I’m a A320/321 Captain for a US Airline. (It’s Auto-Thrust not Throttle you’ll drive the Airbus people crazy 😂) For takeoff you will want to use either Flex/MCT or TOGA (not Climb)and reduce to Climb once you reach Thrust Reduction Altitude. Also you don’t need to manually push the Auto Thrust push button as it will arm automatically oncee take off as you see in your video down on the FMA’s.

Flew the A320 for 8 years, and I enjoy flying the Fenix from time to time to get my Fix. I have the sim wings FCU and I’m pleased with its performance. Wish they would have included the dimming knobs underneath the FCU otherwise very happy.
Awesome and great value for money as well. If this thing can also sidestep into other aircraft, including GA as a generic AP controller and not just for the A320, it will be huge !!
You might The mini is about what I expect to be overcharged for a flight simulator hardware system. Winwing have broken the mould It's brilliant and I've had mine for two weeks

I like the smaller size (I have plenty of room, but also plenty of other hardware - hehehe). My only real negative with the MiniFCU is the lack of mounting options. I am going to end up trying to build a 'box' to house the Mini devices. Ooooo, didn't realize the price on the MiniFCU was that much (I got in on the Kickstarter and was one of the first 1000 so got it for $99). Hmm...
Great product ! I have modified it, so same functions work on Aerosoft CRJ ! I will test fly tomorrow...too late now. If all works, and I'm happy...then I'll configure for MD82/83/88 and PMDG 737 series. I have used Axis And Ohs, works great !

Got mine delivered yesterday, just awesome and working so well. Just one question, when not in use, when using the PC for other things, is there a way to switch it off, or is only possibble to unplug it in order not to have it on all the time?
I would have liked to have seen more about how I can customize the buttons with the software. For example what does the "Setup" button do? Can I assign Lvars to them? How can I control how each LED is lit up? Can this be customized for other planes that are not Airbus? I don't see a way (from the interface) to customize what the LCD displays. What does the streaming mode do? These are questions I haven't been able to find answers. I can do whatever I want with my MiniFCU with Spad Next. So unless this can be done with WinWing FCU I don't see myself switching over.
I ended up setting my winwings unit with fsuipc, I do not use/have spadnext, but their software (winwings) does leave a lot to be desired I have not been able to use it easily as the author here, now I play in VR so I suppose as long as knobs and switches work it's a-ok for me.. the software you see here, there really is nothing to it at this time to make any adjustments. I love the unit but if I played on monitor I would be very disappointed my displays do not work all lighted 100% like on test.. i am pretty confident they get it fixed up in time

Great video mate! I YES finally answer if I can use my ordered with SPAD or not so that great news! Have the miniFCU now with SPAD, I only fly in VR so in Fenix I have mapped all with the knobs animate etc... much more immersion in VR to see all animated then I turn/ push one the miniFCU so looking forward to do the same for the winwing, they should have added the 2 light dim knobs blow the FCU to control the lights.. would be killer immersion in VR instead use the mouse or key bind other hardware (witch I have) but better have it in the same place as the real deal ;)
There is a usb port and power port on the back of the unit but they only supply the usb cable is the usb cable sufficient if its plugged into a powered hub? Thanks for the vid
why exactly do I need to unplug my other hardware, is this written somewhere by Winwing? it's quite unconfortable, because everything is pluged into my PC and there is alot of stuff.
A USB hub is a device that plugs into one USB port and splits it into many ports. All they are saying is to plug it directly into the MB when doing things such as updating the firmware.
Good morning, OverKill, thank you for your review of this product. Very Impressive, however I'm a Boeing user and not that great with software. That mean I'm not interested in remapping and learn SPAD. I'd prefer to plug and play. So, if and when the create the same system for 737/777 I'm all in. Why is nobody doing these for Boeings ? A brown and Grey interchangeable facia would allow one to be used for the 737 and 777. And they're too cheap. At 200 bucks it would sell and be much better quality.
On the Airbus the push pull I alway's think of it as, Pulling it towards me gives me control, Pushing it away from me gives the plane control.
