aron looks so cool as a shiny to me because it has a good choice of color accents; very vivid red eyes with its slight cooler tint to its metal and it goes to show not every shiny needs to be heavily saturated colors to look cool (also congrats lol)

Aggron is such a defensive beast, congrats on getting the shiny Aron! Can't wait for the Swablu video! I've also learned too, is that I always expect to go over odds. I always expect more pain than what I may actually get, so it isn't as shocking late into the hunt.
You're statistically droughting at 12k so I expect every hunt to go to that number. It helps me motivation wise to expect a large amount. I'm always pleasantly surprised when it appears quickly.

My brother got a first egg shiny Aron using masuda method in Omega Ruby. Also my first shiny in Pokemon Go was a random Aron in the cafeteria at school. My brother eventually traded me his shiny Aggron along with other shinies and legendaries because he sold his games, I have really grown to love this shiny.

Thanks! Phasing is basically how many shinies you find until you find your target. I found and posted Zubat a few days ago for example which is Phase 1. Phase 2 was Aron, my target.

Wait, a Gamecube memory card can be corrupted?! How do I avoid that? :o I have a shiny Rayquaza and a event Deoxys on that thing, wanna keep those real bad
Get a used Nintendo Wii with GC memory card slot, then, hack the Wii (not hard, no risk), there is some homebrew (unnofficial programs) on the Wii that can transfer files to PC and from PC to Memory Card. Then, all you need to do is backup your gamecube savefile and if anything happens just do the reverse process. I think you can find very cheap Wii's nowadays, or maybe go to a friends house that has one. Good luck brother!
There isn't any real danger, it was my own fault. The Gamecube memory cards cannot store more than 1 language save file on them at once. I had a completed English copy to showcase my 3rd Gen shinies and I had accidentally tried to load a Japanese Colosseum version using that memory card, which corrupts it instantly and it requires formatting. I'm just glad I didn't have any shinies on there quite honestly.
Congratulations on the back to back shinies Steve. I was EV training for HP and within 100 encounters found a shiny Marill. Is it true that in gen 3, it can change gender when being evolved?
Thanks! Azumarill and Marill have a 50/50 gender ratio whereas Azurill has a 75/25 split. Azuarill has the chance to change gender when it evolves into Marill.

Leo Calanchini second Phase means that it's the second shiny of the Hunt. The first phase of this hunt ended in a shiny Zubat, and the second phase ended in an Aron
Phases usually indicate how many shinies you find before you find the one you're looking for. I went through something like 15 shinies before I finally got s a shiny shroomish by horde hunting in AlphaSapphire, for example, while a shiny Meowth in SoulSilver went through at least 5-6 phases.
I’ve had crazy luck recently 2 days ago I hatched a shiny drilbur and then immediately ran into a shiny minccino, and yesterday I ran into a random shiny snorlax

You can't do soft reset hunts with a dry battery. Random encounters is fine.
