    08:06 I purchased the Thermalright Frozen Prism 240 black version, with 2 fans, the three-slot HUB-FAN is included. I wanted to know if it makes no difference to connect them on the 3 slots or do we have to respect the connections on this HUB (such as black-black or white-black slot)? The instruction manual contains no instructions regarding the fan connections on the HUB-FAN with only 2 fans. Thank you and greetings

      It’s better to plug in the 2 fans into the hub, and the water pump directly into the motherboard (as in video). The reason is that your water pump will run at different speed than your fans.
      If you plug the pump into the hub, it’ll run at the (usually slower) speed as the fans.

    Hopefully Thermalright make an AM5 offset mount for these coolers to position the waterblock over the CCX's

    My mobo only has one cpu header. Do I put the pump in that header, and the fan header in a regular 4pin header?

    • @bludzzh
      @bludzzh 9 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah. Same issue. Either one works, just make sure it detects both in BIOS.

    If you side mount you have to flip the fans right? Also my motherboard doesn't have a pump header would I connect the pump to the cpu_fan header? Or sys_fan

    • @rupyproductions2506
      @rupyproductions2506 11 месяцев назад +1

      connect the pump to the cpu_fan header, sys_fan is ok but you have to adjust the bios later to make sure it runs at max speed

    I’m really skeptical on if I should buy this because I am very worried if it will break and then fry my whole 1k pc.
    Does anybody know if this is well built and won’t break?

    • @Strollerist
      @Strollerist Год назад +4

      I have bought it recently and working just fine. In fact I think this is the best prodcut on the market, when it comes ration between price range and quality. Ofc there are better product which makes less noise or worse cheap products. As far as I can tell, design is very much same as the most other similar products and it has aRGB lights. More importantly its actually very well built. But the fan noise was not really loud, but still you can tell the difference from Corsair, Arctic fans. For me the noise was not really bothering, since I have also PC case with sound absorb. Really Really loved the product. It wont fry your system, cause it will automatically shutdown, if cooler does not work. After I installed the the cooler, it was also not starting or shutting down immedeatly. My problem was like showed in the video, I did not inserted the fan pins correctly. I had switched pins of Pump an CPU fan. Now its working perfectly. I would definetly reccomend it. Just best product! Affordable, well built, cool design. I would say just the materials of this thing would cost 50 bucks. but the whole thing for just 75 bucks? too good deal man.

      I am also considering purchasing this cooler.
      How does the pump sound compared to coolers from well-known manufacturers?

    • @bludzzh
      @bludzzh 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@falera7266Pump sounds great. The first few minutes, you can hear a little bit of gurgling, but it soon ends. The fans are a teensy bit loud, but they can be adjusted in BIOS. It’s a STEAL.

      I bought the frozen prism 360 black a few months ago, it's cooling a 7800x3d, the fans are silent, I idle around 45c and get up to around 65c while gaming. this cooler is actually really good for $69, I was skeptical at first but figured if it fails i'll know because I use Core Temp to monitor cpu clock, temps, and usage. it's been going strong since the day I turned my pc on.
