The only thing KMCA is saying is that New Jeans needs to do it the LEGAL way. They can't just say they're ending their contracts, there needs to be checks and balances for these things. And there are striking and eerie similarities between Newjeans and Fifty Fifty case (producer manipulating a girlgroup and their families to go against their company, coaxing them, claiming cases of abuse...). It does set a precedence on what these contracts even mean if artists can so easily get out of them. New Jeans are trying to get out the easy way and avoid legal fines, but if their case is really as strong as they claim, they need to provide evidence of how exactly Hybe/Ador has validated the contract.
but they did do it legally in their contracts it says for them to state the demands and wait 14 days for a response or resolution if not they can terminate it especially bc ador violated the terms of their contract
NJ cant be hinting at a new comeback, under Korean law, until a court rules on the validity of their contract with ADORE, any activities they undertake separate from ADORE would be tortious and make them liable to pay damages etc. and any company that worked with them would be a joint tortfeasor and would also be liable to be sued for damages etc.

The JYJ law does not apply here, because tampering is considered a justified cause. To everyone saying that Hybe probably paid the KMCA off, let's be real. Hybe is the 7th biggest company on the council. Do you really think Sony, Universal and Warner music would take a bribe, when they own 70% of the global music shares.I genuinely don't think any of these companies are going to risk a bribery charge for a groups that aren't even their's. And it seems to me that it's even good that the idols themselves deny them, cuz it’s good to see that idols can protect themselves without their company (cuz many haters believe that they are nothing without company). why didn’t the KMCA release a statement when burning sun was going on? Why don’t they talk about the dark side of Kpop like dieting or very long working hours? Why didn’t they comment on KG and JYP issues or when goo hara and sulli killed themselves??
Because, KMCA isn't an artist company. They are not responsible for anything that you have said. Their job is about contracts and the relationship between artists and company, and how those business relationships work. It's not their job to get involved in criminal cases, what kpop companies tell their idols to do, what kpop idols do to themselves (btw KG is under JYP USA and JYP USA has nothing to do with a Korean association) and make public statements for everyone. They are only responsible for contracts between artists and companies, music, charts, award shows etc.

@@nasraabdi7801 the contract was signed between Newjeans and Ador with MHJ as CEO. As MHJ is no longer the CEO, Ador still holds the contract and the new CEO knows the content of that contract
The problem is that newjeans and bunnies think they are above the law and this pisses me off Just because you sold a million copies of your album and got lucky enough to debut under a big company and got good promotions, doesn't mean they are above the general public and above the law and that's why huge associations are speaking up No one in the real world, a 9-5 worker for example just expect to stop showing up to their work one day and then publicly talk bad about company, get a new job all without terminating their contract with the company, especially in a country like Korea, there is a chance that the person could actually not find jobs after this since reputation and job history is really important in korea So do you see how it's so hypocritical of newjeans to do this? Besides, now companies WILL make contracts super stirct because of the stunt newjeans are pulling cause otherwise the industry would collapse so they are not doing good for anyone, most groups who are under bad companies probably don't have the money or power or solid enough fandom to actually leave their companies, just like gaeun from maiden, she literally got SAed and no one cared, this was happening the same time and newjeans but most of the people saying the care about mistreatment ,didn't even care enough to talk about gaeun, so no they are not doing and good for these idols and if anything they are making it worse cause companies don't wanna lose investors The investors, invest money into the company and a predebut group, expecting long term, specificly a 7 year, interest and benefit and newjeans can't just say that they "already payed back what the investors spent" cause the investors, everywhere around the world, dont want to just loan money to groups or companies and then get it payed back, they want additional money, just like getting a loan from the bank, you also pay interests This is why I say newjeans fans are either choosing trying to block all the facts because the like the girls or are truly so young that they have never gotten a real job or had to deal with consequences
They provide the guidelines for K-pop award shows, including recommendations for safety measures and fair criteria for awardees. They're the main administrative body of K-pop promotion.
Groups also can't annex their companies without the court allowing their contracts to be broken. As the statement said, unless NJs is willing to go to court or correct their prior statement, they cannot continue to legally say they are no longer part of ADOR, which falls under the jurisdiction and moderation of the KCMA.
They shouldn't exclude groups or artists from the get go. Companies like Hybe and others listed in the KMCA don't own the K-pop industry, the fans do. Without the fans, there is no Hybe or other companies. We should NEVER give them the power to act like a monopoly.

