Here's my opinions on most of these: - I'd put the TG-1around 1.7-2.0 like you suggested since its basically a Lee with a bit less armor and pen. It's 76mm is in a casemate with limited horizontal traverse, not a defunct turret. It could make for an interesting pack vehicle if paired with an equally unique looking aircraft. - BT-2 would be a great 1.0 candidate. 1.0 is in need of a rebalance, especially for the U.S, Britain, and USSR. The BT-5 could easily be moved up, with the BT-2 taking its place. -Any of the T-46's and T-29's would be welcome additions. There are enough variants of both to have some in the TT and others as premiums/squadron/event vehicles. Having a flamethrower-equipped T-46 in the TT would bring some novelty. - BT-SV could work well as a low tier squadron vehicle. It's visually distinct enough to attract new players while not being too unusual stat wise. - T-111 could go at 3.0 as a stepping stone between the T-28E and KV-1, though this would likely require foldering it with the T-28E. - A-20 and A-32 would good transitional vehicles to the T-34 in the tech tree. I'd put them in a folder them with the T-50, at 2.7 and 3.0 respectively. - T-100 should be 3.3, as either a squadron or event vehicle. It's not necessary needed in the tree, but its also not different enough from the SMK to warrant making it premium vehicle. Allowing it to be freely obtained, but somewhat exclusive would be a good fit for a vehicle that straddles the line between being both unique and redundant. - Those early TD's could just be BP filler content or foldered with other 1.0 vehicles since they aren't doing anything particularly unique. - The SU-14's would be better off foldered with other vehicles as they are just too unconventional, even when compared to some of the existing low tier derp SPG's. The 203mm version would have to be an event vehicle.
wow, i was planning on writing a long comment about my opinions but i see that won't be nececary anymore since you've kinda said everything i wanted to say haha. i very much agree with the squadron vehicle stuff, as i'd love to see (more) low/mid-tier sqadron vehicles in general and unique little goobers like the BT-SV and T-100 would fit there perfectly. I'm still not sure they'll actually add more low-tier stuff, since high and top tier gets all the attention nowadays, but I'd love to see more of these cool interwar/WWII vehicles in the future
Yeah, the BT-5 is really too good to be a reserve tank. The BT-2 could easily be added at 1.0 and it bumped up to 1.3 even if Gaijin *doesn't* add below 1.0 BRs to fit more early tanks into the game. As for the T-100, I think it should be in the tech tree, just to be a free counterpart to the SMK. Move the T-28E down to Rank 1 and folder it with the T-28, and put the T-100 before the KV-1 (L-11).
T-111 onwards are relatively impressive, for the game, tho especially after they finally buffed the Pz IIIs Turret speed (after i reported it for like 5-6 years), the 5 cm KwK 38 L/42, will have no problems with them. The Pzgr.39 will realtively easily penetrate even the T-111, if not from range using the Pzgr.40 (which still is waiting for a minor buff in weight, which will bring the penetration up to 118mm/10m). Overall the 5 cm Pzgr.39 and 7,5 cm Gr.38 Series will be the biggest foe for them.
So you know how they re-added the FCM-36 and other French tanks? I think that could be a great way to introduce these interwar tanks for all nations. We could have WW-1 style lineups possible.
If Gaijin did add in every known tank, we would be getting memes of taking ww1 tanks to top tier. Also I want the machine gun BT-2 variant to be added into the game.
I am not sure if a BT-2 with an MG would be practical for the game. In real life, sure. You can mow down infantry. However in War Thunder, a machine gun as your only gun would make you useless. Even using it as AA would be pointless. After all, how do you except to shoot down planes if you can't even touch them?
I believe that a turret fitting the 152mm gun on the KV-2 was built to be mounted on the T-100, which in real life was not mounted because it was heavy and the 130mm gun was mounted instead, but in game it would be a less armored KV-2 with a secondary turret, eliminating one of the issues of the KV-2, its long reload time as it would have a decent secondary to use well reloading. I also wonder what the Tsar Tank would look like in game.
The TG-1 is basically an M3 Lee but much earlier, definitely would be a fun addition to the game. Would you be able to do Thai vehicles that can be added to the Japanese Tech Tree?
so, i don't rember the name and might be a ww2 vehicle (sorry about that) it is bassicaly an heavy zis truck (which the btr152 was built on i think later) fitted with an 76mm, now it had some issues with realiability from the short reading i've done but could go like 82kmh
