It would be pretty funny if it had 5-7 seconds worst reload and 0.2 worst sigma to “compensate” for having 5 additional guns

@@franz265 superships are kinda dumb. something like annapolis would definitely be strong (after all its a dm with more guns) but then they go and add the burst fire magic spell. why? its just not needed.

Amen to this. I quit back in June of 2020 ever since the CV rework and all I can see from it is the game going downhill with every update and becoming less and less playable unless you really hate yourself.
Game without CV-Subs: Interesting, fun, rewarding position
Game with subs-cv: Pure pain.
I really wish WG would apply this treatment with the battleships instead of what we’re currently getting, it’d be nice it have a Montana with the same number of shells with better ballistics and accuracy instead of a 16 gun contraption that more closely resembles Colombo minus the sap and exhaust smoke. It’s kinda sad how with the handful of exceptions (having better torpedo belt, spaced citadel protection, 38mm deck/upper belt and combat instructions) Maine is objectively inferior to devastation in nearly every other measurable metric, which isn’t good considering devastation is already a lackluster ship.
Some few exceptions aside WG hates BBs with lots of guns but no 30mm overmatch. They give them all kinds of downsides like agonizingly long reload and shit dispersion. The overmatch BBs on the other hand are their clear favourites in this comparison. Accurate snipers often with quick reload.

@@gothia1715 they call it balancing, but what good is 16 guns if you can't anything. Most Italian BB's are frustrating to play, there is no range where you can reliably land shots.
Ever since Conde and Annapolis were added, they were considered too good so every supership has to be worse... This ship in particular should've had a gimmick where it gets a Super Def AA and the OTO Melara 76s were dual purpose secondaries. I think that would make it a funny alternative Napoli and a supership worthy vessel.
that would be fantastic. im imagining it as a nuclear button to remove carrier squadrons. like a tenfold AA dps increase but it lasts 10 seconds with the standard cooldown. it must be used strategically (because the CV can get planes to you while the def AA is recharging) but can be used as a sort of scare tactic to protect your teammates. yeah, theres a low hp bb here, but good luck hitting him with planes. except the wowp devs want to keep their jobs so it wont happen :(

Been saying this ever since subs were added - no more than 1 sub per team, no more than 3 subs and dds total per team. Basically make it one superlight ship per cap. Having five or six superlight ships in games just ruins everything. Not gonna touch on the issue of asw, but boy do I have some opinions... like how people who say asw can't be too strong are idiots because subs are literally the stealthiest class in the game, so if you get caught out you deserve to get nuked by the whole map. But somehow the same line of thought doesn't apply to stealth dds who magically DO deserve to get nuked by the whole map if they get caught out.
I've never done a lighthouse build, but I love the concept...like a secondary Agar build (pre nerf). Operating not as intended.

Looks like it's aa is quite decent too, I can see those oto 76mm on the deck
AA is a downgrade to Venezia, you get 53/588 dps at 4.6/4km compared to Venezia's 189/476 at 4.6/3.7 and lose a significant amount of flak for only slightly more range on your medium AA and with the lack of range on the long range auras neither ships have that good of an AA, especially against super carriers.

AA should be better...if that 76mm is supposed to be the Oto-matic; that gun is a modern weapon with individual radar-control from the 70s-80s. If this is really supposed to be a 30s-40s design, the biggest AA weapon it should have is the 65mm semi-auto. WtF, Gaijin?!?
I've cit Yamato's in the front cheeks with AP Napoli from 11km out, you can do it even when Yammy is somewhat angled.

I would swap outnumbered for the 4 point AA skill, since when your AA is active it will cut your heal and smoke cooldown alot
I like how when your team pushing you're like "there they go suiciding" but when the other team does it you're like "finally some people actually are playing the game"

I love how people called me stupid in PQ's comments for suggesting that the Italian cruiser supership would be a "super-Napoli" using 254mm SAP.
Do you think the current auction for the Piemonte with the starting bid of 100,000,000 credits is worth it for the ship? Not sure if 150,000,000 credits would be enough of a bid ( Might be my bid , not sure yet)

Under Aslain's, in the Port Mods section, mark the one that says "Resources". After that, click ok and confirm install. Be sure to exit game before installing first.

Seeing the armour layout just makes me weep for Clausewitz. Why does she not get a similarly sturdy side? What excessive strength does she have that she can only have armour on the deck, immediately under the superstructure that will arm most things anyway?

There's a setting, called something like advanced UI mode. You can turn that to always on. Not too sure where it exactly is since the settings menu has been changed recently.
@@wombat4191 thats the thing i cant find that been googling, only thing i can change is the keybind to full interface mode but thats only when only when holding down the key
Well at least it has ASW airstrikes and not depth charges (unlike Venezia) so it can actually do something against subs

Me who was at basically 0 credits and nothing but gray boosters to start the week.
This super seems terrifying to run up against in CBs, assuming anyone runs into one.
Honestly, I don't see what much it brings that Venezia doesn't, besides tankiness. The gunpower is not that different, going from 54 to 67 mm pen doesn't achieve too much besides a select few 55 or 60 mm platings that it gets over. Sure, giving broadside to this is even more dangerous because of the Napoli AP, but otherwise I don't see it being more "terrifying".

