CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Sent by Hades, Calibos (Jason Flemyng) attacks the soldiers and tries to kill Perseus (Sam Worthington).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The 1981 mythological fantasy adventure Clash of the Titans is resurrected in this remake from Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier. Discovered at sea as an infant by a weary fisherman, demigod Perseus (Sam Worthington) grows up with no real knowledge of his celestial origins until his watchful guardian, Io (Gemma Arterton), informs him that he is the offspring of Zeus (Liam Neeson). When Zeus' brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) casually wipes out Perseus' family, the grieving son vows to show the gods just what kind of damage humankind can inflict on its creators. Before long, Perseus and a small group of soldiers are venturing out into the desert in order to find a way to stop the Kraken, a terrifying force of nature that an indignant Hades has vowed to unleash upon man should they fail to offer up beloved princess Andromeda (Alexa Davalos) as a sacrifice. Along the way, the soldiers encounter a trio of frightening witches with second sight, contend with Hades' devoted servant Calibos (Jason Flemyng), battle giant scorpions, and come face to face with Medusa (Natalia Vodianova), the dreaded gorgon whose gaze has the power to turn men into stone.

The original is a hundred times better. Persius looks like he got out of marine boot camp in this one. No feeling of Greek authenticity in this film at all. Horrible! Medusa is still hotter than most real woman even with her snakes. She’s supposed to be hideous. The disaster this film was could not even be masked by CGI.

R means restricted. PG-13 means parents strongly cautioned. This movie fits the latter much better. Technically it could be PG because that means parental guidance but whatever, that rating is clogged by cartoons that should be G.

Cut off his hand, the camera zooms in to the severed hand becoming sort of a scorpion, giant scorpions appears, we never see the severed hand again....
What is this abomination,Calibos was not like the 1981 version ,The 2010 version was poor .Stick to the 42 years old version in my view , Lawrence Olivier ,Burgess Meredith,Harry Hamlin ,Neil McCarthy,Tim Piggott-Smith and Judy Bowker,Maggie Smith to Ursula Andress made the 1981 version a success,The 2010 looked more like Game of Thrones to a remake 😂😂😂Hollywood should left this alone .Born in 1973 Grew up in the 1980s ,The 21st century remakes of Classic movies are just poor .

Haha true, but that's the way it was in the original film, too. I'm sure Ray Harryhausen knew how the original myths were, but they took many creative liberties to fit the story better
It's not meant to adapt the original myth 1:1. It's a remake of the original Clash of the Titans from the 80s, you dork.
