I am struggling. I have an Intel based system and this is my first AIO install. I can’t find anyone installing this AIO with Intel instructions. The provided manual is confusing. It tells me to use the silver screws with the LGA1700 install but it doesn’t fit. I can use the black screws no problem. I am mid install for my first PC build since 2010 and this is all just confusing! 😅
I'm here for the same reason, wasn't much help was it.. there's no way those silver screws are going in those holes.. did it work with the black screws? hoping I don't have to cut them shorter
Really wish they would have made the AIO cover reversible. Mine is going to be upside down because I just went over all possible positions for the radiator and the only one that has the tubes reach the CPU is one that the logo ends up being upside down. I know it pops off but there are only holes for the tubes on one side and yes I thought about cutting out my own holes in it.
I got the TH240 and the back plates (plural) are nothing like in the video. Instead, they are plastic. And the best part is, the provided screws don't match the threads in the back plate. Literally can't install the cooler. Returned and got a new one - exactly the same issue. Cooler looks cool, but what good is that if you literally can't install it? How hard can it be to provide the correct plates and screws? No idea how to get a hold of Thermaltake support either.
Thank you for this video! This works for TH 120 as well. The supplied instruction in one page manual are quite shite and I would have had a hell of a bad time putting it in were it not for this video which made life easy.
Thermaltake is really vague on the install instructions for their fans and pump but did get teh pump working i think but the RBG lighting in the AIO isn't plugged in couldn't make heads or tails of the cords for the TH360 i recently bought so i went to the other RBG fan i had from coolermaster which works real well for now.

Hi there. I purcahsed a pre-owner TH360 and it came without controller or the split cables. i can connect pump and 3 coolers between themselves but i cannot find such small 3 pin header on my gigabyte motherboard? could anyone help me with that? I only have argb header (that 4 pins with 1 missing) So at 6:25 there is this cable im talking about, i just cant seem to understand where do i connect it? i dont seem to find it on the motherboard
It sure does 😊 Our aRGB products come with adapted cables to suit supported motherboards with RGB headers but also include a slim in-line controller so you choose what to use.
Mine's all hookedup and the fans run but no RGB at all. I have to take it all apart now to get the manual ARGB controller installed, which I am fine with but do not understand why the RGB Fusion software doesn't even recognize it as it is my understanding you are supposed to be able to control it via software if you didnt want the manual ARGB controller hanging out the back of your PC
I have TH240. I when I plug pump in CPU FAN, pump run all time on max speed. When i plug it in to system fan pump's spin vary. Whit's one is proper, should I run pump all the time at full speed?
The TT RGB Plus software is designed to be used with digital RGB products of ours like our Riing Plus fans, Floe CPU Cooler lineup and our custom water cooling components. The TH series of water coolers are actually aRGB controlled, so they are controlled manually via the included inline controller which connects to the arb cable and a sata power cable OR it connects directly to a 5V header on your motherboard to then be controlled via motherboard specific software like ASUS aura, MSI mystic light etc. Hope that helps.
@@ThermaltakeAustralia Is there a way to rotate the TH360 v2 argb LCD in Polychrome? As far as I can find people have only done it using TT RGB plus with a TT controller and I see no option to rotate in Polychrome. I can change the colours/effects though.

It took me so damn long to get those spring loaded screw on omg, also I couldn’t use one fan and the radiator is next to my hard drives, is that going to damage anything or just make it a bit warmer
Hi Thermaltake, I've been using this cooler for 2 years and temps suddenly started reaching 90+ degrees C. I've taken off the cooler and put in the AMD wraith cooler that came with my 5600X for the moment so I can work. When I shake the TH240 I can hear a ton of bubbles. It's like shaking a half-empty water bottle. Also when it's running, only one corner of the radiator is hot (the corner where the hot liquid tube is connecting to the radiator). I've checked the pump and it's working fine. It seems like some kind of a blockage or some heavy permeation of coolant. The store that sold me this refused to repair this and It just ran out of warranty 2 weeks ago. What I want to know is, how do I safely drain and refill this with new coolant? It would be amazing if I can do it without taking the pump assembly off. Is that knob next to the tubes in the radiator an access valve? You have no documentation about this. I've checked everything out there. Also, will car coolant properly diluted with distilled water work for the task? I live in a hot country and we don't have antifreeze in our coolant BTW.
Same here, piece of garbage, pump just stopped making the typical "whooosh" sound, but it seems to still be running, temps were at 90c playing (drumroll) FarCry1, lol. I managed to get the temps ~10c down by cleaning the radiator, some dust built up over the 2 years, however can't wait to throw this junk out.
@@carlwirch My exact feeling. I emailed with them and they told me absolutely nothing in broken English. This company is awful. My cooler is still laying around outside my PC.
Hey can I put the radiator on the top of my case (Thermaltake Versa J23) Is it convenient that the AIO fans are taking air in or out? Considering that the front 3 put air in and the rear takes air out Thanks

Hey there, the TH series of fans are not PWM controlled, so you need to install them into a fan header which you can control via software or the BIOS; alternatively, you can install them into a fan controller. As they are 3-pin and not 4-pin PWM, they will run at full speed unless instructed not to.
@@ThermaltakeAustralia thank you for your quick reply. My friend helped me, we should change the pluged in cable to another fan_sys port and now the software can handle the rpm automatically.

Hey there! Some newer boards from Gigabyte have moved on from the 3 pin over to the 4 pin RGB headers - JUST make SURE that you are only connecting 12v headers with 12v cables and 5v cables with 5v headers.
The pump connector on the motherboard is for a custom water cooler pump, this is so if the pump doesn't get any power the pc won't start, if you want control of fan speed your want to use the cpu fan connection on the motherboard.
