So everybody was on soul train dancing they butts off for free?! And most of them did it for yearsss!!! That’s crazy lol
People still do stuff for free today in order to get into the industry...a lot of people do stuff they don’t get credit for...a favor for a favor...in the 70s and 80s white people didn’t mess with us so it was extremely hard to break into the business....
@@ThunderKat2012 no way this would happen to this extent today though. People do stuff for free a few times for exposure, not every week for 10 years faithfully like it was their job.
They got into the club free plus they got chicken; what more could they asked for?

It’s surprising to hear that the dancers didn’t get paid. I mean like dam, they bring the energy, they ARE soul train 🚂
No paycheck? Bye! 👋🏻
Did they just get free entrance?
Why pay for what you can get for free?
They were they Train in Soul Train, and didn't get paid? Ugghh, the greed.
Probably a lot of people watched the show to see the beautiful ladies like Sally. Its messed up that they didn't get paid.
Can we get a interview of the girl who left her hanging at the door? Lmao I wonder what level she made it to with that attitude 👀
I was thinking the same thing. Man talk about dog eat dog, that was cold ❄️
Her look. Physique, beauty was just outstanding.

Sally is so gracious and sweet especially after how she was initially treated by the girl who left her the gate. This is a perfect example of "what is for you, will always be for you". 😊

p robinson, awesome. I would have loved to have dance on Soul Train. What are the Years that you were on Soul Train. I've watched many of Dancer's on Soul Train, during the 1970s & 1980s that never did get any recognition. For their dancing and their fabulous Wardrobe Attire🤦🏾♀️
