Glad you're aight. Making Mr. Pipegun and The Darwin Awards Brandon Herrera shocked proves it was a hell of an accident. Can't wait to watch the whole podcast brother man.
I was burnt to death saving my daughter on November 14th 2011. I spent 4years in those burn / skin graft compression wraps from my knees up. Died 4 times during my recovery. My heart really goes out to him. It's going to be a long road ahead and I wish him the best of luck.

Hi Eli, Thank you for open and taking about troubles that you have had over yhe years and how well you are going now. I am myself going through a rough time. I was hit by a forklift in the first quarter of the year and starting watching around that time. I am stuck in bed most of the due to back/ nerve issues and damage. I have also developed mental issues during this time. The last few messages from Eli have really reinforced to me that there is a light at the end no matter how dark it all looks now. I am started to cry typeing this but thank you.
So I’ve been trying to to drop a comment each week just to say thank you guys. I know you don’t need affirmation but I think it is deserved. You have done great keeping things going and beyond that keeping them so fun and interesting. I love seeing you donut nick and Brandon consistently. The interactions are hilarious and genuine. It makes for my favorite podcast without a doubt.
Okay. Ive now watched both videos. The footage of his accident is absolutely breathtaking. I cannot believe that he is in such good health. Im amazed at his recovery and wish him only the best. Sir. You are apart of an elite group, most of whom didnt sign up to be apart. To be blown up and then be concious enough to assess and treat your own wounds
Dude Elli i just wants you too know that this podcast and your personal messages about mental health help me so much. I am going through a tough time. But this podcast, my dad and my friends help me get through this and make sure i don’t unsubscribe to life
I dont have any social media so i cant DM any of you guys so i figured id tell you that ive listened to about 1/8th of your total videos and its helped me turn a bad day into an ok day dozens of times. Thank you.
After how harrowing this whole situation was, I think as a member of the audience, we all have felt a wave of relief to see all you healing here. I haven't laughed as hard as I have in a long time.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It also almost kills you, and it will make you even stronger to acknowledge that and deal with all aspects emotionally and physically.
Haven't had a chance to listen to this one yet, but I already know it's going to be a banger! Y'all been putting out an absolutely fantastic podcast, and I look forward to it every week! Thanks for all y'all's hard work Unsubscribe, you guys rock!

So I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not because like most, I don't read too many comments before posting. But when Bryce said "This was the last time he smiled in a month" it changed the way I was watching Adam, I would imagine that the amount of laughter and enjoyment he had must have been huge for his morale. Therapy of the best kind.... Meanwhile the emotional stress Bryce was under the entire second half was so visible like Brandon said at the end. Thanks to you all for putting on a great show, and @ballistichighspeed for excellent content.
I had no idea all this stuff about Adam’s background… he’s actually metal AF. It really sucks to see him hurt like that, but I’m not too worried about him after watching this episode. Seems like a tough dude, physically and mentally.
I hope the right people read this. But at 1:18:25 they joke with the one guy that doesn't know how to process what just happened to his friend and looking at his face it's bothering him a lot more than he's saying. I did two tours and remember that same look on some of the other Marines faces trying to comprehend what they had just saw. I've also had to go to the funerals of 7 of them that couldn't come to terms with the trauma of what we saw. This guy didn't have our training. He hasn't deployed and had to see war. What he's dealing with right now is no different than what my 7 friends were fighting when they took their own lives. They never asked for help. They seemed alright to everyone that knew them. Then they were just gone! Get this man some help! He's not going to ask for it, but at the very least habe a heart to heart with him if what he saw is keeping him up at night or he's having nightmares or anything like that. I may be wrong and hope to god I am, but I've seen those same looks on men who took their lives over things they couldn't get out of their heads.
Finding this podcast has gotten me through a lot of hard times. I wish I had more popularity to be a guest on your show. Sadly I'm just a guy that uses this podcast to make it through the days. Thank you.
So glad to see them here, I started watching Ballistic Highspeed with their 3rd or 4th upload, watching the original video caught me completely off-guard. So happy to see how they've grown as a channel and to see Adam alive.
That was a banger episode! So glad that y'all connected with these guys - been following Adam and Bryce for a while and hoping there would be collabs, so when I saw them sign on with Bunker, I was stoked. Not so stoked to hear that Adam got blown up; so so glad he's ok. Really amazing that he was able to be on the show with ya'll! Hard core, thank you guys so much!
