Great ! Do you always put bath first and then tile on top? What’s the disadvantage of tiling slightly below bath line and then adding bath ? I figure it’s easier to use a step to tile rather than clambering about in bath but I’m new to this.
Bath in first, fill bath and seal, tile and grout, fill bath and seal. The process is about getting a water tight seal on the bath. If you sit the bath against the tiles you won’t benefit from a double seal.
Cracking job! Impressive
That's great, damn hopefully I can find a good bathroom fitter in London with that level of detail
Those mitres are impressive on that gold trim. How did you get them so nice ?
All in one day, that good going! What model Rubi is that cutter?
Not in one day, maybe 15 years ago! 😂😂 it’s a TX - 1250.

@ Thanks ! What adhesive do you recommend (on plaster old tiles removed ) I’ve a shower above bath ?
@@douglasalexander4348 I use Kelmore for all of my tiling.
hi , is the yellow walls at the bath just a painted wall or have you done some form of tanking waterproofing?, cheers
Hi, yes, it’s a waterproof membrane. I have made a video on how to install it.
Hi Rob what type of notched trowel is that your using?
Hi mate, it’s a Vitrex 20mm notched trowel, I think from Topps. 👍🏻
