" once u associated them with their keywords, forget all what I have said - cz BTS love to break out of their labeled boxes" ... Girl that was genius 😮👏💯
Yes! During the keyword section I was thinking "ah, this is pretty good for a super quick intro to the members, but it seems over-simplified..." then she flipped it around and I was satisfied. It really is impossible to explain the BTS members as any kind of simple 'type' they all have so much range. The only way to understand "who is BTS" is to actually listen to their albums, read their lyrics, watch their performances, interviews, behind-the-scenes videos etc. By the time you've done that, you'll probably be a fan.
No seriously I think about this fact randomly every other day lol. And when they comeback I’m so scared (in a good way) to see how they’re gonna absolutely demolish the music industry once more.. & they’re not even at their peak yet- not even close broo
I think it's very important to realize that their main quality is being hard working. They don't give up. Talent without hard work and dedication is nothing.
@@prunelle9068 This can't be said enough! Yes they all have unique and special talents but innate talent isn't enough, they're also highly skilled and developed artists, and that's because they work incredibly hard and never get complacent. That comes from being self-motivated, not pushed by a company, and being in this career because they truly love making music and performing, not just to be rich and famous. Even now they've reached success they're still so humble, they always talk about how they can improve, how they can expand their range, and deepen their connection with music. That's why even though new fans sometimes say "oh, I'm sad I missed so many years of their career" I tell them not to worry, there's going to be many more years to come, and they're going to keep developing in new directions and surprising us!
Finally a guide on BTS musical style rather than BTS personalities ( I don't hate the personality guides but no hater / non kpop person will be interested in their personality) this guide is THEE best i have seen till now. Thank bora for your hardwork 🙏💜
Gotta start with the music before you yeet them into the rabbit hole. It's only right, after all it's their lives' work. They shouldn't be known just for cutie, handsome, clumsy, silly. What are they? The 7 dwarves?
@@Hopie_T Agreed! The music is the reason they're here on the world stage, and loved by millions, it's the work they've poured their whole lives into. Of course there's a lot to enjoy about their personalities and their other content, but the music is first and foremost. And while I do think the various guides out there serve an important purpose, even the best ones are oversimplified. It's really impossible to sum up 7 complex human beings in a few minutes! In my opinion it's best to start with the music, then get to know the members by actually watching their content for yourself, not just through compilations.
I loooved your video, it made me feel so proud of my boys. I stand the best artists, the best and most beautiful people. They are simply incredible!! ARMY to the end
This is officially my new favorite into guide. I love how it focuses on their music because that is what they are most proud of and want to be known for. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How did you managed to put so much information in not even 19 minutes video, and it not feel rushed and all around the place, I'll never understand. You are amazing Bora and I'm extremely happy that I found your channel💜💜 I will recommend that video to everyone lol.
Our best introduction video from now on should be: 1. guide by boracity=> about their music 2. introduction by rice squad=> about their achievements 3. guide by taylor mari=> about their personalities, life story REMEMBER GUYS
@@riddhimatiwari390she will be doing an updated one from where they left off …I saw her guest interview and she said she she planned todo that and had a pre information on them and their achievements during the interview. She has her channel still, so it’s fairly easy to make a comment or question. She’s quite busy w her editing job in Hawaii. 😊 and still ARMY 💜
@@Ween4ever I didn't know about the interview. I love her videos and understand life of a busy editor. She can take all her time to make changes and gives us a beautiful guide once again. am not here to
bts are an immensely popular group but criminally underrated artists. anytime I play a bts song without mentioning its bts ppl love it and ask what songs I'm playing. once I say "let me play a bts song for u" they're against it. once ppl get over the prejudice that is bts, they'll be introduced to some of the best music out there.
How long have I wished for a guide like this to exist... There's a lot of people that want to know something about BTS but more about their music and not what personalities they have. And in those guides it's often too much information for the beginner which they won't even remember after watching. So I think this one is great and I will definitely recommend it now for everyone as the first introduction. Thank you.💜
Yes exactly. this is short but it's still so much information and it focuses on the most important part about a musical act... their music first and foremost.
Zero disrespect to Taylor Mari, her guide will always be one of the best for someone who wants to do a full deep-dive into BTS. But I always thought having to read a 50 minute video was a bit too big of a commitment for a curious non-fan. A 20 minute spoken guide that focuses on only the most important facts to get someone interested in doing their own research is such a great start for new fans, and I really hope people start recommending this guide to people! I especially love the way you emphasised BTS' diversity, it's one of my favorite things about them but I always struggle to put it into words whenever I'm telling someone about them. I love this new guide, really well put together as always 💜💜💜
Our best introduction video from now on should be: 1. guide by boracity=> about their music 2. introduction by rice squad=> about their achievements 3. guide by taylor mari=> about their personalities, life story
Right I always forget about the rice squad one, I honestly don't think I've seen it more than one time years ago. But I like that, three different guides that focus on different things, now I swear if I see one more person go for the inaccurate meme-guides from 2018 I'm gonna lose it 😭
I feel bad they have to read, yet I understand that it’s bc she doesn’t like the sound of her voice. Hopefully, she could have someone voice over it and the next one.
