I've been watching a lot of your videos, great stuff and very informative! Ive got a 76 Evinrude 115hp two stroke.....had a very slight milkiness to the lower unit oil however it was missing the o-ring gasket on the lower drain screw. Top one had a gasket, bottom didn't. Could that most likely be the cause of the milkiness? Also I noticed that when you do a water pump on these outboards you shift it into reverse before pulling the lower unit. Do they always have to be in reverse to pull it or does it not matter? The manual doesn't say anything about it. Thank you in advance!

Hey Brandon, I've been watching your videos on v4 outboards for a while and find them very helpful. I know you've mentioned the "Joe Reeves Method" for timing v4s but have you ever considered making a tutorial on how to retime an outboard that's fallen out of sync using this method specifically?

Thanks for the Evinrude Johnson videos. Redundant but educational.