Nerve regrowth/repair takes about 1mm per month if the body decides to attempt the repairs so its a long annoying process, Adam I hope your recovery goes well for you.
Honestly they probably both needed this more than you both can know, when you go through bad accident and trauma there is nothing better than seeing it through the lens of comedy, and normalising the experience with people who are not only in your community and field, but have context and experience. I keep say it but this podcast is going better than ever, and has transformed with the extra new hosts. Case in point is Brandon's insight and knowledge and Eli's experience and madcap humour which makes what could have been a very horrible, somber podcast into something else entertaining and cathartic. Thanks, and all the best to Adam on a speedy recovery. 🙏
Ballistic High-Speed and Kentucky Ballistics both awesome channels with tough ass dudes who survived incredibly crazy failures doing videos for our viewing and educational purposes. You are both true survivors of some of the absolute craziest circumstances. Keep being amazing Adam!
The Lord real is looking out for you boys. God bless everyone for surviving this and being able to openly discuss the incident. It's nothing short of a miracle that you are here 3 weeks after literally blowing up.
@sdrrshock5594 He can not stop us from doing dangerous things. But, you can be sure that when something this catastrophic happens to an individual and they survive, it is to be the work of a higher power.
Thank you brother for the up-lifting words, as a veteran, family man, blue collar worker, thank you. This years has been hard not just for me but my family as well. keep up the great content bro.
Glad to see Adams recovery. That video made me physically flinch and want to get out of the way. Last time i felt like that was when i saw Scott’s .50 cal blow up
There's so many parallels too. From the unexpectedly insane explosion, to the hard-to-watch reaction of Adam's body, to the multiple rounds fired just fine beforehand, to what I assume is supposed to be the last round fired, and the insanity of Adam's survival.
Eli's opening speech hit me hard. This time of year isn't great for me. (But each year it seems to be getting better) I just want to thank you and everyone else associated with the podcast for always taking the time to cheer us up, make us laugh, and remind us that the bad times will pass. Had to pause the vid till I could see again. Keep doing what you do, your audience appreciates you all.
I come here to feel normal. Eli your touching message at the beginning was exactly what I needed.I have been going through some shit lately and you really help me feel like holding on sometimes.
Make a "Touch grass, eat ass" - Shinzo Abe (probably) shirt /onesie and we will buy it!! @Eli - please continue your 4th wall break intros even after y'all film the new intro. They are the absolute best to see a real moments with Eli. -sincerly the unsub community
That explosion was the most horrifying video. Thank God Adam is alive. Pray for complete healing & recovery. Can see the trauma Bryce still has yet he showed Brandon & Eli the video and talked about that day. Thank you both for having the strength to share with UnSub. There was lots of laughter and I hope it was therapeutic. Thank you.
Went and subscribed to their channel and about to watch some of their videos. Adam looks great for someone who was blown up weeks before recording this podcast. Sounds like everyone reacted quickly to the situation and I am surprised he was walking everyone through how to treat him.
And here I am batching about having to get up off my creeper 78 times today and benching PTO and pump-valve under a dump truck with a few broken ribs. Homie is a trooper, best wishes and a speedy recovery to him.
Ah another good episode. Im happy Adam is okay. Jeesh that was some rough footage on Ballistic channel. Im amazed he is still here with us especially with TBI but its good he is here with us ! Nothing else to say that man is built different.
literally the fallout npc "I only survived because the fire inside of me burned brighter than the fire around me", amazing story to tell and even better since he can tell it himself
Honestly, that's some insane footage. The way he collapsed was terrifying just through the screen I can only imagine how it felt to be there, actually witnessing it, but also that some insane fortitude, to take that blast, and within 3 week to be up and functioning almost completely normally is truly a testament to how tough the human body is, but also to how tough Adam is as well, cuz there's many many people who, if put in his place, would not have survived that blast
1:00:11 I’ve seen me some live leave but this… this just hits different. Thank god he’s still around. I hope he makes a full recovery, god damn that just reset my perspective on a lot of things.
Bro when he talked about seeing the blast, looking over at homies wife and their faces. I got chills that won’t go away. I’ll never forget the same experience myself either.