@@sherryjyj5910 i agree with you but a MUST that needs to be before rice squad is bts hardships 2021 by xceleste as well as some other boracity videos or even affectaed or shookga videos. rice squad is ok but he adds wrong info and some questionable narratives to his video like the emphasis on yg inspiring bang pd or the weird way to describe american hustle life when it was a very important series that helped bts be able to collab with their favorite hip hop artists today due to learning how to properly respect hip hop culture regardless of how cringy it was its not something to say to new people who are skeptical of bts respecting hip hop due to kpops reputation. but even besides that people need to not focus on not viewing sad content and give new people and reactors the run down of hardships in detail for them to truly understand bts lyrics in songs like 2!3! or the eternal or the cyphers etc. hardships are a must because beyond assumptions of kpop being controlled and western boy bands being treated badly by their labels they do not know the extent of what bts could and have went through which makes them have a strong bond that wont break like the western boybands. they need to see the struggles to truly get it. imo its one of the most important videos they need to see and even then xceleste does a great job but doesnt explain in detail enough for some of the incidents or doesnt say things directly enough for a random person to understand the weight of the issues as well as didnt add so many issues that should be talked about. example she said slightly how important and serious the t shirt issue was in japan but didnt show the true extent and risk and how the white paper project helped or what japanese armys did to stand with bts when they still went to japan. for the military service she showed on screen very important info but most dont pause to read it. like how the reaction from the public was due to the labels using bts and why it was bad for them to be used how unfair it was to bts due to the hate they received then when bts was rewarded for something they didnt want the same labels had the nerve to call that unfair when they were the ones to make it happen and were unfair to bts first. many topics needed more clarification and background info and details for a non fan new to korean music to understand as well as many other instances like jk's fender bender and how people treated him when it happened even tho every new driver goes through it once. or the tattoo scandal and how its now more common for celebs to get tattoos when celebs prior who got them didnt cause a chain reaction allowing other idols to follow. or the tattoo artist what she did to jk which led to bts finding a great tattoo artist and all getting matching 7. or how people reacted towards bts performing in saudi arabia and later doing the same to jk. or how people treated jimin when he expressed self esteem issues and finding his confidence healing and talking to his younger self. or how each member got hate for no reason showing examples of why. and showing how the fandom is toxic excuse doesnt make sense cause many of the new people were probably on that hate train not even knowing why. going into detail on what the "sexist" songs said who was weaponizing just to hate and who genuinely felt uncomfortable in korea due to the way society treats women how their society is different from other societies giving valid criticism to bts to which they learned and grew from vs the people who hated on them and still do just because not because they care about women. including new things like yoongi's kickboard incident, etc every introduction video has room to grow and imo there needs to be layers and willingness from new people to watch the short to the point ones then watch longer ones that go into more detail rather than long ones that are skimming over everything the longer ones should be more detail not less and i think thats where some fall short. but anyways all that too say i think the hardships should be on your list lol
@@sherryjyj5910 Adding to this is the brand new Tips for Baby ARMY video that should be added to this list. It's really great, too...just dropped today as well.
Just like Yoongi said, “You’ll like BTS' music if you listen without prejudice”. Damn a new favorite BTS guide dropped! This is perfect for people who just don't know much about them or nothing it all, but categorize or assume things they have experienced or heard that are the usual: generic, boyband, "K-pop genre", "music for teenagers", etc. I would love to watch a guide like this when I was discovering them. I was about to comment that I disagreed on some things in the first half of the video, but I waited and then I 100% agreed lmao. BTS is just so fcking diverse as artists and as human beings that it's hard to categorize them in something. It's the fact that I've been an Army for almost 9 years and I never had an idea or assumed 100% how their new song or album was going to sound or how their concept was going to be unless they gave some spoilers or hints. BTS is just BTS, like.. the only words that come into my mind are talent, artistry, quality, charisma, honesty, humor, and kindness.. even when I say things like this I can't help but think there's a contradiction, they are not always like that and they can do the opposite too. They just keep evolving. So, I have to give a further explanation because yeah, they are humble and kind, but they can also talk their sht or flex. They are so funny and silly. but they are so professional and serious when it's needed too and all 7 personalities are very different and have a duality. I guess the best BTS definitions are the ones they have used through the years: - " 'Beyond the Scene' stands for "symbolizing youth who don't settle for their current reality and instead open the door and go forward to achieve growth." - " 'Bangtan’ means to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideals of today’s adolescents" Sorry for the long comment 💜
Standing ovation because this is AMAZING girl I have no clue how you did that in a small video I'm actually blown away this is the best intro to bts I've seen in short formed video
9 minutes in and it feels like an hour with the amount of information you where able to condense in this video! This is amazing, very complete and easy to understand, i knew you're good at this, but i'm honestly impressed now
Loyal fan of them since 2014. They truly are special, not only as a group and soloists, but also as people. They are warm, kind, patient, humble, generous and hilarious, every single one of them. Once you dive into their personalities, you will never come back up. Always positive vibes. I think most BTS fans view them as best friends or even family.