I remember when you had a member of NSYNC that hope that the same thing they went through would not happen in kpop. I guess KPOP had to take both bad and good sides of kpop.
I could be totally wrong but I think the emotes Hanni showed had to do with NewJeans seasons greeting. This is all so heartbreaking... I'm torn between wanting to support the members, kinda not thinking what they are doing is a smart idea, but also wanting them getting some justice, not liking neither MHJ nor Hybe, and just needing more Music from them, cause I LOVE their Sound 😅
I understand but I think what they’re doing is actually very smart and calculated, in their contract it states that if Ador or Hybe violate the terms of their contracts newjeans should bring forward the complaints and give the company a 14 day period to correct or talk with them to resolve the violations and if they company doesn’t respond or attempt to start resolving the problem/violation newjeans can legally terminate their contract which they did. And the reason they didn’t bring forward a lawsuit is because like angelina stated in one of her other RUclips videos that if newjeans brings forward a lawsuit it’ll be on them to prove that ador violated their contract which we can see ador is very good yet shameless at covering their tracks as we saw with the footage ador deleted of the manager telling illit to ignore hanni which they claimed the footage naturally deletes after 30 days yet all the other clips were in tact. So now that ador has brought forward a lawsuit it’ll be on Ador to prove newjeans violated their contract. As a person studying law in this case it’ll be easier for newjeans to defend themselves in court rather than try to prove all the violations

It's particularly the contract termination thing. As for the tampering, the employee said the girls requested to contact advertisers and that the employee was only a messenger. Either way, it's done without the knowledge of ador. Theres also another news about the girls planning to open a family owned company, which i dont think its allowed to, considering it hadn't confirmed the validity of their contract terminagion.
The Korean Kpop industry has its major issues and faults. That being said as an outsider, New Jeans members entered into legal contracts that they all likely clearly reviewed with families and their lawyers at said time. Now they are breaching their contracts with generic allegations against HYBE and caught in the controversy with Min Hee-Jin. These young unedumacated girl band of five hold a press conference without legal representation was laughable. The sad part is what I suspect is a form of Stockholm syndrome with Min Hee-Jin being the true suppressor of these oblivious girls.
I’m starting to think these negative comments about MHJ or breaking contracts are actually just bots from Hybe or another label. There is no way that after all of the countless RUclips deep dives about the dark side of the kpop industry & the discussions of slave contracts that people are suddenly on the side of the company!!
New jeans def had the most potential to make it big out of all recent GGs similar to blackpink and twice these drama ruined it if it wasn't for that maybe hybe would have had their biggest GG till now bigger than Le sserafim since New jeans is more loved globally compared to them but drama between hybe and MHJ ruined it quite a big loss for both i would say altho not big loss for hybe but still even if they are able to produce other ones like Nj at least if there were no drama maybe they would've had 2 big GG and 2 is better than 1
I cant imagine they would record anything now. Usually in contracts anything planned, created or even imagined while under employment becomes IP of the company they are contracted to. If they record or do anything now like their performances for instance, there is a prrtty good chance the IP and all earnings related to it would belong to ador. Why now they (KCMA) are making noise now when these artists were shouting for help? Is KCMA biased to agencies? Are being funded by agencies? Last time a studied contracts is between 2 parties. Why criticize only one side of the contract?

Even with the VCHA case now? Why is the outrage not the same? Why are there significantly less articles and public outcry? Because it's not your group that's being mistreated that's why.. so you should really all just say "i am against mistreatment but only if it's done to my group even if there is no solid evidence "

Because they are hurting the company in the process. The company will train the artist and do everything to make them famous then the producer and artist will get majority of the reward by leaving the company
Because they lied to break the contract. KMCAs argument is no one should lie to get out of a contract they signed it ruins the industry. Especially if companies are investing in you and giving you a platform and once you get it you make up some story in order to get out of the contract but maintain the platform. You shouldn't get to keep the platform. The producers are lying to the artists and their families who end up creating some BS in order to break their contract out of greed and "earn better" without making proper restitution. That is bad faith - hence why you negotiate your contract and if you don't agree go to crt or pay penalties.

