For those who wants to resolve the map ping bug: just ping the map manually. It will cause the game to reset mouse location and probably remind the game its not hovering over the map

yes and the only way I have found to fix it was to CTRL click the middle of the screen. at least it works most of the time.. I found that by accident one day. was so mad i just kept pinging and couldn't kill anything
This has happened to me a few times, but clicking the map didn’t work for me. Only seems to go away with time.
Interesting that you had the firing bug recorded. I have had that happen a couple times but have never seen it in a video. I have always just closed the game and restarted hoping I was still alive.
just aktivate the mouse coursore and after this you can normal shot agine whit LMB, this bug coming allways in a bad timing when you can shot in a full broadside =/
@@Bl4ck47 Yeah, tabbing in and out worked everytime for me, atleast so far.
Even tho there are way more bugs like that one. Somtimes when you lock the camera with your right mouse button, you just can't unlock it until you finish glitching out.
Hit CTRL twice to clear it.

Btw, I was playing Agincourt when shaet happened, so I just went in w secondaries and slowly and steadily finished game by nibbling off CV to its demise. God, that eventually turned into such a fun...
By the way, latest devblog: In Update 12.4 Eye in the Sky commander skill is updated: Removed 50% debuff to Spotting Aicraft consumable action time. So regular spotting plane action time but with shorter reload time.

I've been a lighthouse Venezia main for awhile now. I tried the leg mod for like 4 games and had to switch back. Once you get used to prop + rudder mod, playing the leg mod feels like sailing a bathtub.
7:00 another new bug that WG doesnt bother fixing because there is no instant money in it for them.
The "no-shooting" bug is appearing more and more these days. In the last 3 days I experienced it once, 2 of my clanmates as well, and at least 4 more times in chat (so not counting those that didn't speak in chat).
Quite frustrating...

7:20, this happen to me all the time too. You have to press to M to open the map then it will be back to normal
i love the fuel smokes, colombo can be a lethal ambusher with its smoke considering you cant get bad dispersion at 3km
I had that fking mouse problem twice already
actually thought that ping bug was my own fault for tabbing in and out too quickly before a game started.. I'm not sure if this is better or worse lol
This video shows that 75% of the time we don't need 5 smokes...
@Potato Quality, the fix for bug is to re-ping mini-map to unlock the mouse firing button .
It is a known bug.
There’s also a stupid bug where if you decline someone’s invite to div up in game, and you’re tabbed looking at the Ship roster: you cannot escape the tab menu
If Italy really built a ship like this, should be 4x4 gun turrets, one more gun, shorter ship body.
I have been having the same issue. If you click the cog for mini map it will fix itself
I've had the firing bug a couple times recently. I mapped the guns to a secondary key on my keyboard in case I run into it again.
Had the trigger thing happen to me 4-5 times now, so i setup aux fire trigger on my mouse "browser back key" if that makes sense and it works through the bug
That bug, that ******* bug. It happened to me whiles I had an ohio 7km away flat broadside ready to dev strike whiles in my GK in gold league ranked and that cost us the game. I actually thought it was just me but thank you for the relief of knowing its not just me.
Fun fact, the shooting bug is REALLY old. I know for a fact I had it happen to me around 2 years ago
yay XD i experienced the same bug. I think i manually klicked on the map and and then i could shot again without worries
That damn bug. Happened to me 200k damage into a Yamato game. Had to force exit and reload. I mean come on WG, get it sorted.
The Colombo is a divisional ship, it's not good on its own due to its heavy lack of range. But I have found that occasionally when people abandon the middle to like, one or two ships, you can completely obliterate the middle of the map then charge the weaker flank from places they wouldn't expect (I got a kraken and a half with over 250k damage before they sank me when I did that)
I actually have to say that Colombo is one of my favourite bbs and i rarely ever play divs
@@MK-wx5vu Well if you haven't had trouble thus far then I would have to say that it's just a lot of luck, you end up in a match with CVs and this thing suffers without its own division, assuming the CV goes after you. This situation also applies when your team abandons the flank you're on and leaves you to deal with 4-5 different ships, which is mainly why I try to see if the enemy isn't paying attention to the middle
@@smh6926 I agree but tbh in these scenarios you usually suffer, no matter the ship. Of course matchmaking can always make things easier/harder but that's not a problem of this particular ship. I just love the consistency of the ship paired with tankyness and the ability to disengage whenever needed. Also it's another example of 380mm guns drastically overperforming in terms of pen, leadtime etc.
@@MK-wx5vu well my point was that it seems to be the only prominent flaw to this thing, and that simple flaw can be fixed with having a division by my experience

