Mine is on the way 🎉 is there no D12 support at the the moment meaning do I have to run MSFS in DX11? Do the rotary knobs have those little detens when turning them or are they completely free without any tactile feedback? Thank you very much for your video and the feedback.
The reason it was wobbly on your desk is that you attached the brackets in the wrong place for that. For desktop use they attach to the sides of the unit, you had them in the position used to attach to aluminium profiles.
Just got in today, unplugged my HC Alpha and Bravo, and listening to you first! lol I knew before it wasn't plug n play before I bought, so I didn't feel like "figuring it out myself" with hours of frustration wasted- came here first!

I went from: „the SIM is a Dream for my Late life“ to „what i can afford this??“. Its an incredible Price Point and i Hope for throttle quadrant, Ecam Panel etc. A good time to be alive for me Ngl.
Received mine today. Awesome quality for the price. Slight headache understanding what was needed to do in the sim pro software. Once that was sorted works really well with Fenix a320. Love it👍
I got mine Monday. Flew in the Fenix and it was completely responsive (as in seemed to mirror one to one turning knobs pushing in and out) but the FBW doesn’t. I thought something was maybe wrong lol but seeing it do the same in yours I feel better.
Received my unit yesterday. Great quality, knobs and rotaries are very tactile, detents are solid. MSFS DX12 is supported but there is a still a bug, every 20-40sec the two displays flicker (off/on) like a blink of an eye. Reported to the support, reponse was very fast - they are working on a seamlessly DX12 version. Xplane 12 (Toliss) yet not supported, following in/at May.
How is delivery times currently? Any experience on time from order to shipment? Also on their 60 USD sidestick. And when are the EFIS and MCDU expected to ship? I might wait to order all those four items together.
Hi Mark, whenever I need help with settings, I always look at your channel first, I have been flying a Gulfstream 980 PropJet Commander 695 for the last 25 years. I have been flying MSFS for a year now. Here's my problem. There is no TC in MSFS, but I found a close resemblance, the AzurPoly OV-10 Bronco. It has the same Garrett TPE-331 engines as my TC. My problem is: I can't get the Power Lever/Condition Levers to configure to their proper detents and settings. I use the Honeycomb BTQ. @@SimHangerFS There's someone on MSFS forum saying that "Simapp pro" disables DX12 in the usercfg file. So you might be in DX11 without knowing. Can you double check ? Cheers.
@@SimHangerFS no, you did not. simapp pro disables dx12 via editing your usrcfg without letting you know. winwing did acknowledge that its app is not compatible with msfs dx12 beta - even to umberto from fsdreamteam. you just didn't notice yet