I feel like you're underrating the BT-SV. The regular BT-7 is 1.3 and should probably be 1.7. The BT-7M is 2.0. There's no way a version with highly angled armor is only 1.3-1.7. Sure, the extra weight means significantly worse acceleration, but otherwise the shortcomings of the tank like strain on the suspension aren't modeled in War Thunder.
Russia industries for most of the country and not it's core were at most pre industry craftman, at worst 15th century pure agricultural production. The Soviet keep making the Ft-18 to: 1. Add tanks to support their troops. 2. Learn experience of mass producing machinery. 3. Learn experience of fixing them due to mass productions and usage. Remember thing were made by the Soviet logic, because they was needed, instead of saving on expense and gave worker the worst gear possible to cut corners.
Rant This sort of demand/mentallity is what is killing WT. adding stuff intead of fixing stuff. What WT needs is to actually fix the planes THEN tanks and boats should even be in the fkin game before the other stuff is fixed, and they need to fix their maps, BR, hell even voice acting and go back to the more historical missions and add new theoretical missions for the modern stuff. It needs to stop making prem into pay to win and have a random map with random vehicles and factions with the wrong time eras. There was a noticable negligence from the devs regarding its heart and soul of the game (planes) in updates, fixes, balancing etc. after tanks came into the game which added a new fanbase which is now the dominant fanbase Ground RB and the devs see money in that. The only thing they did to planes was adding more planes while also simplifying what made planes interesting to begin with. This game will just devolve more as time goes on and the fans will be replaced the mediocre short term fans who don't care about that. I loved wt planes RB and ever since tanks were added the updates and fixes have been too lazy or out right downgrades ever since. I enjoyed prop planes, and I was mediocre at tanks with slight negative K/D. I then tried the Russian tree, got into the T34 after a little grind and I had games with 5-7kills and 1-2 deaths... Even where they focus their attention (tanks) the game sucks and is broken. I haven't touched this garbage game in almost 4 years since after playing it all the time since 2013. This was the game at it's heart, and if you are one of those who buy prem and hype play during new vehicles and get annoyed by this comment then congrats you are one of those toxic new fans who keep ruining good franchises by feeding into that sort of dopamine. I am pretty sure that there are no original fans left in this game so this argument was probably dead 5 years ago, if there are any old fans still playing this like you are smoking cigarettes then no you are not a fan, you are an addict. I really wonder what this will devolve into in annother 10 years and by that time you are annoyed by my comment (the short term fan) won't be around nor care. Hopefully they run out of vehicles to ad so they will be forced to actually fix the game's issues but I doubt it. rip WT
TG-1 actually had two rotating turrets. The lower turret ring was welded because the turret ring couldn't handle the recoil of the 76mm
I've played this tank before in a game similar to war thunder. It's called Steel Titans or Roblox, but it was a limited event vehicle
BT-SV, A-20, A-32, and T-100 are also in Steel Titans

The dog in the picture at 3.35 seconds- what a great photo though nice edit choice
6:15 when you are doing a sprocket tank design speedrun
Gaijin be like: I agree make it a event vechile
or a premium, of course
Saw BT-SV
Instant like

Ah, the BT-SV, the T-34 Prototype's prototype's prototype's prototype.
we need a competitor to war thunder with the same core mechanics.
unfortunately gaijin had a decade to build the game to an unfeasible scale
fortunately armour and aces
War Thunder: The War to End All Wars. Basically War Thunder but ww1 to right before ww2 with all those wacky interwar designs
So you know how they re-added the FCM-36 and other French tanks? I think that could be a great way to introduce these interwar tanks for all nations. We could have WW-1 style lineups possible.

To be fair, the M2A2 is already in the American tech tree with a machine gun as the main weapon @@comradederp1576

The 152mm/SPG variant of T-100 was called T-100Z, Theres no video about it on RUclips sadly, you could only found some image on google
The T-111 looks like something I would make in Sprocket lol

Do you own the bt-sv in world of tanks
Honestly, I probably wouldn't add the T-18. It's really not 1.0 material. It'd be just as bad as the original French reserves.
