    I love love paynoose. I had this when I was growing up. My grandma had a friend who had cows and she got the milk from her to make the paynoose. Thank you for sharing.

    I am a Trinidadian and not that many people do youtube in trinidad so it's good to see trini youtubers it's my dream to be one but my mum said no so I am waiting till I am 18 lol btw I am 12

    Omg this brought back so much childhood memories! My aunty used to make this when her cows gave birth. I could smell it. Will have to add to my ‘to make ‘ list.

    oh yummy. I love love paynoose. had this alot when I was growing up. my parents had cows and was very happy when the cows would make young 😊. there's also the cheese one but prefer this☺thanks for sharing👍

    My Mom made this often with just regular powdered milk. Also she used brown sugar to give it a more caramel look. Delicious!

    OMG I haven't had this since I was a toddler. I grew up on a farm on Arima this was one of my favorite things to eat. Thanks alot for this recipe.

    I use to put lime juice in fresh cows milk to get the curds.

    I can't remember the last time I had this, Its really hard to get the milk but I guess I could use this method instead, hopefully it will taste the same

    My cheat recipe for paynuse is to use paneer. Hopefully I'll get a video out soon. Maybe near Christmas because too may Diwali sweets lol

    wow so many of the dishes are the same as in Guyana.
    I dont understand why they would take away the milk from the calf, as the calf would need it to be strong. But Indians were farmers so I guess they knew what they were doing

    Hi Natasha..the recipe has 1 1/2 cups powerded milk but the audio has 1 cup. Can you please clarify?

      Vera Rampersad its 1 cup powdered milk and even if u use 1 1/2 thats ok you will get more curds.

    My mom just followed this recipe to a T and it never curdled even after an hour on the stove. Don't know what went wrong!

      It could mean either the milk didn't have enough solids or you needed to add a little sugar to help it curdle with the lime juice.