Hey, thanks for the video. i have a problem with my winwing fcu. If i use the flybywire a320 i can use alle function but unfortunatly the screen of the fcu is still black. How does it works on yours?
I think you have to have the SimaAppPro opened every time you want to use it. Whenever you load your aircraft in the sim, after turning ON the battery, you have to select the FCU in the app, that will take you to another screen with the buttons and some sliders. Among these sliders there is one that control the screen back lights, try to move them and check if it will pick it up in the sim. Another thing is to update the FCU, in that App. Sometimes you have to play a little bit with the App in order to sync the FCU with your sim.
@@Ipb79 Yes, I can confirm that. By sliding the "screen backlight" to the left the screen begins to light up. I have also changed to the stable FBW version, maybe that helped as well. Still don't know what the yellow slider does, but as with most chinese companies documentation and instruction are unknown words to them. If the unit integrates with other planes like A330 and GA it would be perfect! So far all A320's of the simulator work as advertised.
Hello, I just received my FCU, I tested it but I struggled a bit because I didn't know if a driver was needed. I tested it on the Asobo A320, it seems to work, a question is nagging me can we make it work on a PMDG 737? Do we need to create a profile? Or configure it in the WinWing controller interface in FS2020? I have a lot of questions because I would like it to work with the PMDG. Give me your opinion on these questions which will be useful to everyone. A big thank you.
Hello, unfortunately, mine does not work out of the box. I installed all the ncessary programs and in SimAppPro only the first ones turn green, and the rest stay in white. Not sure what to do.
My unit should be delivered today. It would be great if they also released a MCDU. Maybe with a more generic layout so that it can be used on everything from MadDog and 146, to 737 and A320.
Does this work with Boeing as well? I know push pull is not there, but still can u control the Speed, Heading and Altitude with this FCU? Does this work with Xplane 12?
OK Guys, I found why the Apps do not work. We MUST start it in Admin mode, and same for MSFS. We can follow the progress in the environnement windows of the SimAppPro. NOTE: purchase process in marketplace do not allow me to pay the addons when purchasing, this must be done in non-Admin mode.
The lcd screen won’t work for me in the FBW. The screen works fine in the test portion of SimAppPro, but nothing when in the sim. All the buttons light up green correctly when active. In SimAppPro the ‘simulation initialization phase’ is stuck with 0x0003 reading in red. Any ideas?
Did you update the firmware? Be sure to plug the device straight into the motherboard during the firmware update process. After It's updated. You can plug it back into a USB hub. Also make sure SimAppPro software is running in administrator mode and is up to date. Good news an update is out fixing the DX12 issue, and other things. 1.13.4 1.Compatible with DX12. 2.Fixed the bug that the LOC and APPR indicators of FlyByWire A320 are invalid. 3.Fixed the bug that the knob is invalid when entering the game for the first time. 4.Fix the bug of user missing runtime library. 5.Fixed the bug of invalid fields in Flight Simulator 2020 user configuration file. 6.Fixed the bug of overlapping images in Flight Simulator 2020. 7.Fixed the bug that caused FCU to be out of sync due to the presence of multiple graphics cards. 8.Fixed the bug that some users’ computers could not recognize FCU devices.
Hi Mark, Just got my Winwing FCU yesterday and started gaming. I have a concern, the top LEDs which shows the SPD, HDG and ALT, looks much dimmer than the overall lighting on the FCU. Even though I adjust the brightness in the SimApp Pro, after restarting the PC, the brightness setting default to normal. The App values remain the same as how we changed it, but the actual LEDs look dim. Not a big problem, but annoys me a bit. Any solutions? Another general question. When I try to load a saved flight in MSFS, the flight plan does not load in, so the NAV mode does not work. How to overcome this problem?😊
You have two led brightness knobs in the A320 under the main console. Turn up the brightness there, the led on the FCU replicates the brightness setting in the aircraft. Depends which aircraft you’re flying. If Fenix or FBW etc you need to import your flight plan via the EFB directly from SimBrief.
@@SimHangerFS Flight plan issue is there with Cessna G1000 as well. Flight plan is missing when a saved flight is reloaded. Actually, it is not the flight plan itself. The waypoints are there, but the magenta line connecting the way points is missing, so the NAV mode does not work.
@@SimHangerFS it's an absolute impertinence from Winwing, not officially telling it isn't working with DX12... I need it, otherwise DLSSG is not working. I canceled my preorder now, and learned a lesson, don't do business directly with chinese. 😮
@@Hughes2405then you’ve made. Boy mistake. Because they’ve outlined what simulators , aircraft and sim versions are working. I spoke with them just last night and they said that they’re going to try to get compatibility with DX12 by April 20th. All you had to do was reach out and try to communicate they’ve been very responsive , remember that there’s a time zone difference so be mindful my interactions with them has been nothing but stellar. You were a bit impulsive and rash
I´ve just found out, after fighting with the software, that it DOES NOT work with DX12. It crashes the Sim if you try to run it on DX12. Hope that someone finds a way to fix this issue. The other "problem" that I have is, it ONLY works with FENIX on MSFS2020, nothing else, and it DOES NOT work on X Plane 12. A bit sad for all of this, but hopping that things will get resolved. Thank you!

@@danielpike3778 the knobs have detents. You can use DX12, but the app uses DX11. Update soon from Winwing to resolve.

Not really a short amount of time when you've been here since Flight Unlimited 2 / Pro Pilot 99 and FS98!! But, it is amazing to see how it is now!
For many(including self) it's a dream as the real deal is too costly....

In the sim app pro select virtual device mapping tab - tick the box activate virtual device mapping. It will prompt a msg follow the instructions.

Try mounting it on the side when I did that it’s stable the back is front heavy but the sides are stable

There is anyway that you can switch the lights off instead. It’s always on when the PC it’s on?
Have you tried it in DX12 mode ? I've heard that there's issues when running using DX12.
All my tests were in DX12

This is not working on DX12. I confirmed this with the support of winwing.

@@jibulissan oh…okay. Yes a limitation on saved flights in MSFS. Best to load flight plans from world map.
@@SimHangerFS I use Little Navmap to make flight plans. How do you fly long haul flights with flight plan, when reloading a saved flight??

Only Airbus out the box, but it is recognised in SpadneXt so I guess it is configurable
