this is inspiring to watch. I just bought a MPC 2500 and expecting it on Thursday!
This man make me love the mpc 2500 more then the mpc live
Yeah me too , to be honest I had a Mpc 1000 with JJOSXL and the sound engine is Fire 🔥 the sounds come out pretty warmth raw ,crispy . The mpc live 2 is a good machine cause it got dope features but sound Engine wise is not the same .
The sound in Live is awful - lacks warmth and roundness, but for workflow is great.
great
Damm...too cold..I'm floating ...shiii..nice!!
So good to see you back in the studio. Been missing your sound
Glad u back

🚨 KEEP GOING ! I see you 😏 🦍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its a lazy loop no chopping at all.
Yeah, Marley Marl and them. Looping records. What a bunch of losers right. All those classic records that's were loops. Bunch of wack bullshit huh. Needs to be a couple of chops juggled around from a record out of the dollar bin. That's what's up right there
@@user-rc8vx8sm2b I never said losers I said LAZY. Its 2024 not the 80s. Move on and become a complete musician
@bangmateo7481 to me. When anyone uses the word "chops" it's a tell tale sign that they make wack beats. I use loops a lot. And I listen to thousands and thousands and thousands of hours of music from all over the globe to find something unique that catches MY ear. Then, I dig through scores of drum breaks and try to find a kick, a snare and a hat that match perfectly with the loop. I chop up the drums, and I play all different drum sequences throughout the whole track, largely unquantised, never staying the same for 2 bars. I'll play around with the loop here and there to keep shit interesting. All of this on hardware, no computers. And when it's all said and done, the trendy narrative of all too many wack beat makers and fans alike goes, oh, he just looped it.. this shit is a lost and forgotten art. The essence of hiphop. And goes all the way back to DJ's at the park jams. And it takes A LOT of time and effort. I'm not saying this beats all that, but I'm saying. To say a beat maker is lazy because you don't hear a bunch of "chops" in there is some bullshit. Honestly, most beat makers who do the choppity chop shit, they fucking stink. They grab some lame ass common record like the Stylistics or something everyone and there mother has already used. Or some piece of shit record out of the dollar bin. Find some spill of sounds, auto chop it, and juggle around a few "chops" over a repeating generic drum pattern in such a way that it sounds mildly cool and pleasing sonically, and then fancy themself a wizard or something. Now. To me. THAT is fucking lazy. And most of that shit sounds like generic trash bullshit. Look at someone like Madlib. Guy digs til his fingers bleed. Hooks up exquisite eclectic loops from all kinds of records from all over the world. And it's, oh. It's just a loop. Fuck outa here with that shit
That beat is dope ! Are you on JJOSXL ? @ black metaphor