And Vanderbilt Medical Center is amazing. I was born there. Had broken bones set there. The Cancer center and their burn center is as good as they come. And the VA hospital is next door to them. My Hematologist is a Vandy intern. My aunt graduated from Vanderbilt with a masters in American History. She would have liked Nick's take on history. Great episode...

But this podcast, my dad and my friends help me get through this and make sure i don’t unsubscribe to life
I started crying when I saw the footage 😭 bro.... Thank everyone who saved his life and got him back to looking like a human being 😭😭😭
Beautiful speech Eli!
I dont have any social media so i cant DM any of you guys so i figured id tell you that ive listened to about 1/8th of your total videos and its helped me turn a bad day into an ok day dozens of times.
Thank you.
Honestly, this podcast and everyone's videos and the humor they put into them have made me smile at my lowest points. You guys are great
After how harrowing this whole situation was, I think as a member of the audience, we all have felt a wave of relief to see all you healing here.
I bet Brandon is glad he saw this AFTER his RPG episode!
I can already tell by the thumbnail, this gonna be lit podcast!!!!!
2:11 this is some of the best advice ive heard in a while, and goes a long way considering what is happening in my life, i dont want to go into detail because i dont want attention of sympathy, i just want to say thank you.
It's like Adam completely defied the laws of physics. So glad you're relatively ok, brotha! That was INSANE!! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
I may be wrong and hope to god I am, but I've seen those same looks on men who took their lives over things they couldn't get out of their heads.
so glad for the uploads yall make my day fr love the real Eli bits just love how much of a positive reinforcement he is for everyone
Finding this podcast has gotten me through a lot of hard times. I wish I had more popularity to be a guest on your show. Sadly I'm just a guy that uses this podcast to make it through the days. Thank you.
“I was baptized twice, once in water once in fire”
So glad to see them here, I started watching Ballistic Highspeed with their 3rd or 4th upload, watching the original video caught me completely off-guard. So happy to see how they've grown as a channel and to see Adam alive.
Went to watch the footage first, that was gnarly. Thankfully you guys will bring some laughs into the world.
I normally watch these in several sittings but this one… damn I was locked in.
Glad he’s okay!
28:05 NGL, saw the clip of you guys talking about it, came to the pod, fast fowarded to the clip, then went back to the beginning and now im here
Nerve regrowth/repair takes about 1mm per month if the body decides to attempt the repairs so its a long annoying process, Adam I hope your recovery goes well for you.
Adam is 1 of the toughest men in the world.. Officially by Guinness book of world record's
Ballistic High-Speed and Kentucky Ballistics both awesome channels with tough ass dudes who survived incredibly crazy failures doing videos for our viewing and educational purposes. You are both true survivors of some of the absolute craziest circumstances. Keep being amazing Adam!
Now I want to see Kentucky Ballistics top this with “My tank exploded”. 🥴🤪🤠
yalls tangent on machining made me so happy. that's my area and love seeing other people get excited talking about it. the titans videos are awsome
The Lord real is looking out for you boys. God bless everyone for surviving this and being able to openly discuss the incident. It's nothing short of a miracle that you are here 3 weeks after literally blowing up.
If the “Lord” was looking out for him why did he let it blow up in The first place! 😂
Glad Adam is doing great after the accident. I bet Nick is gonna be pissed when he finds out y’all drank all his Busch light.
You a Patreon? 😂
@@anniesamuel4787 unfortunately no I’m not maybe one of these days.
@@johnrhodes4273 ahhh. Kinda what your talking about happened at the end of the Patreon video and it was hilarious. 🙂
I come here to feel normal. Eli your touching message at the beginning was exactly what I needed.I have been going through some shit lately and you really help me feel like holding on sometimes.
"But Did You Die"
I feel like having 30,000fps video of a rpg launcher exploding in your ear is a Guinness world record.
11:05 "like it literally blew up" and the look that followed it gave me a good chuckle.
I’m not a veteran by any means but I love all of you guys and I respect the hell out of all of you. I’m always here for anyone who needs a ear.
1:00:11 I’ve seen me some live leave but this… this just hits different. Thank god he’s still around. I hope he makes a full recovery, god damn that just reset my perspective on a lot of things.
Great to see Adam is doing well after such a horrible accident thankfully Byrce was able to keep a calm and took control
I can fully understand that. I know him is nothing more than a RUclipsr but watching him go through that makes me cry man. That's scary situation to go through I'm so glad he made it out