From where I stand, until a new group comes in the future to outdo them, break all their records and be an all-rounder talented great humble people like them, BTS will be the one and only legendary greatest group of all time, period. That's not including the immense positive impact they have touched to the lives of people around the world. They have certainly set a new bar for the future generations and it will be interesting to see if it happens in my lifetime. In my heart, it will be BTS FOREVER!💜
Sorry but even if there is a new group that breaks their records, there is never going to be anyone like bts. They are more than just numbers or awards. Their Legacy, their history and story are in the history books. There is only one bts and they are legends. People will see eventually
The way Bora gave SO MUCH information (IMPORTANT INFO) in such a short video in comparison to the usual guide videos is INSANE. And finally a guide that focuses on their music and talents and not just their personalities! Amazing💜💜
This is the best presentation i have seen of a BTS introduction since i found them a year ago. Thanks a lot. Now i know why i loved them at first watch/encounter! 😊
In a time where solo stans are ruining the hard work of BTS, THIS VIDEO WILL BRIBG EVERYONE BACK TO WHY THEY ARE LOVED AS A GROUP. ARMY RE UNITE AND BRING BACK THE DAYS WE WERE A SOLID FABDOM.
I'm not surprised, I love your channel, but this is THE video every sceptical needs to watch. It's so well explained in a short time. And the way it also showcases really well their talent/skills with just these short clips. No, really it's perfect, even in the rythm of the video and quantity of informations for someone who is not a fan. Thank you for your hard work once again, Boracity ! 💜
of all the longwinded guides i've watched when i was smol, this is the best introduction for anyone who is biased or doesn't know them at all. the length of the others is what can deter people and it's too much info. this is perfect
At last a more up to date comprehensive guide to BTS which includes their solo work and maturity. I've been waiting for YOUR intro to BTS and I'm very satisfied. It was factual and concise. Thank you Boracity.
As always amazing! I was a bit nervous but then you said ‘You have to forget everything I’ve just said’ and this 18 minutes intro just became the best intro
This video perfectly explains how and why I fell in love with all of them. I admit that when I first heard of them, I thought they were just another typical boy group.... And I was SO VERY WRONG. I can only look back at my ignorance and shake my head for being so dumb 😂. They are like no other group or performer. They are in a class of their own. Made by them, built by them, and ruled by them. I love them with all my heart and vow to be ARMY til the day I die. 💜 Thank you for this awesome video. 🥰🙏🏽
Perfect approach to showcase their musical personalities in a very crisp and pointed way. And the whiplash at 16:00 minutes 😅, I think i fell for my bangtan once more 💜
this is the perfect guide!! Thank you for playing so many clips of their music, performances and creative process! If there is nothing else that can get people into loving them, it is always their music that can do the job. Even listening to the small selection you played yet again reminded me how incredible their discography is. I could not be prouder to be a fan💜
this is excellent, especially if they are interested they will definitely go to see the longer introductions later. many people complain when they have to read the subtitles themselves and too much information comes immediately from the members in detail. So this is a really good and light start, which also knocks out all preconceptions💜
This was incredible! You managed to describe them and their music (solo & as a group) perfectly! This video really made me realize how truly dynamic they are in everything down to their singing & rapping styles, no other group is as versatile as them. I think that’s what has me so hooked on them. They’re so distinctive and they always stand out of a crowd without even trying. Can’t wait for 2025 💜
*Like Beatles, Queen and solo artists, the BTS band even if they come from a certain country and a different music industry than the West, between their music/lyrics/choreography they are an ENTITY that cannot be put in a musical category or have a belonging to a country because they have now overcome all linguistic and emotional barriers to millions of people, but there is always a but this thing brings with it hatred and envy but it seems that up to now no one has ever managed to bring them down and the BTS FANDOM has been there and will always be their backup.💜*
Well said. Their diversity of musical styles made me think of Queen also when I first discovered them. It is one of my favorite things about Queen and it is one of my favorite things about BTS. It shows how talented they are and their music is ever boring.
