You should awarded for the best pc building instructor but thermalright should do more r&d on wiring devices, such a mess. It's already 2024 but we are still living with wires & cables
aww thanks mate I really appreciate u
The wiring is an acceptable compromise considering the price
ye as always u can go back and keep tidying up I just wanted to finish off the build for the video but pfcourse u can go back and fix all the cables ...I think it turned out OK considering
I daisy chained everything and there's no argb thing left
where did u plug the final 5v3pin
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ I just unplugged one of the daisy chained cable and then plugged that into the rgb slot. It works. I booted my system and it doesn't detect ram or the CPU so I guess I have to take it apart again :(
Since you built a lot of pcs, do you have an idea of what the problem is?
is it safe or okay to connect the AIO pump to cpu_fan1? because my mobo doesn't have a pump header
yes sure is
I just bought one. one question, Can I connect all 3 ARGB fans and the ARGB cable of the waterblock pump together on one 5V argb header on the mb?
yes u sure can that will ensure they all sync in terms of rgb ... due to having splitters for each fan... so daisy chain tour radiator fans then incorporate the pump fan into it and finally plug the last argb 5v3pin into the mobo header
What cpu u put and what temp you get idle and max load?
the cpu was the 7700x and max load i was getting about 70 to 80 but u never run at max all the time that weas only during cinebench single core and multi core stress test
Hello sir Mike! I would like to ask if the pump argb is compatible with gigabyte rgb fusion 2.0??
yes u just plug it into the mobo 5v3pin
CAN it handle ryzen 7 7800x3d
yes it can
although how is with r7 7800x3d?
absolutelt fine... cools it no problems. even used it for a 12900ks and works great keeps it cool
I have the same one but my cords show when I try to put it the way my box shows like all of my connector cords do I flip it around I don’t know what to do I need help
in order to get your cords nott o show so much, i would just flip the fan so the cords are closest to the routing hole you want to use, make sure you do it for all the fans so that it will all look the same keeping in line making it look symectric
Does the coolant come pre installed?
@@Kuzco-wv9dv no i have to buy it and install it
Never explained how to fill the radiator or if it’s already filled or not
@@tsukuyomitomaki oh its a closed loop u don't do anything that's what aios are ..closed loops so maintenance free..that's why they are called aio all in one
its an aio? 😂 you dont have to fill anything
u get it right?... aios ...not same as water cooling with waterblocks and pumps..but be nice too... he prolly hasn't had as much experience in pcs... it's OK..we all gotta start somewhere
Whats the max temp u get while playing games
i get about 70 but i dont play games for hours and hours only cpl hrs at any given time and it alays stays about 70 or lower depending on game too and setrtings
On what processor ?
Bro I brought this cooler but my motherboard haven't argb port.🥺
do not worry there is a good qork around and u can still change colours.. get yourself a sata to 5v3pin adapter they sell on ebay and Amazon and aliexpress is cheapest .. most thing on aliexpress take only 12 days guaranteed now so it's not 1 month delivery like it use to be ...but if ebay easier get it there is u can find it local
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ bro this cooler support LGA 1200???
How do I figure out the software to control the led lights and everything on it?
@@mvaas2021 u use mobo software to control rgb ..not thermalright software ..that's what I did ... cuz it plugs onto your mobo port..is u have asus use armoury crate if u have gigabyte use rgb fusion msi use msi centre and so on
@@MIKEYZVLOGZthank you sir!