I don't care how you label it, this is a failure of the music industries side. These are two artists with major worldwide blockbuster success that the company hindered because they are not ready for that level of success and what comes from it and what to expect from artists of that caliber. At the end of the day, they fucked up their own business by not satisfying money printer artists because they were too beholden to Korean cultural norms to evolve their business and maximize profits. Their job is to make money and they failed and continue to see this failure across all major Korean entertainment industries. Jyp is the latest.
But they aren't. They are trying to protect the people who work hard to make artists successful. The artist then reaps all the benefits while those who worked hard to make them successful are left in the dust
@ Artists needs protection. What KCMA should do is listen to the artists, instead of controlling how artist should act so as not to disrupt their customary ways. Artists work the hardest to please everybody, from management, advertisers, and down to the fans. Artists also invest their diligence, self-discipline, energy, life. Artists are the main characters, and agencies are there to support.
@all-about-Haerin To insist that artists are more valuable than the company is absolutely ludicrous. A group like NJ only has 5 members. That group needs stylists, choreographers, videographers, vocal coaches, producers, dance teachers, make-up artists, managers and so many more people to make them who they are. To insist that these 5 girls take president over all those other employees is horrible. Just because you only see how NJ are hurting doesn't mean that other people aren't. When I say the company, these are the people I am talking about. People who went to school and have dedicated their lives to make art. These people are just as important as those girls and they should also be protected. I know you like to think of a company like some distant entity but it is made up of people who work tirelessly to make your favourite artists who they are. They, too, deserve respect and protection as much as the next person.
@Blodhelm I am not saying that. I do not care for the CEOs, CFOs and the other higher ups of a company. I am thinking about all the other employees of the company. If that is wrong, then so be it. But you cannot pretend that they are not working for a living and need these jobs.
Angelina can you be clearer with your comments. Ador is not the issue here, it’s NJ and MHJ trying to get out of a contract without paying a dime to the company that invested on them. 1. The Importance of Neutrality • Taking sides or leveraging fandom can raise questions about fairness, potentially leading to a loss of trust from fans and the public. 2. Contract Issues and Legal Processes • Contracts are legally complex, and disputes often involve long and costly battles. • Filing for an injunction or terminating a contract can have severe consequences for both the artist and the company, so such actions are usually approached with caution. 3. Artists and Responsibility • The public expects artists to demonstrate sincerity and dedication. When those expectations are not met, disappointment and backlash are inevitable. 4. Newjeans finished!

The Importance of not being a Tool - Being a Tool and making sweeping statements based on conclusions without a logical basis makes you seem unstable. 2. Ducks are cool - Ducks are effectively waterproof and upsetting them can have dire consequences. 3. Your argument is finished! You need to work on your logic and support your assertions with facts, and understand your audience. This isn't Korea and we aren't judges or trade organizations bribed to agree with you. We'll listen to who we want and support who we want. I really feel for all the artists who are in these kind of positions, being treated poorly or as scapegoats while their companies do nothing to protect them OR are the reason the artists are receiving hate in the first place, but especially the younger ones. They should be protected, not be in the position of having to protect themselves with the odds (industry lobbyists/lawyers) stacked against them. :( 💔❤️🩹

So do you see how it's so hypocritical of newjeans to do this?
Besides, now companies WILL make contracts super stirct because of the stunt newjeans are pulling cause otherwise the industry would collapse so they are not doing good for anyone, most groups who are under bad companies probably don't have the money or power or solid enough fandom to actually leave their companies, just like gaeun from maiden, she literally got SAed and no one cared, this was happening the same time and newjeans but most of the people saying the care about mistreatment ,didn't even care enough to talk about gaeun, so no they are not doing and good for these idols and if anything they are making it worse cause companies don't wanna lose investors
The investors, invest money into the company and a predebut group, expecting long term, specificly a 7 year, interest and benefit and newjeans can't just say that they "already payed back what the investors spent" cause the investors, everywhere around the world, dont want to just loan money to groups or companies and then get it payed back, they want additional money, just like getting a loan from the bank, you also pay interests

New Jeans and MHJ are so freaking annoying, I can’t wait till they’re finally gone cuz I’m sick of that drama already.
I’m starting to think these negative comments about MHJ or breaking contracts are actually just bots from Hybe or another label. There is no way that after all of the countless RUclips deep dives about the dark side of the kpop industry & the discussions of slave contracts that people are suddenly on the side of the company!!
How come some of the bunnies still saying nj is not violate the contract? Do they following the shaman law? 🤣😂
New jeans def had the most potential to make it big out of all recent GGs similar to blackpink and twice
these drama ruined it if it wasn't for that maybe hybe would have had their biggest GG till now bigger than Le sserafim since New jeans is more loved globally compared to them
but drama between hybe and MHJ ruined it quite a big loss for both i would say
altho not big loss for hybe but still even if they are able to produce other ones like Nj
at least if there were no drama maybe they would've had 2 big GG
and 2 is better than 1
Rosa' did such a good job on the Tonight Show in U.S.
I cant imagine they would record anything now. Usually in contracts anything planned, created or even imagined while under employment becomes IP of the company they are contracted to. If they record or do anything now like their performances for instance, there is a prrtty good chance the IP and all earnings related to it would belong to ador. I would imagine they would wait until this injunction of Hybes has been confirmed by the court before risking creating something that will belong to Ador.