I’m going to echo a lot of ARMY here and say how wonderful it is to focus in on their music like this. I get that into the beginning we didn’t know as much about their individual music tastes. We got peeks into it with their solo songs on group records, but chapter 2 bust that door wide open & we really get to see so much more! It makes sense that their group work is so diverse, because THEY’RE so diverse! 😊 It’s freaking amazing that they can contain all that talent in one group. I really don’t have words for how awesome they are. Focusing on the music makes the best sense (to me) when trying to explain them to the gp. I often will ask someone what their fav type is, so that I can personalize my intro to them. Now, if I could just some people to let go of their prejudice of and preconception of rap, THEN, I could get somewhere. “Boyband” isn’t nearly the stigma that “rap” is where I live. (*I* don’t call them a boyband btw, I’m just using it to compare the standard prejudice/preconception that associated with them). I say the word “rap”, & people’s eyes glaze over, or they cut me off. They definitely look at me differently 😂. I dunno. I grew up in the 80s/90s - I liked the rap of that time, so I was open to hearing BTS in whatever music they wanted to do (well, Dynamite was stretching it at first due to my anti-disco prejudice 😂). It is a no-brainer that their music has been awesome, no matter the genre. I just wish more people could open up and really listen. Hell, even if just to try some of the solo pop work. But they heard the word “rap” in the description and it’s all over now. They have now put all the members (solo & group) in a box; a box that they don’t have the first clue about. I’m frustrated. Ofc, I need to just let it go *sigh*
Sometimes you need a long guide and a deep dive, but this is so comprehensive of their musical style and WHY they’re so diverse in their genres and styles! Like just… wow!
Ok THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO !!! COZ I ALWAYS WANTED TO SHARE ABOUT BTS TO MY GP FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO ARE ALWAYS CURIOUS ABOUT THEM. nd ik how they absolutely won't care about those long very intriguing nd very detailed fan edited videos that exists. Now I'll be sharing this to everyone ❤ YOU BORACITY IS BLESSINGS FOR ARMYS 💜 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS PUTTING SOOO MUCH EFFORTS FOR BTS
Omg this is one of the best introduction videos of BTS I've ever seen. Even as an ARMY myself, I'm still amazed by the fact that 7 people that talented are on the same group.
To genialny przekaz pokazujący geniusz ludzi tworzących grupę BTS od strony muzycznej Można się nim znakomicie posiłkować tłumacząc, dlaczego BTS jest tak wyjątkowe.
Thank you finally a music/ artistry focused guide!!!!! I think they are popular celebrities and i also gravitated towards also thanks to their personalities but getting introduced to music artists through... their music has somehow often been very secondary in guides.. and so very underrated artits!! Not music records, but the actual artistry, the genres, and tastes being the central part of the video! Loved loved loved that you nuanced at the end that also theyvare not just defined by that because you really can't box any of them at the end of the day! Concise but as comprehensive as possible (which is sooo hard to make choices because so much more coild be included) so good job!
WOW! What a perfect introduction video. It is the ideal companion to some of the other longer videos. Short enough to allow new fans/ reactors to consider watching, thorough enough to really encapsulate the magic and musicality of BTS and up to date so that new watchers get a truer picture of where BTS are at this time as well as pointing to where they may be heading in the future. Thank you for another wonderful video! 💜 I attended your livestream. I am so grateful that you decided to post this video. Please try not to doubt yourself. You have so many people who really appreciate your research and presentations of your ideas. 💜
Boracity, I love you for this!! I knew you'd pull that on us at the end the second you introduced Yoongi as the underground one but didn't mention the same for Joon lmao. It's such a perfect twist for non-fans. I adore the staple introductory videos, but it's true that for genuine non-fans they're long, and there's not as much focus on them as musical artists. That's not a bad thing, getting to know them through their personalities and background is also important after all (and this video is the most perfect addition), but I've seen quite a few newbies come away from those videos having placed the boys into boxes and it takes a while for them to acknowledge them outside of those moulds. Again, partially to be expected from non-fans, but I'm so happy this tackles those notions from the jump. I'll be recommending this video to many! Thanks for another great video 💜
ARMY often places too much emphasis on Namjoon’s image as a leader. He’s undoubtedly the best leader, but he’s not just that-he’s a genius artist and rapper who has earned top recognition from all corners of the music industry. There’s no other K-pop artist like him. We should give more respect to his artistry; otherwise, it wouldn’t do justice to his efforts and passion.
I agree with your opinion. His artistry is too often underestimated. He also has the background of being a well known underground rapper, Runch Randa, while still in high school. Limiting his identity to just ‘the best leader’ wouldn’t be fair. Fans shouldn’t suppress his talent.
I am a 45-year-old woman and I have never seen such a complete group of artists with such a diverse discography. In addition, they are excellent dancers and actors. They are kind and incredible human beings. And lastly, very handsome. I am definitely an Army. 💜
Omg..this is just perfect!! I accidentally discovered BTS in 2022 and they challenged my thinking in so many ways. And I know the people around me are ignorant just like i was and turn away just because of the appearance and the name boyband. I pick my brain everyday on how to introduce BTS to my folks. This video beautifully blended together most of the content I had in mind. Thank you💜 . This is a piece of art!!
Highlights of the video 14:53 "Jungkook is the male pop star the world looking for but denying for some reason " chef's kiss!! and the ending of course about breaking out of the labelled boxes 16:15 ..👏👏👏
Pretty much my story exactly! Discovered them by accident (although I knew OF them but wasn't interested in "kpop" or a "boy band". My loss, truly.) I love all Boracity Magazine's content. But I'm ALWAYS searching for the best introduction videos to show my people. This one is great!!
