If you were like me wondering how this recipe will turn out.... please try it it's the most authentic doubles I've tried ....taste like the real thing!!!!!
Tried this recipe a few days ago. This is the best doubles recipe I came across. Bara and Channa was perfect! I didn't have baking soda to boil the channa but used baking powder and was still able to get the same smoothness. It just took a little longer than if baking soda was used.
I'm making this today for my family ☺️ Thanks for recipe . My son hasn't had doubles in over a year and is asking every day . I never fail with your instructions . Thanks 😊❤️
Those look PERFECT! Just the way I like the channa, not too runny like most restaurants make. I like a little thick, and the bara looks amazing! I’m glad you mentioned you don’t need to use sugar in the bara dough, I always hesitate to use yeast because of the need for sugar. Learned something new today 😊
Thank you for this recipe, made doubles yesterday using this recipe and omg!!! It was amazing. Made the cucumber chutney as well (chefs kiss) thank you so much

@@TriniCookingwithNatasha thanx..🙏🌷🌷
The dhal is the secret to that channa 👌🏻👌🏻❤️
Waiting for your authentic doubles recipe with ground yellow split peas (ground dhal)
You are the best!!! Great food.
I cant get texture of dough the water is too much... I dont know🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ the smell is yeasty... Ill try it again...love your channel ❤
You have to add the water in small amounts to make a soft dough. If the yeast is to much you can cut back on the amount or try a different brand.
Can I use this recipe to make my aloo pies?

Can I cut the recipe in half?
This looks like the real deal... just like the double vendor!
