      Why do I see some people that do top mounts they mount the fans the opposite way from what you did which would be intake. Like I noticed inside my instructions for my H115i it shows to mount the fans intake side towards the bottom of the case for best performance.

    Thank you for covering the little things like which direction is which on the fan and showing how deeply seated that breakaway cord needs to be. I spent hours trying to get one of those installed based on the instructions last night. After finding your video I got it working in about 20 minutes.

The other other thing i noticed is you said that you took cooler back off then turned cables, this is not a problem for most people, however those of us that run 4 sticks of ram 4x16 will encounter an issue with A1 not fitting, in that scenario the tubes would need to be pointed down and then the display easily corrected in the software! The pump/block is supposed to make SOME noise. If it has been working fine then now all of a sudden started making a new noise, something might be wrong. Make sure your radiator is mounted in the top of the case or if its in the front, tubes down like I demonstrated in the video, and see if that helps the sound go away.

      Usually the F1 error says what specifically its erroring on. Like CPU fan, cha fan, or something else. Usually you can't bypass F1 error on CPU fan though, so I'd make sure you have the CPU fan connector hooked up properly per the manual or this video, to the CPU fan header.

I'd say refer to the manual in addition this video to make sure you are doing everything right. You can also probably join the discord or email/call customer support for that AIO.

    Hey I have a quick question for you guys! I bought a liquid cpu cooler with the pump in the the radiator instead of the cpu block. I can only mount it in the front of my case, so should I have the tubes up or down in this?

    • @CoalitionGaming
      @CoalitionGaming  3 года назад +3

      Doesn't matter. This video only applies to AIOs with the pump on the block. Pump in rad circumvents the issue.

    Hey, I really liked your channel, I'm just now attempting to build my first pc and I got all the parts, a 3 fan EVGA AIO included, and I was just wondering if its recommended to add thermal paste with this kind of AIOs or just use the stock one they bring, would it make it better if we add extra thermal paste from the beggining?

      Thanks! You're okay to use the provided thermal application, but cleaning it off and doing your own (if you're up for that) is generally recommended.

    So i bought kraken z53 rgb aio. Got it all installed but didnt have extra usb header to set up the display on pump. The rgb fans have a In and Out port on side of fan. I plugged one in and out cord to both fans but the second one does that get plugged into that nzxt rgb port. I cant access my fan speed or color. Im not sure if thats because i dont have usb header plugged in or not.

      USB header is for communication and control, so yes that's why that's not working. I cover another thing NZXT sent in this video that will help you get more USB headers, not sure if you saw that part.

    Best video of all of them, but I'm still confused about fan wiring. Is the in/out wire necessary? You didn't talk about that. Also can I just connect the radiator fans down to two SYS_Fan headers or do I have to use the splitter. Last, I connected the pump to the CPU FAN but my motherboard has one called PUMP FAN. Was I supposed to connect it to that? Super confused

    • @CoalitionGaming

      I'm pretty sure I mentioned whether some motherboards have a Pump fan header you can use or just CPU fan header. The answer for that since you're still confused though: whichever is fine. For the fans, I talked about the breakout cables in the video. The fans plug into a splitter that plugs into the pump block. That's all.

    So an AIO system is just plug and play? I don't need to fill it with coolant or configure anything, just install and power up as normal? Thanks

    Hey how do u know if the water is running? Like does it make a noise, the z63 I just installed doesn’t make noise besides the fans, are u supposed to hear water?

    • @CoalitionGaming
      @CoalitionGaming  3 года назад

      Not supposed to hear water no. But the pump should make some noise if you can get your ear close enough. The Nzxt cam software also tells you what rpm the pump is running at

    Trying to trouble shoot my kraken z53.
    Cpu is getting very hot and I’m thinking the pump isn’t working correctly?
    The fans and rgb both work fine? Any clues on how to tell if the pump is actually working or not?
    I also tried plugging the pump into cpu fan and pump fan on the motherboard?

    • @CoalitionGaming
      @CoalitionGaming  9 месяцев назад +2

      put your ear to it. You should be able to hear it buzzing/whirring if its powered up. Also, you can just open NZXT CAM and see if any RPM on the pump is being registered to the software there.

      Thanks for the information!
      But I think I’m just dumb 😂
      This is my first build and the pump screen was saying 31 degrees Celsius and I totally thought that meant like 100 degrees in Fahrenheit ……. 😅