I ended up tearing up at the end of the video because even though I know it, it still blows my mind how much passion BTS has for music, that is one in a million. To hear snippets of so many songs and say "oh yeah, they're all bangers" is no easy feat.
Tbh and with so much love, it's a shame that this video is only 18 minutes. You ATE and LEFT NO CRUMBS by making this video. You did justice to Armys!! If you have the opportunity to make a long video about BTS introduction+how their got so successful+Army+2nd Chapter, I would die in peace, your videos, and the way you explain its so satisfying for me. WE LOVE YOU BORACITY!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
Bora, omg I keep crying every few minutes of watching this video! You have totally outdone yourself with this one! To say I am proud of our boys is a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT! Yes I am in this Bangtan Sonyeondan thing for life! ApoBangpo baby!
The first 30 sec was literally me. I used to be a skeptic 🙈. I first heard of bts in 2018 and i saw some of their mvs, thought it was ok but didnt get the hype. I was just a casual fan. But i became curious because of their success. Even things like bbmas or jimmy fallon got my attention and i realised that an Asian artist was doing such remarkable things and that made me think theres more to them than typical kpoppy stuff. But i didnt become proper army until around september 2020, where for some reason i started watching a bunch of compilations and edits and funny videos (typical youtube baby army era) and i got hooked! I just had to know everything about them and ive basically been studying bts and army ever since. But i also need to point out the role of army in getting my interest, in making bts accessible by providing translations and by being so funny and smart. If it werent for them, i wouldn't be here. I love you all💜💜💜
0:35 omg i used to see soooo many intro to bts videos as a baby army. But yeah they mostly focus on personality. I think i got to know more about their music once i joined twitter cause twt armys are elite
16:06 i loved the plot twist here 😂 how can anyone explain the variety and complexity of BTS' musical range? Nonetheless, Boracity did a great job once again! I hope this video can reach all the skeptics out there, it's always good to recruit more people 😂
Thank you for making this video Boracity! To skeptics and non-pop fans out there, if I may add, j-hope is MORE THAN JUST THE STREET DANCER (though he is indeed a dance prodigy.) He is one of the 3 Musical Pillars of BTS ( Time Magazine article mentioned by the founder Bang PD), he is a COMPOSER and a PRODUCER as well just like Namjoon and SUGA. 145 KOMCA credits / songs under BTS and his three albums ( Hope World, critically acclaimed Jack In The Box and HOPE ON THE STREET) He is the Dance Leader of BTS that the members look up to and the KING OF STAGE PRESENCE! 🤩His delivery of songs and raps is very emotive, with very a unique flow and GREAT STABILITY even when dancing! He was the first trainee Big Hit signed and 3rd to join BTS. He learned composing and rapping as a trainee, which was pretty amazing because now he is one of the greatest rappers and lyricists hailed from South Korea and a very versatile artist - that's why he is called the Golden Hyung by our fandom!
I watched it for the second time and even if you say it's for the haters/skepticals, I as an army I adore your guide. Thank you again for the very hard work and also thanks to bora sister for being your exquisite supporter. 💜💜
I loved everything about this video! I hope that interested people, baby ARMYs, reactors, etc., can come across this video. I think you mentioned the key and basic points without needing to go into details that might not interest someone who's just getting to know them or doesn't like them. And the last part was simply the perfect touch to close the video. The worst thing you can do is put BTS in a box with labels, because they're one of the most versatile artists in the music industry. They're experts at rebranding and doing it so smoothly. This reminded me of the part of Nam's documentary where he says (I'm paraphrasing, and I apologize if it's not entirely accurate) that not being labeled as something allows you to do everything, and that BTS was like that from the beginning. Personally, I think that until before their hiatus, they were like that, as if they literally experimented with something new in every comeback. The "Bangtan Style" isn't just one style or genre; basically, it's not having any defined genre or style, doing what best suits what they want to express. If I had to say something that remains constant in them, it's their sincerity with their music. As a group, we see how they all work towards the same goal, but as solo artists, we could see how different they can be, how their artistic visions are so distinct, but they're so aware of what they want, and that's what I love the most. They really don't feel the pressure of the industry. If one of them wanted to do something alternative, they did it; another wanted to do western pop, they did it; another did rock, they did it; another did jazz, etc. And they all had enough creative freedom to experiment, execute, and express their solo sides. It was truly wonderful to see, and it made a lot of sense as to why, at the end of the day, BTS doesn't fit into just one style; they have 7 members with extremely different styles that come together as a group and form what is ultimately the "Bangtan Style".
