump pardon?
