Your reviews and this instructional video are most welcome. Thank you! Please consider creating a video about how to use the controls, including selecting a user and program, and setting up with the AFG app. I've been struggling with this for a week after reading the manual twice and searching You Tube for lessons. Thanks.
Thanks for the tips - I have a different treadmill but I think I broke it when loosening the belt to lubricate. I've had it for 9 months but it just recently started playing up, it is such a hassle loosening the belt, I assume that is what messed it up. Luckily they've sent me a new one so I shall follow your method and hope I can get away without loosening - thanks! 👍
To turn off lube Belt message, for number 7.4 model, hold number 12 speed button and stop Button for 5 seconds. No one mentions that..Your Welcome...:p)
For the 7.0AT and older versions of the 7.4AT: Simultaneously hold down the Speed up button on the console near the middle dial and the Stop button for 5-7 seconds. For 7.4AT-04 Treadmills: 1. Update the console to the newest software. 2. Hold Speed Key 12 and the Stop button simultaneously for 5 seconds to clear the message.
glad to see you found a easyier way to lubricate the belt. I saw the issues you had with this treadmiil and then the follow up where you were happy with it. Just curious if your still happy with this treadmill. Any other issues to report. I am checking out treadmills with zwift compatability and this is one i am checking out. Thanks for any info you can share
Wow, I didn’t know you had to live the belt. I’m loosing at this type of treadmill. Thank you for showing how you take care of the belt. So does the treadmill, every so often tells you when to lube it? Or you just do it every so often? Kinda like your vehicle maintenance light comes on every 3,000 miles?
@@BGRFamily Thank you for the review. It’s a big help in deciding to buy a treadmill. I just got approved for the credit card. Just doing research before I buy now.
Hi, good nights. I have a question. I found in other channel that i need an app for it works this machine, i did not undestand, not it all, it is true?? Doesn't it works without app?? I hope You can answerme 🙏🏼
Hi there - you can use the treadmill without any kind of app and will have most of the functionality. You can use the AFG app to so do some additional things like change user names but we have only used the app once or twice in the almost 2 years we have had the machine. I am not sure if you need the app to do things like Stadia or Peloton courses since we have not tried to use those services. Hope that helps!
@@BGRFamily That u, you did and personally no want any app, i just want to ride on it and walk or run. I just wanted to make sure that I can use it without downloading any app
@@BGRFamily Thank you. I was worried I screwed up. I've been using it everyday for two weeks. I went and purchased that 16 oz bottle with syringe on Amazon. But I have to say the US Amazon is half the price as the Canadian one. I paid $30 for the 16oz bottle.
We don't specifically measure how much energy the treadmill is using, but it really isn't much in the grand scheme of things. What it will cost will depend on a few factors like how long you use it, how hard the treadmill is working (speed of the run, weight of the runner, etc), how many times a week you use it, and the cost of energy in your area. Where we are the cost of energy is around 9 cents per kilowatt hour, the treadmill is on a standard house outlet with a breaker providing a maximum of 15 amps of draw by the treadmill. With 115volts AC that all calculates out to an absolute maximum energy use of about 15.5 cents an hour. In reality, the treadmill will likely draw less than half of that with a normal workout. Really not that much. The real main cost of ownership for a treadmill is the outlay to purchase it and any ongoing maintenance items such as lubricating the deck if you go with one that needs that service regularly. Hope that helps.
Thanks for sharing! Just purchased and the belt is slipping just a tad; Did you have to lube the belt just after purchase? I’ve owned several treadmills and never experienced a slipping belt right out of the box.
Interesting, we did not have the same issue. The treadmill does come pre-lubed, so that shouldn't be the problem. The belt might need to be tightened, but that is a bit surprising right out of the box. Hope you get it sorted out. Thanks for watching!
I just purchased and assembled mine today. I was hoping you all fiddled with the Bluetooth more as that has been impossible, that app is horrible. I'm trying to find out if it will connect via Bluetooth directly without the use of that app, then I'll be fine
I would agree that the AFG Pro app is pretty awful. You can connect to the speakers for music via Bluetooth withou the app. For settings like user names, you need to the app. For connecting to services like Strava or Peleton, we don't use those and I don't know if you need to use the app to make that connection or not. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for your great detailed video & advice. Followed & made it so much easier than loosening the belt!
Glad it helped!

Thank you for a good video. I need a video and help with centering the belt and I was hoping you would talk about that.

Thanks for the detailed video.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it ie: don’t mess with the belt lol, great method!
Cheers for the video, far easier way to lubricate it
Glad it helped - thanks for watching!
Any water-based silicone lubricant will work.

Yes, the display will show "lube belt" after approx 150 miles of use. Thanks for watching

Do you need to lube it new out of the box or do you start the lube schedule after 3 months? The manual wasn't clear on this.
The equipment comes lubed. Lube at 3 months, or at 150 miles, whichever comes first. The machine will give a "lube belt" message at 150 miles.

Yeah, the price of it jumped considerably in Canada in the past couple years. Hope it works well for you.
Hello, what’s your average electricity bill for running on the threadmill everyday? I’m curious to know if it would be worth owning one.

Quick question on the electrical cord, do you know how long it is? Thanks!
Looks like 5-6 feet, I can't move the treadmill around right now to measure but that is my best guess.
Hope that helps.