I think you're one of the few people that is able to put all this much information about BTS, in such a beautiful and concise way, in such a short video
The dislikes is from Jin for including Super Tuna😂 But all seriousness tho, this is an amazing introduction to their music. Great work as always boracity💜
For me BTS stands for 'Box Thrown to the Side'... Coz they are that out of the box! What was I even doing before I knew them? Borahae BTS. Lots of love to Boracity.
The fandom should definitely start recommending this guide to any of the new reactors/fans in general who want to know about BTS and then if someone wants to deep dive we can suggest a follow-up guide by taylor
Girllll, you couldn't say it any better yourself. This video made me cry of happiness, I'm just so proud of them and their work. I'm so grateful that I gave bts a change in summer 2023, and I love them so much. Ty so much for this.

This is a must see in addition to the Taylor guide 👍🏻
am i a hater? no. am i a skeptical? no. am i a non-pop fan? no. am i gonna watch this anyway? absolutely
i love your videos so much😭❤
thank you for watching💜
Same here 😂

Finally a guide on BTS musical style rather than BTS personalities ( I don't hate the personality guides but no hater / non kpop person will be interested in their personality) this guide is THEE best i have seen till now. Thank bora for your hardwork 🙏💜
Agree!
Gotta start with the music before you yeet them into the rabbit hole. It's only right, after all it's their lives' work. They shouldn't be known just for cutie, handsome, clumsy, silly. What are they? The 7 dwarves?
@@Hopie_T lol IKR
I need those new BTS reactors I always see, to watch this first before anything else starting today.
Yep
Yesss
Specially all thoose that call themself kpop haters
YES agreed, this video clarified every single annoying comment those reactors always make when they’re starting out with bts.
Yesss
This is officially my new favorite into guide. I love how it focuses on their music because that is what they are most proud of and want to be known for. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How did you managed to put so much information in not even 19 minutes video, and it not feel rushed and all around the place, I'll never understand. You are amazing Bora and I'm extremely happy that I found your channel💜💜 I will recommend that video to everyone lol.
Just amazing!
She's REALLY great at getting a lot of important information into a short time, seriously! - She's the queen! LOL
BORACITY dropped one of the best BTS Short guides people
Our best introduction video from now on should be:
1. guide by boracity=> about their music
2. introduction by rice squad=> about their achievements
3. guide by taylor mari=> about their personalities, life story
REMEMBER GUYS
@sherryjyj5910 Taylor mari one is so iconic but now it needs to be updated. Can someone reach to her ??
@@riddhimatiwari390she will be doing an updated one from where they left off …I saw her guest interview and she said she she planned todo that and had a pre information on them and their achievements during the interview. She has her channel still, so it’s fairly easy to make a comment or question. She’s quite busy w her editing job in Hawaii. 😊 and still ARMY 💜
@@Ween4ever I didn't know about the interview. I love her videos and understand life of a busy editor. She can take all her time to make changes and gives us a beautiful guide once again. am not here to
@@sherryjyj5910 And when you're ready for the very long and heartbreaking journey from the beginning, The Rise of Bangtan.
bts are an immensely popular group but criminally underrated artists. anytime I play a bts song without mentioning its bts ppl love it and ask what songs I'm playing. once I say "let me play a bts song for u" they're against it. once ppl get over the prejudice that is bts, they'll be introduced to some of the best music out there.
true
💯
How long have I wished for a guide like this to exist... There's a lot of people that want to know something about BTS but more about their music and not what personalities they have. And in those guides it's often too much information for the beginner which they won't even remember after watching. So I think this one is great and I will definitely recommend it now for everyone as the first introduction. Thank you.💜
Yes exactly. this is short but it's still so much information and it focuses on the most important part about a musical act... their music first and foremost.
exactly. this conveyed so much about their artistry. it's amazing and impactful
I haven't clicked anything so quickly before. I know it's not for army but I can't resist 💜
Same!
Honestly the more views it gets the more likely the algorithm will recommend it to others so you are helping!
Omg Thekla 😭 I was just about to send you the video
@@AJP.OT7True. Plus i forwarded it to some muggles friends too 🤭
@@Polarnyght you found me 🫂💜
Zero disrespect to Taylor Mari, her guide will always be one of the best for someone who wants to do a full deep-dive into BTS.
Our best introduction video from now on should be:
1. guide by boracity=> about their music
2. introduction by rice squad=> about their achievements
3. guide by taylor mari=> about their personalities, life story
@@sherryjyj5910 i agree with you but a MUST that needs to be before rice squad is bts hardships 2021 by xceleste as well as some other boracity videos or even affectaed or shookga videos.
rice squad is ok but he adds wrong info and some questionable narratives to his video like the emphasis on yg inspiring bang pd or the weird way to describe american hustle life when it was a very important series that helped bts be able to collab with their favorite hip hop artists today due to learning how to properly respect hip hop culture regardless of how cringy it was its not something to say to new people who are skeptical of bts respecting hip hop due to kpops reputation.
