Ateez is the group I feel is so authentic and unique. Hongjoong and the KQ team have had such unique concepts since the beginning and I'm always looking for someone who does "new" things
not me scrolling to find a comment hyping up ateez. they were the first to come to my mind when i think of authentic. when you watch their behind the scenes vids you can always tell how passionate they are about their work
@@swall1117 100% they are truly originals in the kpop industry. Just think about songs like Halazia, Crazy Form, Star 1117, Still Here, Outlaw, and Inception they pull off every genre so well
yes omg 100%! when i watch anything they do i can tell they’re so passionate about what they do. like clarence said i think they’re doing EXACTLY what they’re supposed to be doing.
Yes they were my first thought! Especially after seeing them on tour and the passion into just how the stages were designed/performed. It’s insane. This is truly what they LOVE to do.
when y'all mentioned authentic idols, svt was the first that came to mind 😭 gosh i forgot who said it but i rmbr a member shared that older idols (?) would ask them why they work so hard despite being almost a decade into their career and like?? u can really feel their love and passion for performing like GODD i will never grow tired of watching svt performances... they always look like theyre just having a blast !!!
i agree with the boys statement on them being passionate and it shows in their work! i would also put txt and seventeen in that category, and jihyo specifically for girls. she’s always gonna give
the more connection the fanbase has with the artist and making the songs mean more and making the albums longer would help a group. txt would have so much potential if bighit wasn't managing them to the highest extent.
STOP LITERALLY!!!!! the management is so limiting to them and it’s obvious… it’s made me start to feel less connected with them because they haven’t been able to be as genuine in some ways as they used to be 🥲🥲
The discussion about k pop artists coming into their own is the similar feel I get watching small inidie artists grow. I support my artist friend with sales of their original work at conventions. Seeing her slowly gain a ton of fans was heartwarming. I always love seeing them excitedly come to our booth wearing her clothes or talking about how they display her posters. I myself follow other small indie artists and now see then at big cons like Anime Expo! It's so cool to see the growth and genuine care they put into their work 😊
i agree that no one does it like bts, but for me one group that just inspires me so much is skz. like the way that they have been writing their own songs since predebut and how they are so into the choreography, recording, and even the performance aspect of everything they do 🙌🏽OMG AND DONT GET ME STARTED W SVT
I CAME HERE TO SAY THAT TOO I feel SKZ now is getting the kind of shit BTS had to go through of credibility/authenticity pushed to the side cause they're blowing up so big but their story is so deeply genuine and the way they continue to openly process/carry/act from lessons from it all (+so many other things) makes them feel so deeply like they are just meant to be doing what they're doing, and same for SVT foreal, Ateez too in my opinion
I agree sm about Bts being so different like I know a lot of people call them “basic” but I truly feel like they are so far away from that they passion and love they put into their craft is crazyyyyy! And the are some of the few idols that write and produce their music.
No literally my friend who likes kpop groups said they were mid. But it’s like you gotta dive into a group before you can make that assumption. I’ve been a fan of Bts for 6 years now. And they have completely blossomed into their next era of amazing music. Helping me out yet again with these difficult moments in my life. Without them I wouldn’t be here! Sorry for the paragraph
yeah!! i agree with the whole authenticity in kpop groups thing!! tbh I really only stan a few groups like nct, skz, bts (more during covid) and like aespa,, when i see other groups perform I want to feel like they really enjoy it but for some it's really just a job like the rest of us lmaoo.. and it takes me a long time to get into newer groups for that reason too

I feel like starting inside out then all the way to talking abt BTS definitely made me feel emotions that I know I needed to feel. From the bottom of my heart thank you.💗
Two idols that come to mind when I think talent and authenticity are Belle who is not only a talented vocalist but a talented composer and lyricist and Rose who is also a talented vocalist and also plays guitar (she also enjoyed the trainee life because she was always surrounded by music).
When I went through my first breakup in 7th grade my two closest friends wanted to laugh and when they told me that two years later I almost started crying because it was so difficult for me I hated it.
Nobody does like BTS is so true like there vocals, talents , amazing choreography and Unreal visuals and the stage presence is so energizing , nobody can replace them and nobody does like them ✨️🤌
the sad part is when clarence was talking about his break up and watching inside out 2 hit me hard because insideout 2 was the last movie i watched with my boyfriend before he broke up with me
I feel the EXACT same way about authenticity in kpop and BTS specifically. And I think the fact so many people feel the same way about them is a testament to that truth of authenticity. When you listen to an artist who, first of all, **wrote all their own lyrics**, it can't be denied that their message is theirs and they are speaking truthfully into the mic for the audience to take in. (Even if it's a fun silly song, lol)
When I was little and I got into kpop I wanted to dance like them and so I watched like bts tutorial and then I got the movement and when I tell you this now everytime I would see like a kpop idol choreography I would mesmerize it then I just got the hang of it sorry if it’s confusing but yeah I hope yall have a lovely day hope that makes sense sorry 😅💕
I ain't never laughed at any RUclips video like I have at theirs. Thank you for that. It's always good to have a nice laugh after a long day, but I also appreciate the deep thoughts this time. Anyone excited for the new SKZ album? I already have the limited and a signed Chk Chk version waiting for me. (might pre order the NEMO and the Boom ver, dunno yet) Hbu? Make sure to drink some water, eat well, and get some beauty sleep babagrills!
The second they see how armies see jungkook n envy are literal twins it’s gonna be so funny because they were talking abt envy being so kawaii anywho love your videos 🥺😭
Wtf? BTS didn't blew up because of covid and dynamite, they were already EXTREMELY popular before. They blew up because of the I Need U era in 2015, they've been popular ever since and it legit makes me mad seeing people disregarding their old days just because there wasn't grammy nominations or whatever
yeah bts has been super big for super long, but i think that they meant that covid helped them gain even MORE popularity and made them a household name. like they got so many awards for just music, not in asian only categories, so it was them breaking down yet another wall. also i think they mentioned covid bc thats when bts released their full english songs, which brought them even more immense popularity from the general public, not just kpop stans
Yeah, 2016 was when I first got into them, with Fire, and they already felt big/successful -- they just hadn't truly blown up into the western mainstream until dynamite I feel like. Which was 2020. Or around / before they released dynamite. I believe that was their first fully English single? So yeah. But they were definitely big around 2018/2019 and I feel like 2020 was the nail in the coffin of their World Wide Fame
Exactly!! No one does it like BTS💪🏽 which is why BTS are where they are. They are actually passionate about making music and about their fans. Which matters and can be seen in their music. The artistry, the work they put into their music is just amazing😭
