- With just a few days to go until Rugby World Cup 2023 final between South Africa and New Zealand at the Stade de France in Paris, the Boks Office team reconvene for a very special episode. Host Hanyani Shimange is joined by Springbok legends Schalk Burger and Jean de Villiers, and All Black titans Justin Marshall and Andrew Mehrtens to debate who they think will come out on top on Saturday!

The Boks Office was one of the highlights of the 2023 World Cup. The best rugby show I have seen probably in forever. Do not stop after the World Cup. 🎉

Merthins and Marshall are both legends and as a Bok supporter I must say I have a lot of respect for them. Was a real privelagde listening to them and fun, brilliant show guys

@@mthabitX NZ disowned Kirwan and gave him back to Italy, we just can't manage to get him off air and have to watch all foreign coverage.
This show gets the most views almost immediately. It just feels like a bunch of fun guys you'd love to have a beer with, it's been so fun watching this series. Woohoo, this was the best final line up! Boks vs ABs, couldn't be better!

However, losing to Ireland, France, Argentina, England, Scotland or Wales (on their day) wouldn't embarrass me at all. This game is for everyone and there's no one team that I want to have world domination, not even my own Bokke!

As an All Black supporter I can say it will never be over. Of course winning is great and losing is a drag but the occasion is the most important. May future All Black and Bok encounters continue and for us to enjoy this great game. This is more important than the results. Without one team there is nothing left. This game is going to be epic. Great respect.
As an Irish born WhenWe, ex Zimbo, ex Saffa, and now a kiwi, it’s been so moosh (lekker etc) hearing the humour and banter, as well as the rugby knowledge coming out of you lot.., you gotta keep it going. And please make sure it’s syndicated to NZ tv. Marshy & Mehrts you guys are legends and I think I speak for a lot of southern Africans when I say that. May the best team win (ie the Boks) 🙂
Hi Shimmy and all the guys. Scotland fan here, I've really enjoyed watching the Boks Office through this last few weeks and if the will is there, I would love to see this podcast continue to be a presence. I think the Final will be everything that is good about rugby and there's no doubt the right two teams are there contesting it. France and Ireland have been wonderful to watch too, but I always felt that the final would be between the ABs and the Boks from the start. I've enjoyed all the banter that has been such a feature between fierce foes on the park, but such good buddies off it. My respect to you all, and may the best team win! Thanks for your commitment and insight, lads! I've enjoyed it immensely! 👍

Shimmy has to be an outside reward the Rugby fans in general have won. What a legend, what a presenter. He connects every guest into any convo beautifully.
As a South African and a huge Bok fan, I could not have wished for a better team to meet in the final the Mighty All Blacks, all South Africans said at the beginning of the world cup never underestimate the Mighty All Blacks like most countries and poles and media said and they showed not one bit of respect for the world's great Mighty All Blacks and coach, we never did!, now these two greatest teams face each other on the biggest stage and a massive shout out to Ian Foster on what he's done for New Zealand Rugby and there great Captain Sam Cane for leading his team to the final. Huge respect from me and all South Africans may the best team win.
This has been the BEST shows with absolute Legends having a good chat and laugh while giving their views. Tops, Guys Well Done! Its so nice having watched them play against each other at the highest level and now getting to hear them talk and their personalities!

Compared to most other international rugby podcasts that then to get a bit toxic at times, the Boks Office is a breath of fresh air. Everyone is having a good time, uplifting and positive. Love it! Keep it going 👍

I absolutely love the energy and friendship these guys display. Battled each other on the pitch in the past and now like brothers. Just amazing. I think this only happens between the All Blacks and the Springboks. Big Jim Hamilton from Scotland will also fit nice into this group. Correct me If I am wrong.

You Okes are bloody legends! I have watched all your episodes and I have to say, the trio of Shimmy, Schalla and Jean is the kiffest. They are your typical 3 South African (Saffas for the English ... hmm hmm... 32-12) dudes just chilling at a mates house having a beer and talking smack, with a touch of Ruggas, and even taking stabs at, not only each other, but even the ABs Old Boys. Such great Banter! Put a big smile on my face! Thanks for representing ... I nominate the three of you to forever be known as SA's The Big 3.
And to Justin Marshall and Andrew Mehrtens, thank you, what absolute Gents. This is why we respect the All Blacks so much, because over the last decade, the rivarly has not only grown stronger, but the bonds formed between the two nations are even stronger off the field. Rugby has made it almost gaurenteed that if I bump into a Kiwi, I know I have a new mate that with a common interest, Rugby!
It really makes me proud to not only be South African, but also to be a very proud supporter of Rugby in general. May the game be great for eternity.

Guys....huge rugby lover here. Been following the game for over 30 years watching at least 45 rugby games a year. Also watch many rugby shows. This first time I watched your show.