but even besides that people need to not focus on not viewing sad content and give new people and reactors the run down of hardships in detail for them to truly understand bts lyrics in songs like 2!3! or the eternal or the cyphers etc. hardships are a must because beyond assumptions of kpop being controlled and western boy bands being treated badly by their labels they do not know the extent of what bts could and have went through which makes them have a strong bond that wont break like the western boybands. they need to see the struggles to truly get it. imo its one of the most important videos they need to see and even then xceleste does a great job but doesnt explain in detail enough for some of the incidents or doesnt say things directly enough for a random person to understand the weight of the issues as well as didnt add so many issues that should be talked about.
example she said slightly how important and serious the t shirt issue was in japan but didnt show the true extent and risk and how the white paper project helped or what japanese armys did to stand with bts when they still went to japan.
for the military service she showed on screen very important info but most dont pause to read it. like how the reaction from the public was due to the labels using bts and why it was bad for them to be used how unfair it was to bts due to the hate they received then when bts was rewarded for something they didnt want the same labels had the nerve to call that unfair when they were the ones to make it happen and were unfair to bts first.
many topics needed more clarification and background info and details for a non fan new to korean music to understand as well as many other instances like jk's fender bender and how people treated him when it happened even tho every new driver goes through it once. or the tattoo scandal and how its now more common for celebs to get tattoos when celebs prior who got them didnt cause a chain reaction allowing other idols to follow.
or the tattoo artist what she did to jk which led to bts finding a great tattoo artist and all getting matching 7.
or how people reacted towards bts performing in saudi arabia and later doing the same to jk. or how people treated jimin when he expressed self esteem issues and finding his confidence healing and talking to his younger self. or how each member got hate for no reason showing examples of why. and showing how the fandom is toxic excuse doesnt make sense cause many of the new people were probably on that hate train not even knowing why.
going into detail on what the "sexist" songs said who was weaponizing just to hate and who genuinely felt uncomfortable in korea due to the way society treats women how their society is different from other societies giving valid criticism to bts to which they learned and grew from vs the people who hated on them and still do just because not because they care about women.
including new things like yoongi's kickboard incident, etc
every introduction video has room to grow and imo there needs to be layers and willingness from new people to watch the short to the point ones then watch longer ones that go into more detail rather than long ones that are skimming over everything the longer ones should be more detail not less and i think thats where some fall short. but anyways all that too say i think the hardships should be on your list lol
I guess the best BTS definitions are the ones they have used through the years:
- " 'Beyond the Scene' stands for "symbolizing youth who don't settle for their current reality and instead open the door and go forward to achieve growth."
- " 'Bangtan’ means to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideals of today’s adolescents"
Sorry for the long comment 💜
This is now my favorite guide to BTS✨💜very well explained.Thank you Boracity 💜💜💜💜💜
Standing ovation because this is AMAZING girl I have no clue how you did that in a small video I'm actually blown away this is the best intro to bts I've seen in short formed video
9 minutes in and it feels like an hour with the amount of information you where able to condense in this video! This is amazing, very complete and easy to understand, i knew you're good at this, but i'm honestly impressed now
The diversity and talent in BTS is INSANE! Hard to find any other artist who could match.
The best beginner´s ultimate guide for muggles! 💜💜
Thanks, I needed to cry once again over our boys
I can't explain how much I love your videos
Please start recommending this as a guide alongside Taylor’s own. This is so well made😭💜
From where I stand, until a new group comes in the future to outdo them, break all their records and be an all-rounder talented great humble people like them, BTS will be the one and only legendary greatest group of all time, period.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so right! We've needed a short, yet comprehensive guide! to show to the non-fans. Very well done! 💜
The way Bora gave SO MUCH information (IMPORTANT INFO) in such a short video in comparison to the usual guide videos is INSANE. And finally a guide that focuses on their music and talents and not just their personalities! Amazing💜💜
ARMY I‘m crying. This made me fall for them all over again. Love y‘all so much
Same i got emotional
This is the best presentation i have seen of a BTS introduction since i found them a year ago. Thanks a lot. Now i know why i loved them at first watch/encounter! 😊
In a time where solo stans are ruining the hard work of BTS, THIS VIDEO WILL BRIBG EVERYONE BACK TO WHY THEY ARE LOVED AS A GROUP. ARMY RE UNITE AND BRING BACK THE DAYS WE WERE A SOLID FABDOM.
This is the best introduction to BTS i have ever seen
I'm not surprised, I love your channel, but this is THE video every sceptical needs to watch. It's so well explained in a short time. And the way it also showcases really well their talent/skills with just these short clips.
No, really it's perfect, even in the rythm of the video and quantity of informations for someone who is not a fan. Thank you for your hard work once again, Boracity ! 💜
Finally!! The wait is over. Returned with a banger 💜✨
of all the longwinded guides i've watched when i was smol, this is the best introduction for anyone who is biased or doesn't know them at all.
the length of the others is what can deter people and it's too much info.
this is perfect
At last a more up to date comprehensive guide to BTS which includes their solo work and maturity. I've been waiting for YOUR intro to BTS and I'm very satisfied. It was factual and concise. Thank you Boracity.