@@mvaas2021 ur welcome
Super. Best no nonsense install on the web. Thank you very much. I gave you 2 thumbs up, but only one counted.
lol 😂 thanks mate I appreciate u
Can you remake this for dummies like me? The cable connections are driving me crazy
how do u mean
@MIKEYZVLOGZ the argb cables are driving me crazy, I have so many cables I don't know where to connect. I have now bought an argb controller that I hope fixes my problem
the cables all have splitters on them so your able to connect them together aka daisy chain. so basically u connect each fan like a chain ... same for the fan cable 4pin pwm) except u use the black splitter cable they supply u with the cooler and once they are all connected...the last cable plugs into the 4pin motherboard. u can use either cpu_fan1/sys_fan1 etc
and the argb plugs into the 5v3pin header not the 4pin 12v ..make sure u match the amount of pins and the label is there too so do not criss cross or you may damage the fan or short something
@@SaMcfc05u didn't need a hub but u can use it did u ensure it was a 5v3pin hub at 8:50 I show how to daisy chain the cables...for the fan power pwm..u use the black splitter cable that comes with the aio... that allows you to plug all the fan cables into it ..and u plug that black cable into cpu_fan1 or sys_fan
@@SaMcfc05how many argb cables do u have total? I would suggest being patient and slowly route the cables one by one where u want them to go
Latching that pump one by one into the default amd handles, look difficult. But your video is DAMN good mate.
@@rnegoro1 thanks mate I really appreciate u and your support in watching and commenting ...it means the world to me buddy..and it's what keeps me grinding
Which software to use to control the lighting?
I use the software designed for the mobo...msi mystic . asus aura. gigabyte rgb fusion. asrock polychrome..but u can also use signal rgb aswell
I love that case so much, i really need to build in one soon.
it's amazing
what fan header do you use been having trouble finding one
just the cpu or system fan ..for pump i can use either but i usually use the closest i can find so less cable routingvand showing
Hi, my motherboard only have cpu fan header and system fan header. Is there any way to install this aio?
yes u simply install into cpu_fan1 or sys_fan1 it will be fine... some mobos have a dedicated aio pump fan but if u don't u can just use the cpu fan1 as it will speed up according to your cpu temp which is kind of what u want
Hey man, idk if you'll respond but i don't know what's wrong with mine. Im running a R5 5600g and my idle temp on bios reads at 56c. Got it installed correctly and everything
hey buddy, whats the quality of your thermal paste?? did u install it yourself?? could be a lack of thermal paste...i always do my best to reply to all those who subscribe and ask questions
Where did you buy the screwdriver?
amzn would u like a link ?
is this newer than frozzen notte 360 ? and installation is the same ?
@@Osamah001 about the same
I just installed the 240 and love it. Keeps my temps 5 centigrade less than a 120 cooler master aio liquid.
@@quesoloco87 that's great news buddy
My mainbord doesnt have that 3 pin for rgb, is there any adapter?
yes I can get sata to 5v 3pin or molex to 5v3pn or even 12v4pin that converts to 6v3pin
yo i just plugged it in but it's red only, the color won't change do you know what it means ?
THE rgb is red only?? it must be running off your mobo software . check your bios setup , have u downloaded any thrid party software
POV: LTT but cheap
@@PacificLinkAirways ltt? I'm not following sorry not in with all the slang yet
@@PacificLinkAirways do u mean Linus tech tips says it's cheap?
hello, this "short screws" are normal m3 6mm? i lost mine screws😂
u can use normal ones as long as they fit
Mine came with a different splitter which has made it confusing
it should work the same way though..u should have an instructional guide and it will show u how it's suppose to connect
which software should i use if i have x570 steel legend . Will the cooler and fans ( Thermalright TL-C12C-S X3 CPU Fan )change color at the same time
polychrome by asrock
Hi, I'm pretty new to PC building and I got this cooler for my 7900X even though I didn't want to, I was gonna get a Peerless Assassin 120 so I don't really know how to use these ones. Where do I fill the water for the cooler from?
@@YCOSKUN this is an all in one cooler. and it's a close loop design so u don't have to fill water... it comes ready to install and stat using
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ Ohh I see so it's already got some liquid in it. Sorry I didn't know, cheers!
