Sleep well America. Sleep well.
The federal government can take over the ports and man them with military personnel to keep things coming in. And YES the army knows how to run a port.
But it won’t come to that. This is a sign of the economy turning downward.
The gov’t. would rather send them to war overseas.
Or jail birds
I love Walmart store
What about Sam's club
Have you been following the marvel cinematic universe
Dude Agatha all along
Wo😢
What about Jake from State farm
I'm not sure if that is true about us refusing to offload diverted ships, and if it were up to me, I would offload all ships, because when we were going through our new contract negotiations and a lot of ships were sent to the east coast, they didn't have a problem accepting diverted ships from west coast to east coast.
I remember last time something like this happened. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis told them to bring the ships here. Some did!
I dont believe its only about pay, if at all
Didn't we just go through this a few years ago?
Buy the stock market dip.
Retailers know this. Holiday goods are already in the country. No automation hahahah.
🎉does this effect Amazon!?!
Automate and we won't have this issue in the future.
Automate and a tax base will be lost. When one tax base is lost another one has to be found or taxes have to be increased to make up for the loss. There will also be a loss of jobs.
I went grocery shopping for the full month.
Bring back jobs here, or automate the ports kick them out of jobs
Apparently do you just want to see port made much bigger so they can afford more work.Have more workers there to do it since they don't want automation to speed things up
They couldn't finalize that many contracts at once anyway.
It sounds similar like UPS strike last year. Now UPS laid-off 45k employees in 3 years. The UPS employees work almost 25 years to get pension now they get no pension from UPS company. 😂
We got through the mayhem, the unmitigated insanity of Covid. Not even ever finding out where it came from. If we got through that puzzle, we'll get through this strike, again. They always plan things during or just before a major holiday. Having food on the table is more important than the latest phone, game, etc. Boss won't be able to get to work either... That'll humble some bosses. 🎩🤔‼️
Some stores are already selling christmas stuff. Perhaps this is why.
Christmas inventory is ordered in July at the latest. It's already in the warehouses and stores. Some stores had last year's holiday stuff left over and are putting that inventory out earlier to make room for new stuff. I've seen Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree put out Christmas items in August.
They won't be strike on for long. A couple of days.
Thank goodness I don't shop at these giants...
Unfortunately It will be half of all goods we consume
I do shop at Home Depot cause I’m a painter and I get 20% off my paint! So I rely on Home Depot for my paint. I mean, yeah could I buy paint at Sherwin-Williams? Sure, I hate Sherwin-Williams paint but could I I could
But the same supplies are at normal grocery stores.
Remember Years back when they fired airport employees for striking be careful what you wish for!!
Stop buying stuff eliminate fixed expensive find a cave snd a garden i could read that book
Time to get rid of the M A F I A.

Bid3nomics strikes again.
C'mon wake up scabs or executive order
the government needs 2 stop these strikes
I feel like they are doing that on purpose
before they collapse, remember to pay all their taxes
Bring back the : SCABBERS!!! Tell us what the longshoremen get paid!!
Give them their raise, and they cannot stop Automation, that is like trying to stop the future. AI and robotics our here to stay its the future
Maybe Maybe Maybe
Will the STATE 😊 own these stores?
