I’ve got Wilt, up front with Larry and LeBron.
Magic and MJ in the backcourt. That’s 82-0 right there…
Larry Bird is the greatest forward to ever play the game
That's debatable.
@@scottdavidson7001 No its not
@@panzerlambert1194 yes it is.
Mark Cianfarani LMFAOOO no one thinks this
He's not the best forward lol he's not even the best small forward. Overall Lebron is the best forward to ever grace the game, and hes the best small forward as well. THEN Tim Duncan.... and then Bird. Bird could never carry a team the way LeBron has season after season. You put lebron on that 80's Celtic team, GREATEST TEAM ALL TIME. Now put bird on the 2015 cavs and tell me what happens?? No kyrie, no love, just bird, dellavedova, and Tristan Thompson lol cmon. I love Larry but never. Never will he be better than Bron. Maybe Timmy D, but bron is too far lol.
Love this interview. Really loved how Larry thanked Dan at the end for having him on. Truly a humble guy and an entertaining one as well.
Larry Bird was a great player, and seems like a pretty cool guy !! I loved watching the Celtics in the eighties !!!
greatest ever...
He is top 5 ever. But not the best. Coming from a Bird s fan.
oh I know, Larry is the absolute best.
Larry is trash
you know you just described yourself in one word, right logan?
Larry Legend easily better than Lebron
Best shooter in NBA history. Great rebounder ,Bird averaged for his career 10 boards a game, just to put that in perspective SHAQ averaged 10.9 boards career a game. No doubt one of the TOP 5 to ever play the game.
Wilt the Stilt averaged 20+rbs for his careet
@@aarondigby5054 Yep he did. Not sure what that has to do with Bird
I love most how Dan REALLY gets into his guests' personal stories like the BBQ story. Dan's face lights all the way up when Bird started telling a personal story like the BBQ story
I graduated from Indiana State in 1976- just missed Bird. Then we lived in the Boston area during the Bird years. Bird is a great story- and one of the all time basketball greats.
Ive been searching utube for an interview with larry for a while now a full one not just a few minutes and this is the first ive found ive come across a ton of other players talking about larry specifically his trash talking so to find this im so grateful thank you for sharing
I've listen to segment with Dan and Larry many times. I just enjoy listening to Larry, he's got great humor and Dan you can tell is having fun too.
You will never replicate the 80's Lakers vs. Celtics.....the most physical game the NBA has ever seen.
it was that era where "every basket was a battle"
I knew a man for the young years of my life, in Sacramento, California. His name was Bob Burns and he was a part of the Sacramento Police Department for many years. He was very southern sounding like Larry Bird and they had very similar personalities. I instantly remembered Bob after hearing Larry Legend speak. Crazy how life works.
Bird has changed so much from his interviews in the 1980's
I think this was probably closer to how he was in the locker room or in the summmer
I could listen to him talk all day.
The only all time great I know of that understood it was a game.
Larry Bird confidence will always be there. I like listening to Larry or stories about Larry. Legendary for sure.