@@YCOSKUN that's OK...nonworries at all
Can we put ANY fan on them that we want? I am putting thermaltake swafan EX12 120mm fans in my new build and I want all matching fans in my case.
yes u can do whatever u want ..the fans are no hard-wired to the radiator or come from pump
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ thanks bro
can you change the color to white only or is always rainbow?
u can chose whatever u want its controllable either by mobo software or hub with controller
really good vid my brudda, just one question, are you able to set one specific color for each fan,
@@eddyramquist8811 only if your motherboard software allows for it...I think u can aa long you find a software that can do it
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ like the signal rgb or thermalrights own software, also would still be able to set one color per fan even with dasiy chainged
Is the tubes on the left side the right way to put it?
according to how they install it it's suppose to be on the right. but I don't see any reason why left side would be wrong ..I always try and follow how they install it... but there are time where I've done the opposite and its fine...thus reason being it shouldn't matter which side the tubes are on it will still pump
Does it work with ryzen 7 7800x3d
ofcourse
Is it compatible with ryzen 7 5700X??
yes
What is processor temperature and processor model?
this pprocessor is the 7700x and it keeps it at about 60 degrees on full load it goes to about 80 which is pretty good
how that water cooler
honestly it's pretty good for price to performance however if u want a nicer one with equal performance and abit better looking check out the frozen warframe
Can I change the color on it
yes indeed
Does work with i9-19400k?
yes it does
i would be dead without u ty big bro
ur most welcome
Hi, nice vid! Also, does the cooler come with thermal paste?
yes it does
How to change the fan colour
@ronn23k plug in to your 5v3pin header on motherboard and then u use software to change colour...or u need a hub with controller and use controller after u connect to hub..it's argb meaning addressable so u can change colour

@@MIKEYZVLOGZ how is the build quality of the cooler and the pump quality of the cooler . Can you try it on Ryzen 7 7700 .plz
@mdeasinhossain6916 it's actually built very well and for 7700x works very well keeps it at the 60 to 70 mark
Nice video and clear explanation
thanks I appreciate u
Is this AIO compatible with the Kraken G12 mount?
should be does your kraken use a thumb screw to mount pump? even if not u can use any gigabyte and msi as they are identical...just has to have the same style mount where there's backing plate...and then stand and thumb screw ...basically if ut mounts the same way it will work
sadly dont believe I can use this AIO as the copper plate for this AIO is a more squared shape rather than it being rounded. Same thing applies to the rest of the Thermalright copper pump heads@@MIKEYZVLOGZ
I plan on buying the asus rog strix lc ii 240 argb which if you see how their pump head is, you can see the difference as that's how it should be to be able to fit the kraken g12 mount.
@play_stationjr8636 ok wait a second I thought u meant can it work with the back plate..u mean u want to use the kraken mount and plate with an aio that fits it right? in that case no u can't ut won't fit .. but honestly aren't u buying a new cooler anyway..it wouldn't matter would it? cuz u will get all new parts to use that are suppose to fit together
sorrry lol, so basically I wanna get a new AIO cooler to use with the kraken g12. The problem is, is that the kraken g12 round part where the pump head goes into is rounded. So now speaking for Thermalright, it looks like their head pumps (wear you can see the copper plate) is rather squared than rounded, so the pump head wouldnt be able to fit it into the g12 unless I trim the rounded part on the g12 into a more squared shape. if tht makes sense 🤷♂
@play_stationjr8636 hmmm ..I get it now ur using it to cool a gpu ... why did u say that...lol..ok so u have to use a specific brand that has the same shape as your kraken like msi or gigabyte many other too but u gotta check before u buy... u need the round one with edges that go in a circle I know what u mean cuz I've used that before too...
Mine doesn’t turn on the lights
Any rattling like ls 520
what's 520?
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ i mean any ratteling noise come from pump and fan?
Argb sync from asus or signal rgb!!!
@@No_name1389 everyone saying signal rgb is the best works with all argb

What cable makes the led turn on
the 5v 3pin that comes off the aio ..one for pump and one for fans
Question i did the argb wire connection but my rgb still doesnt turn on.? What could i be doing wrong?
@@DaRealIcyK did u plug in the power for the hub? there's a sata cable that powers the hub and if so make sure ur using a mobo software to run it... try press and hold the rgb button on front of case it changes mode from co trolling with rgb button to controlling with mobo software
