I don’t doubt that it stays on. Not the issue with me. I can keep most polishes on if I prep and cap the free edge. Its the strength of the product. Dazzle dry is the only one that makes my onion skin nails feel as though they have a gel polish on giving it a little strength. DD makes my nails hard and not bendy. I really wish I could use other products. I am sitting here with a collection of over 70 polishes from amazing Indie companies and zoya. My nails will start breaking in a few days with these products.
I have similar concerns. My nails seem to delaminate....peel off from the tip if I leave polish on too long. Dazzle dry seems to have the least effect....
Just curious, in this video when you take off his nail polish the acetone appeared to change the color around his nails. I “assume” you are using 100% acetone AND I also “assume” his skin color comes back with a good wash and lotion/oil? Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the warning about the DD base coat kind of petering out as it gets used halfway up. I really think I am going to start buying small empty polish bottles to split up my large bottles. This stuff is so expensive I really can’t justify 50% waste (or loss of efficiency). I also get paranoid I am going to let some colors get too thick without realizing in time. Or ruin my bottles somehow. I hope I don’t sound nuts 😂
Hello, Thanks for that video. I was wondering if Expressie and Dazzle Dry could be mixed. For example, I like Purity from Dazzle Dry and I wonder if that color could be applied over an Expressie Quick-dry nail polish. I have a few colors from Expressie but they don't have anything like Purity nail polish from Dazzle Dry. I don't have any colors from Dazzle Dry collection yet. Thanks for your great videos.
Hi Elba! Thank you for your question! Honesty, I don’t think so. We were lazy one day and wanted to swatch DD over a regular base coat and the polish literally cracked as it was drying. I don’t recommend mixing DD has a completely different chemistry and it should be used as a system.

How long did the Essie take to dry? I have bendy, split in the shower while washing my hair kinda weak since forever and I have given up on nail polishes because everything chips on day 2 and the time it takes to put on a nail polish and wait for it to dry doesn’t feel worth it😞 So my question is from start to finish which hand dried faster?
It’s not a top coat after all. It’s just a clear polish :). You don’t need a top coat with this line although we are testing if you get better wear with the clear coat

I’m sure someone has mentioned it… The Expressie Always Transparent is not topcoat. It’s quick dry polish. Not sure this is an accurate comparison.

I haven’t tried it. I’m so spoiled with Dazzle Dry. I may give it a try though after watching this video!

Love your videos. Question have you tried mixing some more of newer DD base coat to older to see if help consistency?
No, I manage to use up maybe 3/4 of the base coat. I do warm it up before each use especially in the winter.

I think we did 2 coats and top coat. 1 coat is not enough despite what Essie says.

I tried the essie expressie today and it took two minutes between coats. And it lasts through my dishwashing
Also, I can’t find the Essie Expressie Top Coat you used in this video. When I go to Essie’s website it says it doesn’t need a top coat.
It doesn’t need a top coat. I thought it was a top coat and it was a clear polish. I thought I mentioned that later on in the video.