Credits have been in a weird spot since the Econ rework. Nothing fun to spend them on but too much essential boring stuff to buy. Leaves it in a spot where I’d rather have less credits if it meant less trash credit sinks in the game

Base reload is 21 sec. So would the burst have like 60 sec reload for a two salvo burst?

Looks kind of meh. Its weird, as you said, some superships are T11 or T12 in power, others feel like T10.5 and not worth it at all.

This is not a Super Venezia, this is a Super Napoli without secondaries
But Napoli isn't in the tech tree...
Many superships now seem to be balanced around just being very survivable so people with more money than braincells can play them reasonably effectively and keep spending money on the game.
not superships: all ships. Wargaming will never again make a 14km conceal BB with a vulnerable citadel. They're too hard to play.
@@hagostaeldmann And some inconsistencies in ship lines just show so blatantly how brainless they want to make the game. For example the RN BC line has a vulnerable citadel throughout the line to teach you to be careful with them, and then St Vincent throws it all to thrash and gives you an overpen box by straight up turning the above water part of the citadel into auxiliary rooms or something. Like yeah, I understand making the T10 of a line a reward to look forward to and maybe removing some unpleasant elements, but please not like this, not at the expense of other players. Minotaur for example gets that crazy turret traverse, which makes her such a joy to play compared to the rest of the line, but that doesn't make playing against her any more frustrating. Ships aren't designed like that anymore, nowadays the first person experience is all WG cares about.
the things you complain about are the same things 90% of us also complain about. don't feel bad when the commentary goes negative, we all feel your pain and most of us are not even as good a player as you are and take even more of a beating. from the totally broken subs/counter play, to the original tier 11s being SOOO OP but now the newer ones are mostly disappointing to the point of most belong in the tier 10 resource ships category versus tier 11.

No actually, you don't. You could uninstall, enough of those and maybe WG would rethink the balance. Maybe they'd even get rid of subs in randoms. You never really know if you keep playing their game how they want.

I was the red cv in that second game. I'd like to apologize to @PotatoQuality for hunting him like that. I never figured that game would end up on his YT channel. I'm a huge fan and I feel bad! But I needed wins for the weekly missions... I could pretend I didn't know PQ was on the other team, but I also knew he was likely the biggest threat to our chances of win. I was trying to make sure his impact on my game was as minimal as possible. Was I a dick for hunting him? Yeah, I admit it. Watching the vid and listening to him talk about me and the sub... anyway, sorry PQ! And I love your videos! 👍
I hate that WG have made Airship Escort one of the modes in random battles

Why hate it? It's a more brawly gamemode, which will give people a reason to play more brawl-specced ships in general in Randoms (as you don't know when it'll appear).
More brawl-focused ships in circulation -> less passive snipey meta in all the battle types.

I think your wrong, despite I hate superships in the game as much CVs and subs, Piamonte looks nasty, is tanky and punishing and consistent, with no gimmicks, and man, I hate light lighthouse builds, I don't care about damage, I care about objectives and battle impact.
It seems underwhelming, compared to the Venezia.
Well i say this is a disappointment after the venezia because no special gimmicks on the ship. At least venezia has it’s unique upgrade which allow it to use smokes more usually and this makes playmaking more easier. What is the gimmick of this ship as a “super” tier? I don’t see a point to play this on venezia because of some ASW changes. Also no spotting plane is a disadvantage against venezia, 17.6km range is sometimes can be hard. So, this is not a “super” tier. This is just a t10 with some gun and SAP advantage since Spanish cruiser line added to the game. Castilla have 254mm guns on 3x3 turrets as main armamanent and those are Italian too. So AP pen rate is same or nearly same, dispersion on Castilla guns is same with venezia’s 203mm guns.
Their taking the super from their containers and adding it to their ships now. Shame really.
I know his complaints have some validity to it but Jesus some times he puts out a video that keeps me away for a bit after.
Venezia has a legendary mod, Venezia has an extra turret, Venezia has a Spotter/Fighter. Why bother playing this? Yay you overmatch Minotaur/Brisbane. Just not really seeing the point.
because every next ship HAS to be better, not just some sidegrade, right? to hell with powercreep
@@ImRandomDude i mean, it is a super ship. you kind of expect it to be a clear step up from the t10 given the cost involved in obtaining and playing a super ship compared to a regular t10. if it's just a "side grade" to a t10, with added economic downsides there isn't a point.

Do you not think it's a bit ironic to complain about not being able to counter subs while repeatedly going on about how strong SAP is and how the enemies cannot counter it? And then you only took massive sub torp damage because you just... didn't repair a double ping with visible torps heading for you. I understand not liking subs, but you really only have yourself to blame there.
With griefer CVs so prevalent being a content creator in a game with one that stream snipes is rough, should honestly be able to report that guy but this is working as WG has intended so nothing will happen.

This ship so bad, I think Piemonte should keep Venezia gimmick like 5x3gun but 240mm., spotting plane, and top up with engine boost like Paolo or back gun can rotate at front to easy to shoot left or right like Colombo. 2x4 torpedoes just ok. compare with Condé and Annapolis they have special ability but Piemonte and Clausewitz are crying at the corner now 🙄😒
Dude, you ask why subs and CVs play like this, and I'll tell you: they're griefers, and they're playing a game where the devs encourage griefing. It's not the classes, its the disgusting people that play it. I dont feel good or happy playing those cancer classs because im not a piece of shit, and therefore i dont play them. I am glad to see that you dont either.