People are just assuming about NJ. Do we really know what the contract? Where was KCMA when Loona and Omega X are having problems with their agencies? Why now they (KCMA) are making noise now when these artists were shouting for help? Is KCMA biased to agencies? Are being funded by agencies? Last time a studied contracts is between 2 parties. Why criticize only one side of the contract?
but Loona and Omega X actually went the legal way and found to be mistreated, a clear difference with what new jeans are doing rn
Another difference is no third party was influencing the members to fight unlike 5050 with givers, exo-cbx with bpm and new jeans with mhj
Because loona and omega X had actual PROOF and did it LEGALLY so there was no need for kmca to step in.. i will throw the question back to you.. loona and omega x had actual proof of mistreatment so where were you "concerned netizens"? Even with the VCHA case now? Why is the outrage not the same? Why are there significantly less articles and public outcry? Because it's not your group that's being mistreated that's why.. so you should really all just say "i am against mistreatment but only if it's done to my group even if there is no solid evidence "

In the tampering statement explains that the producer is rhe one who coax, so why punish the artists ?
@@soojin_queen1077why are they not reacting when burning sun happened and didn’t blocklist all artist involved on burning sun
@ishay5414 Were they formed when burning sun happened? Also they might have been. Just because they didn't announce it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
@@ishay5414 Burning sun was celebrities involved in criminal cases, not artist vs company and no contact issues. KMCA's job is about contracts, relationships between artists and company and how those business relationships work. They are not responsible for celebrities getting involved in crimes nor it's their job to get involved in criminal cases.
Looks like NJ will get themselves blacklisted by Korean Music industry😂😂😂
I think it's super cringe for a guy to be tattooing pictures of guy groups on their legs, maybe I'm just old-fashioned but that's....uhh 😒🤦
I think the font needs to be a little smaller
Bigger font can't read the font on your shirt from here.
Finally, the voice of reason.
Perfect summary.
Kevin is just a cutie pie 😂❤ 20:28
Lol i feel like sims could have created more realistic aespa members
The likes of KCMA should be suspended or fined for promoting exclusion from shows the artists who are fighting for their rights.
@@soojin_queen1077 "Won't someone please think of the giant company that is being exploited by those dastardly idols!!!" - that's you.
Being offended from a comment by a manager is not enough to get out of a contract. Hanni and her emojis need to get back to where she came from!
She doesn't spread fake news.

1. The Importance of Neutrality
• Taking sides or leveraging fandom can raise questions about fairness, potentially leading to a loss of trust from fans and the public.
2. Contract Issues and Legal Processes
• Contracts are legally complex, and disputes often involve long and costly battles.
• Filing for an injunction or terminating a contract can have severe consequences for both the artist and the company, so such actions are usually approached with caution.
3. Artists and Responsibility
• The public expects artists to demonstrate sincerity and dedication. When those expectations are not met, disappointment and backlash are inevitable.
4. Newjeans finished!
@@mijungward2563 LOL the f*ck are you on about? We aren't a jury, or judges, we ARE the public. If New Jeans fans still like them, and trust them more than the company that tried to replace them, they'll be fine. You own argument in section 2(weirdo) detracts from your assessment's conclusion because you are assuming that the public will somehow be upset that they didn't file a lawsuit. Points 1 and 3 are also statements without facts to support them or are utterly irrelevant to this case. Here, I'll give you an example of how your form doesn't make an argument any better:
1. The Importance of not being a Tool
- Being a Tool and making sweeping statements based on conclusions without a logical basis makes you seem unstable.
2. Ducks are cool
- Ducks are effectively waterproof and upsetting them can have dire consequences.
3. People like artists more than greedy companies that repeatedly lie and try to abuse the legal system to get their way.
- The public expects companies to follow their own contracts and don't get angry at idols for leaving a crap company.
4. Your argument is finished!
You need to work on your logic and support your assertions with facts, and understand your audience. This isn't Korea and we aren't judges or trade organizations bribed to agree with you. We'll listen to who we want and support who we want. Whining about a so-called inevitable backlash because some artists are sticking up for themselves and you've decided that means they lack "sincerity and dedication," and you claim to speak on behalf of the public to members of the public who disagree with you, is pointless.

It's just a very bleak time, where you can see all the corporate greed, intentionally cruel attempts at sabotage/retaliation, and apathy about these forms of abuse that go on behind the scenes. I mean, I'm completely aware that these were always aspects of the industry, but... Seeing it all happen in the light of day, with no shame, and then for these people in high positions to act like it's all business as usual... It's very disillusioning. :( 💔❤️🩹
