WinWing user here. I found it to be 'plug and play' with no issues with the software or the install. I simply D/L'd Sim App Pro, launched it and connected the FCU via USB. It was detected by the software and I then updated the Firmware and launched MSFS and it all worked. I don't even need to launch Sim App Pro before each flight session with MSFS. Looking forward to purchasing all the other Airbus products that are coming.

I'm using the WingWing (have not tried the others to compare) but it has changed my simming experience. I don't just use it for the A320, I use it for every plane that has an AP system, and most recently for the 777. Typically, for non-A320 models I use AAO to set it up for each plane. For 777 I use Mobiflight (only because a true hero shared a Mobiflight/ 777 setup on Flightsim that works perfectly). I'm always in VR, and it's so easy to reach out and "find" the correct knob - it's been a real game changer for me! Granted, I'm sure you could use the other 2 products in the same way, but I can only speak to this one. As for the WingWing software, I also had to scratch my head at first, but once I got it set up I have had no issues with it. But you're correct, definitely could have used a bit more info on it at first.

I strongly disagree with your comments regarding the software on the WinWing. I found this to be completely plug and play. I followed the instructions, installed the software. Plugged in the unit and ran FS2020. The software detected that I was flying the FBW A320 and the FCU worked flawlessly. I think to offer a fair review you should have done a clean install on all three units using the latest software instead of repeating your original comments from the review you posted months ago.

Gavin, i think if you including the Wingflex at that level of cost, you have to consider the slightly cheaper Skalarki offering, coming in at £860 for Capt and FO MCDU & EFIS, or £640 for MCDU and just Capt's EFIS. SUPURB build quality, simple software interface. These guys make the gear for professional flight simulators, but have a desktop version for the prices above. All USB plug and Play.

@@SchmidtyC Yes, my mistake, I meant the FCU + Capt's EFIS for £690, which when compared to the WingFlex offering is cheaper!. To be very Honest i never use the FO EFIS at all, Maybe i might set 'Airports' on that side, but again being honest it is not needing. As a Bundle they all connect together with one power lead and daisy chained with a USB cable. EASY plug and Play software, and can do Fenix & FBW A320, and the Headwind A339. I had problems getting the WinWing running and when I finally got it running. When you first load the WinWing software, I don't understand why they put this option in there. It ask; Are you the sole user or everybody can use. If you selected the "sole operator", then each time you run the WinWing software, you have to right click and, "Run as Administrator". Then run MS Flight sim normal, you don't have to run MSFS as the Administrator.

The WinWing was more affordable but was only compatible with the MSFS default A320, and Fly By Wire A320 aircraft (don’t own Fenix) The Mini FCU (more expensive) worked with ALL the Airbus aircraft that I own in MSFS A318, A319, A320 MSFS default, A320 FlyByWire with no issues or problems. I eventually get it working but it always entails a software restart and/or unplugging and plugging in the USB. I personally like when I can use mobiflight for this type of hardware because it works and it is extremely flexible.
Once the unit is working in the sim, it works very well, no problems, and very responsive. The one issue I have is that the LCD screen does not get very bright, but this just may be my unit. The back lighting is really bright. All in all, it was the price that led me to this unit, and the build quality really would be worth it at twice the price.
