- My good luck came to an abrupt and long-winded end but I finally got my shiny Lileep after 34,722 SRs for my Ruby Dream Team Quest. The green is super vibrant and this is for sure one of my favourite Pokemon ever so I'm so happy he finally shined. It looks great in Pokemon Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness too!
I really don't have the best Fossil luck, at all. My average for three Fossil hunts is 31,000 resets which is just... wow. I really need to stop saying "I don't like summary screen hunts" because it always curses me.

You reset 34,722 times and each reset took approximately 16 seconds. 34 722 × 16 is 555,552 which would be 154 hours, you are literally a hero of patience

Baby Carl Personally i favor shiny hunting in older generations, it got a charme to it and is more favorable than just breeding in those 3D Nintendo games, where the chance is half the chance of the pixel games. Also i like how look shiny sprites are way more and the animation than in the 3ds games. But thats just my point of view.

Sonikks, your patience and resolve is truly astounding and inspiring. I’ve been having a difficult time getting motivated to SR for Mewtwo after an incredibly long Kyogre hunt. I really hope that seeing this will give me the energy I need to continue my journey against all odds.

Dang, did this take a while. Holy moly. Whenever I get to that point where a hunt becomes boring, I have to take a break for a while and come back. Still, makes it all the sweeter, I suppose. Big congrats; these boys are beautiful! 😊 I love how the colors are sort of switched between them. Good luck on Feebas, too! Hope it shows up a little quicker than this!

Such a great shiny! congrats! Wow 34,722 SRs! woahh thats definitely a doozy for sure! I finally got my shiny Snorlax after 26,013 SRs in my VC Pokemon Gold, idk if you remember me mentioning it a few comments ago on one of your past videos where I thought it was never going to shine. That hunt is now currently my longest hunt to date, so I felt that in my soul when you said "there comes a point in a full odds hunt where its gets soo boring to do" and you just want it to be done. its no 34.7k though, but it was still a grind, you're right though, once you reach a certain point there no turning back . Looking forward to your feebas hunt, I've heard the same rumors of it being a daunting task, glad to see you're going to be putting that whole rumor to rest soon.

Fun fact: in ruby and sapphire, if your game has a dead internal battery, feebas wont change tiles daily since all time events stop when the internal battery dies

Congratulations man!! You’ve honestly inspired me to become a shiny hunter!! Well you and other hunters like aDrive, SupremeRK9s, MandJTV and many others. I did my first full odds hunt in Crystal VC hunting for Cyndaquil and I got blessed with a shiny at only 260 SR’s!! Lol I’m currently hunting for Chikorita and I’m close to 4000 SR’s right now, I know for full odds that’s not that high of a number but man is it burning me out. Hunting while watching a movie or something, makes it waaaay more enjoyable ;)
I haven't done any 1/8192 hunts (don't have an old game) but doing full odds is really about getting encounters in while doing other things. If you're already watching TV/movies, RUclips, or whatever, you can just pull out your game and hunt away.
Brandon Wood or do it while playing other games. Got my first full odd shiny while playing fortnite lol
I keep saying it, but these hunts just bring me to a happier time. Still going for that 1% lapras in the ice cave for fire red. 2 years strong now! With this in place order, the RE’s will go up!
I hope all this hard work you put into this hunt makes Feebas go a lot more smoother haha. That fish is a nightmare to hunt.
I'm already 1.200 FEs into my FeebasHunt in Saphire. Luckily the battery has run dry, so it's not hard at all. Found the water tile after 2hrs or so. Good Luck Sonikks! ;)
Oh and beware of Carvanha! Got a shiny of that after 458 FEs xD I was a bit frustrated after that tbh. ^^'

Nice shiny. The only shiny I've ever gotten was in Leaf Green. I was walking around some grass and ran into a shiny sandshrew and instantly traded it over to Pokémon XD.

I super lucked out two days ago. I was playing my Black 2 and I’m in the after game and in Clay’s tunnel. Encounter rate is very high there but I didn’t want to use any repels just Incase of a shiny. Maybe 2 minutes later I ran into... a shiny Lairon with good defense IV and defense boost nature!!!

How long do these usually take you? I want to start on Pokemon Sapphire with Treecko, but I don’t just want to go into it and get bored. Basically just looking for any advice on how long to spend in one sitting, and how many days it should potentially take??? I’m very new to this, so any help is appreciated. Are you using an emulator on Colo? If not, how do you get it looking so crisp? I lovelovelove the way Pokemon look in Colo/XD, so lively... but on my TV they look pretty blurry...

I'm hunting Arceus in Platinum. I've been going since last September. Full odds hunts can really suck sometimes. I rarely count my full odds hunts just because I know they will go on forever.

My first shiny Pokemon was a Lileep, but it was also the first time I'd ever seen a Lileep. I can remember arguments with my brother over the "correct" colour, I also remember I didn't actually like or want the Lileep as I'd picked the wrong fossil by mistake but ran with it (cause I was 10 and dumb). I recall releasing that Lileep without ever throwing it into battle as I eventually would do that with Pokemon I decided I didn't want, so I never knew what was special about it until years later. Oops.
My comment on your previous video wasnt meant to discourage or alude to you never finding a shiny feebas. If anything i was thinking about it the wrong way.

Last Monday I got my first gen3 shiny:
Adamant female Spearow. (Still waiting for a nickname)
Last Wednesday I caught Corona, no joke, I'm still sick, but it gets better by day.
And yesterday I caught a Hardy Geodude. Called her Mulan, because I was watching that movie.
So this means phase 3, If I'm not mistaken.

I caught a shiny lileep in my pokemon go, just in my driveway. There it was. Now it's resting in my pokemon home.
