I'm digging this "real time with Eli" at the start of the episodes. Almost feels like we're all part of helping our bro's mental health by giving him a moment to just be himself.
Brandon throwing up a cross to try and repel Eli putting a purple heart on him was incredible. The man saw his entire political career flash before his eyes. Thank you Jack, Eli, and Crispy for your service, and God bless you all. And Brandon too, I guess :)
That was the first time I've heard Crispy's story. Wow, I'm so grateful that you are still here. For how much we joke around, you are a beast. We truly need to be better taking care of vets.

@valravnsshadow9422 it depends on the Marine, honestly. Some you call an Ex Marine, and they will get upset. Some say exactly what you did. Some prefer former Marine. It really does depend on the individual. What is generally ment by what you said is, even when you leave the service, the service doesn't leave you. It's always a part of you. Edit: as my friend in the Navy says, " Navy, Army, Air Force, those are institutions. The Marines are a religion."

15:35 My dad was a Combat Engineer in Vietnam, and he told me that he got asked "Hey. You wanna be an operating engineer?"