FINALLY! EVIDENCE OF THE BUG! I thought I was the only one with the fire bug! Hooray! I'm glad to know im not the only one being affected and this is a bigger issue. I hope this comes to WG's attention so they can fixed it.

I get the bug where shooting doesnt work fairly often. Usually just have to wait it out.

7:14 I had this exact bug happen to me in a ranked match the other day.
Yeah you have to ping something on minimap, than it will start working again.

By the way, I had the same bug as you. It just lasts one game it's annoying.

Hi PQ, It would be interesting to see a review of the unique upgrade for halland. Do you think that would make halland a great gun boat?
My highest ever XP was a Venezia game before the nerf. 3500, 3800 somewhere in there.
CTRL key is stuck - you have to click the map to fix it.

Talking bout spaghetti code: I'm having crashes on almost every battle since last patch. Imagine the thread of support team telling me that 1st it's because of my OCed CPU, 2nd it's because of having a web browser opened while playing, 3rd it's because of CPU temperatures, 4th It's because of AMD drivers.
I'm on a semi-lighthouse build on the french alt cruisers, it's fun

Nice video but you should use AP more. SAP is great but they are subjected to saturation and cant be used to citadel. You could have dev struck that Zao had you just use AP when he was 9.9km away.
"and cant be used to citadel." that is wrong. You can citadel with every ammo, even with HE, especially the light cruisers armor. Only heavy cruisers and battleships armor is thick enough, that SAP doesnt penetrate it right through the citadel.
NO. u dont want to use AP against a FULL broadside IJN heavy cruiser at very close range, as most 203mmit will just overpen (idk about US slow 203mm tho). Maybe its possible at minute 9:00. Give it a try at 10+km or when they angle a little bit.
@@zagareth4604 it's true that any ammo type can be used to citadel other ships granted the armor is within the ammo's pen limit though at T10 it's quite unlikely that 203 SAP can citadel anything, much less a Zao with layer armor
@@angga2917 point is that he had more than 1 chance to delete the Zao from the match without having to eat it's torps had he just used AP. I know full well Zao is difficult to citadel fully broadsided at close range. It's a similar mechanic to that of the Hipper or the Roon but that's not the point i was trying to make. SAP is great but every ammo type has it's uses.

Good pointer to have an alternative fire button ready as the ping bug is a new addition that happens on every other game these days... WG is always improving the gaming experience...😬
personally i prefer the full schizo lighthouse build, with higher detect than range, and eye in the sky recon plane for range.
The game seems to have a ping problem need to fix that
Great vid. Napoli is tougher, but I've always done better and enjoyed Venezia more.
If you ping a friendly ship on the mini map it fixes the shooting bug
yes need to ping somewhere on the map. happens quite frequently now. not sure if is a game issue or aslain mod issue (for me).

Hakabase I think, but you need to tweak settings to look like that.
I guess the incoming fire alert perk is good for blind people. Also I have plenty of fun with Italian BB smoke. Yes, its "only" 381mm guns but the tier 10 has 16 of them. Its relative fast ship and ok tank. Range is an issue but I with the smoke and fair tank Id say its a brawler BB so range is really not important. Btw, the secondaries... The secondaires lol
Like Hitler, Mussolini was also really keen on cannons. Obviously 😆
Now that there are no manual secondaries, rushing DDS is quite hard in this thing

dude... you must not use concealment expert, change it to outnumvered and see how insane is the dispersion.

Venezia and Lighthouse, that sounds a beyond dumb, but imma so going to try that out, cause dumb is funny and fun is something wargaming robbed from the game recently.

no cv and no hybrids...never happens. should at least be 2 x subs by standard mm sh..e. good target practice.
This is a crap game with crap mechanics and filled with bugs. Don’t take the ‘fun’ part as a real thing.