As always amazing! I was a bit nervous but then you said ‘You have to forget everything I’ve just said’ and this 18 minutes intro just became the best intro
I have never enjoyed a band as much as I enjoy BTS they truly are amazing like they broke every mold
I love that you highlighted the duality they all possess. Their ability to always challenge themselves creatively and suprise us is everything !
I'm so proud of BTS as a group and as solos. I love them so much.
And the whiplash at 16:00 minutes 😅, I think i fell for my bangtan once more 💜
Same at “now forget everything I just said” 😆
So happy when I see a new BoraCity video essay!
Awww YEAH!! A new Bangtan guide to recommend to non-ARMYs! :D Thank you Boracity for feeding the community once again! 💜
Love this guide to BTS. Thank you so much for making it. Borahae.
this is the perfect guide!! Thank you for playing so many clips of their music, performances and creative process! If there is nothing else that can get people into loving them, it is always their music that can do the job. Even listening to the small selection you played yet again reminded me how incredible their discography is. I could not be prouder to be a fan💜
you literally NAILED ITTTTT 🩷
this is excellent, especially if they are interested they will definitely go to see the longer introductions later. many people complain when they have to read the subtitles themselves and too much information comes immediately from the members in detail.
I feel sorry for those who don’t have our boys
I was in your live streaming this week! I’m so glad you posted this! As I said before you’re a gift to this fandom!
This is so perfect for sharing with people curious about my obsession. Perfect choices for all of the clips. Perfect. Thank you so much!
To genialny przekaz pokazujący geniusz ludzi tworzących grupę BTS od strony muzycznej Można się nim znakomicie posiłkować tłumacząc, dlaczego BTS jest tak wyjątkowe.
I had goosebumps through the whole thing. So so well done!
I attended your livestream. I am so grateful that you decided to post this video. Please try not to doubt yourself. You have so many people who really appreciate your research and presentations of your ideas. 💜
This is a perfect description.. Now I'm gonna show this to my friends
Excellent video. Gotta be one of the greatest ARMY channels if not the greatest one.
Wow so insightful...so concise....so accurate.. Boracity Magazine the CHAMPION of ARMYS
This was FANTASTIC!!! So insightful and perfect at turning people’s assumptions on their head.
Found it, Watched it, Loved it - Perfect Intro to Rabbit Hole of BTS and their Music💜
I love the twist at the end, your videos are gold💜
I'm glad you posted the video, I was eagerly waiting💜
Fans shouldn’t suppress his talent.
agree. i’ve seen way too many armys themselves discredit joon’s rapping especially
I am a 45-year-old woman and I have never seen such a complete group of artists with such a diverse discography. In addition, they are excellent dancers and actors. They are kind and incredible human beings. And lastly, very handsome. I am definitely an Army. 💜
YOU POSTED IT!!! 😂😂😂 Kudos to you 🥂
As the genius philosopher Kim Namjoon once said: "Haters gonna hate." 💜
Aaaaand... it was awesome ❤
Another perfect video, conveying expertly why BTS are a phenomenon we are not likely to ever experience again.... thank you, boracity magazine.
I ended up tearing up at the end of the video because even though I know it, it still blows my mind how much passion BTS has for music, that is one in a million. To hear snippets of so many songs and say "oh yeah, they're all bangers" is no easy feat.
Yeayy! I'm glad you decided to post it!
What's a wonderful description of BTS that can capture them all talented in a short video. I appreciate you so much Boracity😊 I purple you 💜🥰
Tbh and with so much love, it's a shame that this video is only 18 minutes.
FINALLY an updated and amazingly detailed guide despite being shorter than the usual guides. tysm Bora
Wow, now imagine these 7 talent and uniquesness in one group..... Yes, that is BTS 😊
this is crazy boracity wth this is the PERFECT video! thank u so much ❤
Bora, omg I keep crying every few minutes of watching this video!
I hope this video can reach all the skeptics out there, it's always good to recruit more people 😂
WOW The most info I ever heard in 18 minutes ❤ thank you
Thank you for making this video Boracity!
Omg lets go this is what i need! thank you boracity as always 💜🙏
Thank you so much Boracity! Watching your guide on Bangtan made me even more proud to be ARMY 💜
I watched it for the second time and even if you say it's for the haters/skepticals, I as an army I adore your guide. Thank you again for the very hard work and also thanks to bora sister for being your exquisite supporter. 💜💜
Отличное видео 10 из 10. Ты молодец, спасибо
This is so well made boracity!! Respect! 💜🔥
Wow well said! I’m blown away! I can’t wait until BTS return from the military. They are powerhouses!🤯👏
This is really cleverly put together! It shows how complex and talented they are. Great job.
The dislikes is from Jin for including Super Tuna😂
But all seriousness tho, this is an amazing introduction to their music.
