- For those who are falling into sexual sin, the root cause is that they've opened a door for it somewhere in their life. They must be violent and close the door they've opened to allow this sin in. They must not be passive when it comes to putting sin to death. In the New Testament, the attitude is a radical, militant killing of sin.

we thepeople I have to wonder who you think will enter the kingdom of God. Because it seems you are opposed to any Christian pursuing holiness in their lives. We are saved by grace through faith and I don’t think any Reformed Christian thinks we are saving ourselves. But we pursue holiness out of a love for God and because He tells us to. I love the Lord and all other true Christians do too. But the Bible says if we say we love God, we should keep His commandments. And that not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven, but the person who does the will of the Father. We don’t try to save ourselves, but we follow after Jesus Christ as we walk in new life with Him.
Same for women
For me that one gate I needed to close to be set from a porn addiction was video games. Once I stopped playing video games I was drawn A LOT closer to God. It’s not entirely about the sin of porn it’s about the sins that lead you to it.

Remember the idle mind is the devil's workshop. We have to MAKE ourselves pray and meditate constantly on the Word; sing hymns, Psalms, and spiritual songs to ourselves like Scripture/Jesus tells us. We have the power of the blood, the Holy Spirit to say no. Be encouraged+
Well said man, I think need to be even more strict with myself in this matter.
I struggled with sexual sin for 10 years and I’m 24 now and I got serious about leaving it behind a week and a half ago. I desperately wanted to be free of this sin and I couldn’t stop. I am a Christian. The main this is to love Christ and love others and pray for strength. That’s it. That’s how you defeat this monster. Remind yourself of Christ’s love, listen to sermons, stay off your phone. Porn is the lack of love for others. Stay off your phone and pray that the Lord will give you strength to put away your phone. Even tho I’ve stopped watching soft porn, it’s hard to stop watching videos on my phone since I get bored and I don’t have many friends outside of work.
Blue Shell the longer you resist the devil he will flee the longer you stay in prayer And fasting and Bible reading your flesh will stay submitted to God..
I know loneliness personally And intimately but Jesus is the answer and the only cure i thank God he has brought you as far as he has..

Lynn Strickland Thank you for the kind words friend. Today I asked God to show me how much I am failing at in certain places and I’m glad I got an answer but I’m concerned about it. I’m failing in a lot of areas, more typical in the fear of man umbrella, with rejection of people, sensitivity, shy, that’s why I wasn’t going to church for 1 year because I was afraid of rejection, my previous church felt the same way towards me, their words, how they looked at me. I love watching Wretched and a video was recommended to me today that was from 2015 that talked about the fear of man. I’ve surely grown a lot in my walk with Christ, but there’s always a need for improvement. He who began a good work will finish it.
You are not alone. You could say almost every young man who has access to Internet has the same problem.

Absolutely and Amen. To be consistant this can apply to other forms of sins like pride similar to the self righteous Pharisee in mentioned Luke 18:9-10.

we thepeople You show a vitriolic anger towards the teaching shown and the Christians teaching it. I would say you should examine yourself because as 1 John 3:14 says, “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death.” I pray you would open your eyes to the truth. All the video is promoting is believers to pursue holiness. Is this not a biblical goal?
we thepeople You constantly say why am I saved in my sins, why not others. I am saved in my sins because the Holy Spirit raised me from my spiritual death and brought me to new life and gave me the free gift of eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why any person is saved. The reason other people are not saved is because they suppress the truth that they know about God in unrighteousness and follow after darkness rather than light. If they were born again as I was, then they would stop following darkness and would follow light. First comes faith, then comes good works. I wouldn’t go up to a lost person and say stop sinning and do good because that is not the biblically accurate position. I would say put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and I would try to get that person to have faith and repent. Only a person who has faith can do good so first comes faith, then the necessary proof of that faith is good works. Because to say one has faith and doesn’t have works is wrong because faith without works is dead. I never said I wouldn’t love a person who is lost. We are called to love all people. I pray for the lost that they would come to faith but I know that if they don’t come to faith, they will spend and eternity in hell. I love them enough that I’ll warn them of their state. I was saved as a sinner and other people also have to be saved as sinners. We don’t make people do good then become saved. People are saved and then they do good because of a new heart which desires spiritual things. My sins are forgiven and all people who would put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will also be forgiven. My sins are only forgiven by the obedience and sacrifice of Jesus. He took the penalty for my sins and He imputed to me His righteousness. A true Christian is not the same as every other lost person. Before we were saved we were, but after salvation we are part of a holy nation, a royal priesthood, a chosen race. We invite others to join this body by faith and to be separated from the world and joined to Jesus Christ. We are called out of our lost state that we can declare the excellencies of Christ to the world and call the world to repentance. I am upset not that you are not up to my standard but because you are proclaiming a false doctrine. I would say amen that whosoever fails in one point of the law is guilty of it all. But it is not up to us to keep the law to be saved. But it depends on faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that makes it so the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Sexual sin is something I struggle with, the internet is THE BIGGEST PROBLEM with the world today.It is so easy to click on a web page and before you know it you make a truce with sin.
pray to God a lot, i have the same problem, but i refuse to lose hope now

I struggle with self- gratification (masturbation). I try to justify it by only thinking about “a fictional woman” during the act. By “fictional” I mean that I try to invent a woman’s face in my mind so then I’m not technically lusting after an actual person. What is your opinion of this? My conscience is far from clear.

Rick Martin bro. Theres a story in the Bible that tells in the old testament that there was a brother who had to marry his brothers wife bc he died and left no child.
back then when this happened a male family member would marry her and then raise up seed to keep his brothers name alive
however this particular brother didnt want to raise up seed so the Bible said he wasted or spilled his seed on the ground and the thing he did displeased the Lord and the Lord slew him..
I know that that it can be argued the seed spilling wasnt the sin it was the fact he didnt raise up seed but he didnt raise up seed bc he spilled his seed on the ground this tells us there is supposed to be a man and a woman in a relationship of marriage one to give life
