Fruit flys always seem to emerge from my snail/beetle enclosures. Its so annoying!

Hey I just found out there little bugs in my terrarium, there’s only two types of bugs one is white and can jump pretty far and the other is brown. I have josh frogs tropical substrate, oak leafs litters and fake plants for both of my terrariums but only one of them is infested with these bugs. I need to know if they are harmful or not and if so how can I get rid of them? Thanks
hi! i've been having the same problem with my crested gecko tank. I see that this comment is old, but did you ever find out if the bugs are harmful or why they kinda come out of no where?

I started getting little white bugs I'm shore there mites but I'm only getting them in my created geckos food bowl but I can't see any other mits none on the substrate or fake plants I have I'm just really confused on were there coming from

@@IsaacCV760 yeah actually it's been a good while but I've literally cleaned out my full tank with boiling water and took out my substrate and used boiling water and vinegar and boiled everything like my fake plants and other things in my tank and I've been doing this basically everything 2 weeks since I left the comment and there still appearing I only seen a few in my tank and I only seen 1 bug in my other tank
@@IsaacCV760 and there's no video on what kind of mites thay are but thay seem to look really similar to wood mits so I think it's wood mites and I have these ledges that's made out of wood do you think thay could be living instead there I have cleaned and boiled everything in my tank and cleaned out my tank a bunch of times so I don't really know what to do
@@tyicbranch2734 sucks to hear, I’m having some trouble also but I’m using Apple cider vinegar trap to kill all of them.
@@IsaacCV760 what kind of mites do you have I'm having massive trouble and don't forget to put your crested gecko or other reptile in a tub of slightly warm water that's just covering your reptiles legs and cold will scare the reptile and splash the water over your reptile and check it's ears neck and armpits for mits because thay can go on your reptile and do that few times and get fresh water again clean out the tube and repeat and dose what kind of trap are you using
